I cannot emphasize enough that the personal attention I received from Relish was above and beyond what most companies do. The clock was detained through no fault of their own, yet they emailed me to check if I got it. They were in touch everyday.
Then when I got the clock there were things I was confused about, yet I was given individual attention via email to help me with the setup

Product not up to standard.
Product not up to standard.
LCD is a not particularly high resolution, is dated, and is prohibitively bright. Light's up my father's room and he is unable to sleep despite putting it on the lowest setting.
I was expecting something more akin to an E-ink screen considering it only needs to display text however it is not the case.
Regrettably the product is near essential for patients with early dementia, however there is a huge mismatch between the product quality and price they're asking for.

We appreciate your suggestion regarding an E-ink display instead of LCD. However this would have meant the cost of our clocks would be considerably higher. If in the future, there are more E-Ink manufacturers on the market these costs may reduce. As a small business we are not able to currently take advantage of higher discounts to that of larger companies.

Puzzle piece seemed warped and doesn't…
Puzzle piece seemed warped and doesn't lay flat. This makes it difficult to put the neighboring pieces into place. For a patient who has dementia, this is extremely disturbing as he would like to feel accomplished. This is impossible with this puzzle.

Just bought one for my Father-in-law…
Just bought one for my Father-in-law who was still struggling along with his FM radio. He needed better reception and simple controls due to sight loss. He is very happy he can now listen to a couple more channels which have the kind of content he wants to listen to. The unit does seem expensive for a simplified radio, but it has made his life easier. He commented today that it would be useful to have a carry handle, for when he moves it between rooms (on battery power). So maybe that could be considerd

Amazing customer service.
I ordered a dementa friendly radio for my mother - unfortunately her room doesn’t have a good signal and she got very frustrated with it on first listening. I asked to send it back and then realised either the care home had thrown away the box or my mother had destroyed it. I explained this to customer services. Amazingly I was given a refund and told to donate the radio to someone who could use it ( the dementia ward upstairs are so grateful , given to someone with no family ). So fantastic customer service and a welcome surprise. Thank you Samantha and the team.

Loved the puzzles and word search
Loved the puzzles and word search. Unfortunately, I think the word search may be too difficult for who I purchased it for. I gave 4 stars because the packaging on one of puzzles appeared to be used.

Excellent and friendly service. My dad loves the reminder clock. It's given him a new lease of life and greater independence. The Marble Maze Circuit Game was also a big hit. Highly recommended!

I purchased the clock for my mother who…
I purchased the clock for my mother who has dementia. She loves it. Many times she does not know if it’s morning or night time. Having the clock display say it is morning or afternoon or evening helps. Also displaying the day of the week has helped her.
