Rentola is an absolute disgrace! They scammed me out of €39 for a so-called "service" and now have the audacity to refuse a refund. It’s a blatant money-grab, and their customer service is a joke. Abhinav, the so-called "customer service" rep, was beyond useless. His emails were rude, dismissive, and made it painfully clear that Rentola is nothing but a sham. This company doesn’t care about its customers—they’re only interested in scamming people and taking their money. How are they even allowed to operate?! Rentola is a scam through and through, and Abhinav should learn how to treat people with basic respect. Avoid this platform like the plague!

I only registered to view a property (£1 fee), and there was no mentioning of a recurring subscription of £35. I received no emails, notifications or reminders about this. When I contacted customer service email to cancel the subscription, they refused to refund my money! The only way to cancel it is on a computer and not on your device(phone) when you paid the £1 for a trial! Basically a scam! Money grabbing company! I do not recommend this service. Stay away!

Awful experience.I regret the day when i found this website.Paid 1 euro to message a landlord it sent me immediately to another website and it didn't want to open.I didnt use the website after that.A week later i recive a message from my bank that 39 euros are charged for rentola service.I didnt get any warnings that the 1 euro i paid is trial subscription and that is coming to an end and that i will be charged 39 euros.Immediatly after that i canceled my subscription.I read online that they have a good customer service.So i send them an email and politely explained the situation and asked for refund.2 days have passed no response from them.The service they offer is awful.They send you to more trustworthy websites which in my case didnt even open.And they charge 39 euros for this? In short therm this website is scam and what they are doing is pure robbery.They dont have any listings of their own.They are just puting listings from other websites and try to convince you to pay 1 euro so that they can charge 39 euros a week later.

This is an absolute scam, do not fall for it. They are exploiting vulnerable people. As someone who lives in Oxford it was immediately obvious the prices posted aren’t realistic (£600 for a studio flat in Oxford city centre? If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you). They relist properties dek. Actual estate agents (even if they have already been taken off the market) and charge money to speak to estate agents, who don’t even work with them so you’ll not be able to speak to someone. Don’t waste your money or time.

It’s a spam. Don’t ever subscribe with them. In first week they charge you a pound and another week 34 POUNDS FOR NOTHING. Not even one of those landlords get back to me. DONT TRUST THEM DONT SUBSCRIBE ANYTHING!!!!!

They have multiple domains and it is not at all clear which domain you are on. I signed up for an account and verified my email address. They sent a receipt that contained no information of purchase or account or domain. The receipt was only a page of disclaimers. When I tried to login with the information of the account I just created, I wasn't able to. That made me think something went wrong when creating my first account so I made another account. I used this for 2 days and then cancelled the free trial period because I realized this was not going to work for me. After I week, I was charged 50€ for a subscription. I immediately contacted them, they told me I had two accounts and I only cancelled one of them. I explained the situation and what happened and how all their communication was unclear they had multiple domains and I had actually created two accounts on two different domains. Nothing in any of their communication indicated this. They refused to refund the charge and make this right. I think they know this happens and they do this on purpose. This is the only business that sends a receipt with no information about the purchase, name of the charge, the charge amount, the account that was created, and a link to the website the account was created on to generate the receipt. All that information would have been helpful to identify the domain AND is standard for any reputable business to do. It appeares Rentola does not do that in order to scam people out of at least one monthly charge. After reading the reviews, it seems this happens a lot and yet they don't do anything to fix it.

My trial subscription on rentola.com was started in 22 May 2024 and 7-day trial period was over on 29 May. I couldn't have benefit of rentola cause landlords are not willing to work with students. As soon as I realized this situation I requested a cancellation through an e-mail from Rentola.
Although the trial period is over Mr. Abhinav made an exception and removed the unpaid bill and ensured no further payment collections will be made. He also cancelled the subscription so that I don't get charged again.
I appreciated this approach as an excellent way of customer satisfaction. Thank you...
