Got a replacement machine quickly as the old one wasn’t repairable. However, a follow on engineer appointment wasn’t cancelled after receiving the replacement and had to cancel it ourselves, but then had a new drum delivered which we are stuck with for a couple of weeks.
I had a very good response when I booked my washing machine to get a repair Delt with and have someone coming out next week which is why I am giving Domestic and General five stars for being very helpful P.Hennessy.

The machine I had was an LG and was 18 years old. I had paid the mknthly premiums since I bought it which went up as the machine got older. When doemestic and general decided they could not repair the machines offered were Samsung and Hisense and the models on checking were older models with list price approx £379. When I called and explained they did add an LG but this was too deep. We were offered another LG but were asked to pay £110 in addition. We did do this but felt it was a little bit of piss take with the ammount they had collected ovet the years. We had only had an engineer out once before. So we have opted out of the insurance for now this time.

I cancelled my plan paid for the month , called them to sort the washing machine that keeps leaking- they said i wernt in when I was and cancelled the plan so now I am left with a washing machine that they have made worse! Its cheaper to get home content insurance then it is to go with domestic and general!
The engineer said they will do everything but replace the machine in my case they choose to put me and my family at risk of a house fire. Now this washing machine short circuits the house after last engineer visit and leaking worser than before.

Replacement from AO had a massive hole in the side of the box along with edge of box crushed and few extra holes, they sent a replacement, told me one company will deliver and another will pick up but it was just one carrier service anyway just threw me off but then discovered that this box was closed back up with sellotape not popped in tape to then notice there was a pre-existing customer name and address label on the box indicating this had been Returned whilst on the phone to customer service AO they asked me to open it see if I was happy with this product upon opening it half of the product was missing so I've been sent another replacement fair enough the boxes better condition but my delivery label was just put over the top of someone else's name and address again leaving me with the impression this is another return item which I don't deem acceptable, if this product is not sufficient enough to run where would I stand on warranty with the other four of if this product was Returned and say checked over correctly like the one before it should have been and then they would have noticed missing items from the box it also leaves me with big doubts with AO company to even selling so-called new products because now been delivered at least 2 secondhand and the first was clearly damaged with the sound of rattling

Happy with the repair. Michael and Gary did a great job restoring the laptop. It looks good as new. Had no problems with the collection and pick up. Just wish there had been better communication from regarding the overall length of the repair.

I had a few issues where my old fridge was concerned said I would receive a voucher due to what I had to experience loosing so much food inwhich I haven't received yet .... regarding the new fridge everything went very well good customer service very pleased

We paid for a collection of the old machine and recycling. We made a point of saying the new machine would have to go down external stairs and therefore the old machine would have to go up them. One man was sent and immediately said he couldn't take the old machine on his own. Several calls (from us) later we were told that they wouldn't be able to take the old machine at all so we are left to make our own arrangements. On the positive side, the new machine was delivered and fitted as expected.
