Absolutely fantastic service

Absolutely fantastic service, the gentleman name is mick, outstanding service, he polite friendly and helpful and funny husband company while doing his work was so nice, he explained everything he was doing to car.
Outstanding service from repair today, I would recommend repair today to family and friends, when he finished his work, my car looked brand new again.
Job well done.

Hi

Does anyone have the email address for this company? They're website is not loading. I only have a telephone number that is never answered. They have had my Samsung Tab since last September. I have asked for it to be returned but despite promises, they still have it. Has anyone ever visited the premises?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I paid online for repair to my iPhone and iPad. After weeks and weeks of no response to my numerous voicemails and emails, i eventually get an message saying that due to health issues they will not be repairing my iPhone and iPad and will be sending them back and refunding my money. 2 months later and I have been sent them back but no refund. I am going to have to take this to small claims court. I understand health issues can cause problems but this is crazy. 139.99 has effectively been flushed down the toilet.

Shocking and blatant lies

I sent my phone in over a week ago after paying upfront. I sent the phone registered post for which it was signed for. I heard nothing at all from them. So i have emailed and called. I did get through on one occasion and I explained my son has special needs and needed his phone. I was told it will be back either Monday or Tuesday of this week. Guess what nothing at all has arrived not even an email or phone call. I tried ringing and emailing again and nothing. False advertising and non existent customer service. I hope these get investigated by trading standards or even BBC rogue traders.

Thank God for chargeback.

Ordered a repair last Friday, paid upfront. No contact at all from them Monday or Tuesday; not going to risk sending my tablet to a company that won't even respond to tell me where to send it! Emailed for refund Wednesday as I'd bought a screen elsewhere. No reply by Friday, so tried to call, only to find the website opening hours are untrue. Chargeback filed with the card company (always, ALWAYS use a credit card online!)

I appreciate you've had family trouble, which is why I gave you a chance despite negative reviews, but this is not acceptable. I need my tablet to work, and you need to stop advertising if you're not able to keep on top of your work.

Advice to those below affected, contact your card company. It may be below £100, but you can still do a charge back. I suggest you pay the shop a visit if you're near Oxford too if they still have your item, or the small claims court will definitely make short work of them.

A scam - Beware

Sent my goPro to have the LCD screen repaired last September (2016). They took payment upfront on my credit card £99.99 (Just below the credit card protection limit of £100 - I'm sure no coincidence) posted my camera off to them. Its now January 2017 and no sign of my money or my camera. Repeated emails and phone calls ... I did get one dodgy badly spelled reply but then nothing. THIS IS A SCAM, do not use this company. I have since reported them to trading standards. AVOID

Repairs UK experience

They had my phone for 7 weeks and were unable to fix it. During this time, I had to call to check the phone had arrived with them and then had to call & email on several occasions to get updates. In the end, they agreed to send the phone back and after another 3 weeks of emailing and phoning I was refunded in full. Another company carried out the repair in under 24 hours.

Bunch of crooks

This company has had my phone 12 weeks now. They have made no attempt to contact me regarding its progress and every time i chase it with them they fob me of with "it will be with you tomorrow" or "were awaiting parts".
Their phone is never answered when i call and emails are only replied to sporadically. I am now perusing the recovery of my phone via trading standards.

Stand By Their Work!

I had a Nexus five with a badly cracked screen and sent it to Repairsuk to get it fixed. It came back good as new, and then two weeks later the newly repaired screen got lines in it randomly and became unresponsive. I thought I was totally out of luck and this company had done a bad job. Contacted them to complain and they took it back, repaired it for free and sent it back in 48 hours! Fantastic job and this time it's been great with no problems. The fact that they were willing to fix it for free the second time was a true rarity these days. They will have all my future business and I recommend them without hesitation.

Awesome service

What a great service. I've had bad experiences with repair companies before, however I can't recommend repairs uk enough. My 5yr old daughter is autistic and relies on her iPad to help her communicate. We are due to take her on a 16hr flight shortly and needed a quick competent repair. After a quick email to Ken it was all organised and they repaired and returned my daughters iPad in a very quick turn around. I am extremely pleased with the repair and quality of service and knowledge this company portrays. I will definetly be using them for all my repairs in the future.

