Pajtim from 1st Loft Ltd has completed many projects at my property over the last few years. Complete replacement roof and renovation. He tackled several issues and found solutions. He’s very reliable and probably the hardest working builder I’ve had here. He works long hours and gets the job done to a high standard and in time. He also completely renovated and built a loft extension next door to a very high specification. Highly recommend

Rowan out advisor was extremely professional polite and helpful. Didn't take out a quote due to personal circumstances but did not feel pressured to do so.

I had an excellent experience working with a structural engineer who displayed an exceptional level of expertise and professionalism. Their in-depth knowledge of structural integrity, load calculations, and compliance with regulations ensured a seamless process from start to finish. Yes. I have really enjoyed working with Resi on the design and planning of our Side Return Infill Extension. Past experience with Trades People left me feeling weary and distrustful, but working with the Resi Team soon made me feel at ease and excited to move to the various stages in the process. Jack my Designer, was very patient and guided me through, step by step and advising on where I could get inspiration for certain aspects of my design that I was not clear about. Those Team members on my project worked seamlessly to ensure all my queries were promptly answered and there were no delays in their response. They provided a good choice of vetted Trades for me to choose from, (such a weight off), and they were there to talk me through uncertainties, and encouraged me to ask the right questions to be able to make confident, informed decisions. My work schedule got suddenly very busy but Em struck the right balance in helping me to iron out uncertainties and just kept me moving to the next stag. She made sure I had all the information and support I needed. My Planning Approval came through today, Yippee! That's less than 2 months. Everything going great so far.
If you need support to adapt and design your dream home whilst staying in control and enjoying the full experience, I highly recommend Resi. They have a bunch of innovative, 'can do' professionals, plus great resources at your fingertips.

Thereafter, a painful, long and often mistake filled endeavour.

Poor advice on how best to approach the project from a layout, best practice and liveability perspective. The architect i appointed to replace Resi found multiple ways to make the space work better and be infinitely more liveable!
Did not understand permitted development rights for velux windows on front elevations etc.
Was not aware of local requirements for biodiversity surveys (bats), and had no expertise on hand to support in finding and arranging a biodiversity survey - waited weeks for their quote, which never came and ended up doing it myself.
Also provided poor advice on whether my PD application would need a biodiversity survey as well - they said it wouldnt be needed, but eventually was.

Drawings submitted to planning had numerous errors. One of which is the omission of a ground floor window - which has since caused significant time, effort and cost to rectify as a material change to my planning.

Think twice before appointing Resi of a perhaps more expensive local architect team, and make sure you check everything they do twice!

After putting our project on hold, Reem from Resi was assigned to us to help with our architectural drawings for our ground floor extension for a new kitchen, Reem was knowledgeable & responsive providing useful viewpoints on the saleability of our ideas in future and offering realistic views. Jack has been our account manager from the beginning of the project and he has also been brilliant checking in and being patient with our life plans putting the project on hiatus for a few months!

I had been refused by my previous submission so I new I need a company that would tune into the finer details to get my project passed. Nick from Resi was very methodical in his approach and constructed his planes not only in drawing form but in the way that he put forward new info to all previous concerns raised by planning etc. He was easy to get on with and listened to myself and my ideas through the design stages. This was a trickery pass but Nick got my projected approved. Cheers Bud!

Jack was very polite and gave a very honest view on our options . Super professional and knowledgeable as well!

The process was straightforward but I struggled to understand certain aspects. Benedita (Bene) was in charge of ensuring we were happy with the drawings before proceeding to the next step, Benedita (Bene) was extremely patient with me as was her colleague Em. I asked questions repeatedly and was never made to feel dumb. I feel happy with the way Benedita and the Resi team have worked with me so far on this project. Thank you Benedita, thank you Team!

Update provided: I'm really disappointed with Resi. They've stuck with their offer of a credit to transfer to another project within 6 months.. which is completely unfeasible for anyone familiar with buying/selling houses and renovation. All we're asking for is the money back for the service they will NOT providing as we are stopping the project. We've been penned into a corner by them to proceed to planning when we don't want to and will no longer be going ahead with the project. I'm not being harrased by party wall agreement providers and structural engineers (at a ridiculous cost vs going direct to a local company) even though we have told Resi numerous times we do not want to go ahead.

