Tumble dryer repair

Matthew and Pete came out to fix my tumble dryer and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Both were very efficient, polite, and tidy while carrying out the repair. They explained everything clearly and got the job sorted quickly. Excellent customer service from start to finish — would definitely recommend The Repair Guys

Samsung sent this company out to fix my…

Samsung sent this company out to fix my washing machine in which they did but have caused another problem with the machine that was never there before the repair, once reported he came back and was very rude and said there’s nothing he can do, I went back to Samsung and they sent him out again, he turned up with his mate who he never introduced and had attitude on him the minute he walked in the door, talk about feeling threatened in your own home, still machine leaking water all over my floor but according to mathew this is normal, his solution was to keep the door shut. Please be aware of this man, as soon as you ask question his attitude starts.

Hi we are sorry that you have not had the repair journey that you would have expected. From Matts notes, I can see that the issue you have reported is the water shot hose dripping the excess water left in it after use. If the door is closed after unloading, the water stays within the drum and is unnoticed. Matt spoke directly to the Samsung technical team regarding this matter and they have advised that this is perfectly normal and there is no "fix" to stop it. If there was, we would have supplied the parts to resolve it. With regards to Matts "mate", this was another of our engineers who is on a training day with Matt who is our Engineering Manager and regularly undertakes training with the other engineers to upskill them and ensure we do the best job possible. I will reinforce with the engineers that they introduce themselves upon arrival but they would usually do this as standard practise. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to call in to our admin team. Regards, Repairguys

The staff did their best to arrange the…

The staff did their best to arrange the appointment at a time that was possible for me as the appointment times are within normal working hours and I work full time. Once this was sorted, the communication was good and the engineer (Ricky) was great. Thanks for fixing my TV.

Samsung TV saved from landfill!

The level of service that Repairguys have provided from start to finish has been fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable staff and provided a couple of quotes based on the possible fault with my TV. There's a collection and drop off service available which I took them up on, which was by Scott one of the technicians. TV was repaired in their shop in Exeter. I was contacted with the actual fault and total repair cost which matched the initial diagnosis, so all good and no surprises with the final invoice. I am relieved that my 4 year old Samsung TV has been given a new lease of life and saved from the scrap heap, not adding to landfill. I will certainly recommend Repairguys to friends and family 👍

My Samsung TV needed a new panel

My Samsung TV needed a new panel under guarantee. Scott came and initially diagnosed the issue. He returned the following week to fit the replacement panel. Very good service all the way from Scott. Always gave me an ETA of arrival, which was handy. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

Feel very happy that our freezer has…

Feel very happy that our freezer has been repaired and by the service we received from The Repairguys via Samsung.
Although this was the third visit necessary to complete the repair, and it was a long 3 hour appointment to do the work needed, we were happy with Matthew and the communication we had throughout.

Scott must have a magic wand because…

Scott must have a magic wand because when I turned the tv on in front of him the problem had gone away. He did say that Samsung had issued an update. He fixed the sound bar problem by looking and changing the location of the HDMI cable on the tv.

Matthew is a master of his trade

Matthew from The Repair Guys came to fix my dishwasher. I’m not the expert here but I don’t think it was an easy fix and it took a lot of fault finding to get to the point where he could resolve the issue and fix the appliance.
I watched him take the unit apart with practiced ease as he delved further and further into the component parts. Not only did he fix the machine, his root cause analysis identified errors made during the install which contributed to the machine becoming faulty and they were also rectified. Everything was fixed and put back together in no time.

As well as his obvious professionalism and expertise, he was very polite and respectful, not to mention, a contortionist as he had to get into some awkward positions whilst taking the machine apart.

I only have positive comments for Matthew.

My washing machine started knocking

My washing machine started knocking. In less than a week it had been diagnosed, new part ordered, fitted and machine tested. Matthew and Peter were both consulate professionals who knew their trade. Very highly recommended.

First class service from beginning to end.…

We were kept informed of the time of arrival and have been so impressed by them.
Scott brought our microwave back and volunteered to unpacked it, put it back into position and switch it on to make sure it was ready for use for us. As two elderly people we have been immensely thankful for the first class service we have received. We couldn't possibly expect more. Thank you so much.

very professional and polite

Matthew came this morning to see what was wrong with my tumble drier. He was very prompt. He managed to find the fault very quickly but unfortunately had to order a new motor.
Matthew was very polite and chatty.
I was very impressed with the livery on the his van. It looked very smart and professional.