Excellent Service

Admittedly after seeing all of the poor reviews was dubious about using this company, but I took a gamble as I desperately need my phone repaired and I was quite pleasantly surprised. It only took 2 weeks to repair my LG G3 phone which had a smashed up screen. They even responding to my queries "out of office hours" Cannot fault the repair and customer service.

no customer service whatsoever

galaxy note tablet with cracked screen. after 3 months, 3 emails ignored completely, 6 phone calls where they said they were waiting for parts and promised to call call back but not once did they. gave up and asked to be returned, to be fair it arrived in 2 days although i still havent got a refund. will give them a week then start small claims court action i think. much the same as a lot of the reviews, steer clear. i only used them as they were close to me so i dropped the tablet in rather than posting, but never again.

We received your device from yourself in December. So although it was taking longer than most of our repairs do, it was 2, and not 3 months. We had explained to you that the part we were awaiting was currently out of stock. Unfortunately when this happens, all we can do is wait, and keep you informed. We are very sorry that it took this amount of time, and understand that a lot of people need these for work etc. We are always working on ways to cut waiting times down, but at times they are also out of our hands.

Took months to NOT repair and I had to do all the chasing- steer clear

Once my money was in their account nothing happened. I never got confirmation of the repair status, when I rang they promised updates or a refund which didn't materialise, the parts were always coming in next week! Several times i was told they would repair or refund in the next few weeks, then a few weeks later having heard nothing from them we repeated the same story when I rang again. At no time did they contact me to give me an update or keep any of the promises they made until, under threat of formal action they finally sent me back the broken tablets. Even then I had to chase again for a refund. 7 yes 7 months to achieve nothing. The feedback from other customers unfortunately shows this is a company which is very hot and miss on service . You have been warned

It's unfortunate that you have felt the need to leave a review like this. Your repairs was for replacement screens on 2 Asus T100s. We made you aware before these were sent into us, that these screens were an issue, and that many tend not to work, as all revision numbers are different. Personally I had spoken to you myself three times in regard to these, and offered to return them at every point if you didn't want to wait any longer, and at every point you were happy to wait, as no where else was offering the service either.
These devices have now been made unavailable to book in for repair on our website, due to this issue with screens.

Repair of Galaxy Note 2

I have a Galaxy Note 2 which would not boot properly. I sent the phone to RepairsUK for a diagnostics. After a short while I received the phone back and it is not fixed.

The review is not negative around the fact that the phone was not fixed - as I half expected it not be - I am unhappy because during the whole process there has been no information about the service I have paid for. I have paid for a diagnostic service, but have received no diagnosis. I had expected - at the least - a note saying, "sorry, but we couldn't fix your phone" etc., but there was no response to the online contact form message I sent, nor anything in the returned package - other than the phone.

The return postage seems excessive also.

Disappointed.

Fast and professional service!

Dropped my IPhone 6 resulting in a smashed screen! Contacted this company one evening and they asked me to bring my phone in the following morning which was great as I wanted it fixed as soon as possible! 3 hours after dropping it off I received a call to say it was ready so I went and collected it straight away. Phone was fixed to an exceptional standard and works perfectly again. I would 100% use this company again and would recommend it to all my friends and family as they offer a fast, friendly and professional service.

Absolutely first-rate service

Impeccable service from start to finish. I called Repairs UK on Monday January 4 2016 for screen replacemnet for a 2012 Nexus 7. The telephone operator was charming and helpful, and I received order confirmation within minutes. I mailed the tablet from Scotland the following day. Yesterday (Thursday) I received an eMail notifying me that the repair was complete. And at 10:15 this morning my tablet was delivered, beautifully wrapped and in perfect condition.

I'm a graphic designer, and use the tablet for work purposes. I'd enclosed a letter explaining this, but never expected a 24-hour turn-around!

I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. From my own experience as a professional I would absolutely recommend Repairs UK without hesitation.

Not recommended.

I had a digitiser replaced on an iPAD Mini. The initial service was good, regular emails, and a reasonable time to return repaired iPad. I was initially pleased to have it back, but soon realised the digitiser was not as responsive as it used to be, though I was not worried about that. The problem came three months later when it stopped working. I emailed repairs UK but got no reply. I then decided to replace the digitiser myself. I found that the original glue strip had not been cleaned off, making a poor adhesion of the new digitiser. Lucky for me as it came off easily, but not good from a repair point of view. I then found the four screws meant to hold the LCD in were missing! I ordered a new digitiser, and LCD screws and now have a working iPad again, confident the job has now been done properly. Only use these as a last resort, as has been said by others.

Slow, slow, slow

I had an iPad mini screen replacement done recently. This took a long, long time - from September 7th to October 21st. The issue, apparently, was that the LCD was damaged when they disassembled it, and obtaining the Retina display was problematic. I had to chase for updates, as none were forthcoming from the company. In mitigation, the postage was refunded as a gesture of goodwill, and the repair appears sound.