Reading other reviews about attention to detail - I'll add this as well. Our designer didn't pick up that their proposed drawing would mean the main habitable room would have no natural light and we had to tell them. It's just basic stuff.

I don't recommend using this company if you like speaking to anyone face to face on video call, as that's impossible, or you have any potentially uncertainty with whether you will extend as they are totally inflexible. You'll get to planning whether you like it or not.

We started our project with Resi and got to the initial drawings stage after the house scan. To this point they’ve been lovely to deal with.

Unfortunately the circumstances of our home have changed and we are no longer proceeding with the project as we need to move. We requested to refund the remaining contract amount that hasn’t been delivered (about 60-75%) and their response has been no and here are some credits. That’s not acceptable. We no longer require their services and want to part terms in positive standing.

Don’t take the discount deal to pay upfront because they now won’t refund us for the work we’re not having done. Ironic given the founder writes on their about us page about the bad practices in the industry.. and they’re doing just that.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Resi and was am thoroughly impressed with the high quality of their work. As a complete novice - and first time attempting any building work - I found Resi's step-by-step process, attention to detail and dedication to really enable the project. Ted and the rest of the Resi team provided a clear roadmap and, through their dashboard, outlined each phase with realistic timelines, making it easy to track progress and stay informed.

Resi's extensive network of specialists ensured that every aspect of the project was delivered to a high standard - something that the building contractors repeatedly commented upon.

The availability of help and resources throughout the project was excellent. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance, Ted and the team were readily available to provide support and guidance - and the dashboard again made things easy to communicate through. One minor drawback was that, being a London-based company, I was unable to make use of their building contractor recommendations due to my location. However, this did not detract from the overall positive experience I had with Resi. I highly recommend them for their exceptional quality of work, clear process steps, and impressive network of specialists.

The entire team have been great at helping us come up with plans for our extension project as well as a further bolt on for an Air Source Heat Pump making the process easy throughout. I must apologise as I can be a bit demanding when I work with suppliers but the team have accommodated my asks every step of the way! I'd definitely use Resi for any future planning work and recommend them to others.

Special shout out to Diego our designer, thank you for working with all of our requests and many messages. Thank you also to Jordan and the planning team, having not done this before this has been a challenging and stressful process at times so your help so far has been much appreciated.

I recently contacted Resi about a potential extension project. Although I didn't end up going ahead with the proposal, the service I received from James was fantastic. He was well prepared for our meetings and had clearly done his research. Highly recommend.

I used Resi to draw up the plans for my loft conversion and I couldn’t be more happy with them, Really helpful team ! Very easy to use website, great communication. Made the whole process no stress

Paulo Ferranti did an excellent job in designing the extension for my home. He was attentive to my preferences and made several changes to the design when needed. He also integrated his work well with other areas in Resi, including Kavi, who responded promptly to all my questions.

Used resi to design a small extension, they produced a drawing for building regulations that was completely different from that produced by the surveyor. resi’s drawing did not allow for accurate height based upon height of room and additional roof insulation. This means that building regs passed the drawing based on resi drawings and not the true height of the build.
Had to wait for building control to agree to the amendments being allowed. Resi could simply state the height of the build at the maximum value for single storey extensions and not the shorter height they used.
After complaining I got an email that acknowledged the height discrepancy but said that building control would allow for small discrepancy in heights. I would have hoped that you would need to do this.
More recently there diagrams included a roof lantern with dimensions is 1m x2m for a room that is 3.5m x4.6m, on their draws thankfully the structural engineer altered this. Better to just use a structural engineer to do your plans for you and avoid the £4000 that Resi charge for minimal work. In addition to this review the company doesn’t respect the views of their customers, they refuse to have an open conversation over the phone.
As you can see from resi’s response they are happy to identify their clients in an attempt to gas light them. As you can see poor client relationship.
