I had no clue as to where to start regards building a conversion and Resi have taken it out of my hands and made it look easy. So far it’s been informative and I have learned a lot. Resi take care of everything so you don’t have to worry. I would recommend them to anyone as a great architectural experience :)

We've been so impressed with Resi, and everything has gone so smoothly. It's difficult juggling work and a baby, so it's been a godsend to have such clear communication, next steps, and guidance.

In particular, working with our architectural designer, Maria Benedita Veiga, has been a dream. She's so detailed, and really helped us understand the process, why we had to make certain decisions etc, and we really felt in good hands.

Highly recommended!

Resi Team has been fabulous in every way, they know their stuff and most importantly are driven to ensure the client best interest comes first, once you hand them the job they take care to ensure it gets done with the least effort from the client, Especially Nick from their team is very helpful and is driven, constantly giving guidance and support.

In our case the planning permission was stuck but with their effort and constant chasing the officials they managed to get an approval in spite of objections from neighbours. Thanks to their high standards of work.

I as a consultant Highly recommend them and will use them again for all of my clients.

Good and quality work butt he will not reply within time periods

I was initially impressed by the slick platform and good communication, sadly however this was not enough to stop our house being drawn incorrectly (we paid for the full service, from survey to drawing).

As a result we were made to incur a significant sum in redo-work to address the issues, once the drawings had been corrected and reissued.

Not only did this result in us having to pay our builders to redo (the cost of new steel is eyewatering), pay for a new structural engineering review and additional project extension costs.

It also resulted in the loft volumes changing and layouts having to be altered to suit from what we had initially planned and agreed.

To top it off, the planning applications were made on the incorrect plans!

Resi are still yet to address this with us, despite many reasonable and repeated attempts to do so.

I would love more than anything to move on from this and put it all behind us and it is from desperation that I write this review, before the matter has been concluded. It sadly appears unlikely it will now be possible without Court action.

I needed planning permission to replace my front door and after some research came across Resi, who put me in touch with Nick Stockley of Design Squared Architects.

I very quickly had a consultation with Harriet who arranged for Robin to visit the house very soon after. Then Nick sorted the application with Head of Planning, Alberto.

He did everything and liaised with the Council, always checking in and following up. I never had to ask for an update as Nick kept me completely in the loop, and we got our planning permission!

It was a very smooth and easy. Thoroughly recommend.

After buying a rather run down bungalow I was looking for a company/firm to transform it and came across Resi and thought "let's see what they say". So I had an initial discussion with Heather - I am so happy I did! I have never done this sort of project before. Heather was detailed, but in plain language, and instilled confidence in me. After looking through the info Heather sent through I was convinced Resi were right for my project. Heather seemed genuinely excited for the project which really excited me! Heather was the reason I went with Resi - and so far the whole team is making me glad I did.

Nick is fast and gets what the client wants.

We could never have achieved our mid-size project (kitchen upgrade, windows upgrade and front steps) in a Grade 2 house in London without Nick and the team. The planning process is unbelievably and excruciatingly laborious and slow. Nick remained positive throughout and just kept pushing it forward for us. Thanks Nick. We managed the execution of the building project and faced serious challenges with builders recommended by another part of Resi (whom we had also carefully referenced). That does not detract from the excellent, proactive work Nick and team did to guide us through design and planning. A professional service and one where we had ongoing contact with other parts of Resi to check satisfaction throughout.

Don’t use their service, calling them incompetent is an understatement, aiming to hide that behind “online” service provider, yet a very expensive service
I learned that I was not building a virtual house.
If you do decide to use them be prepared to do most of the research yourself if possibly hold the hand of the architect for the drawings. We felt the lack of knowledge and vision and despite giving them many opportunities to acknowledge and learn we gave up our efforts and left Resi Team to reflect.
If I knew what I do now - NO WAY

You are still failing to a knowledge that others got planning permission to build two story extension after you failed to do that in our behalf and we got the loft conversion planning permission that you couldn’t get through another architect.
As for the pricing I absolutely disagree you are a rip off.

From my very first interaction with Nick at Resi and his team, I have had nothing but a first class experience. From the introductory sales call through to final planning approval from the council, Nick and team have kept me informed and delivered consistently on every front. They have collaborated effectively with the Council and demonstrated diligence and tenacity in their design negotiations ensuring we secured final approval with minimal compromise. We have been dealing with Nick Stockley who has been assisting us with a a new porch design/build.

Throughout the entire process we have felt in a real safe pair of hands. Nick has given us insight to hurdles that we hadn't even thought of that are invaluable. He has been quick with feedback including weekends, again, this was appreciated. He has been persistent in chasing and successfully obtaining planning permission acting on our behalf. Peace of mind is very important to us so we have had Nick fully involved with the entire process to date. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service really can’t fault. Responsive, and collaborative with the design process and accurate risk assessment of what’s likely to get approval. I got planning within 3 months and an approval for a medium risk loft conversion was grated first time. Very pleased. Thank you. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Alberto and the team have been absolutely wonderful to work with. We had some pretty strong ideas about what we wanted but Alberto came up with a design we’d never even considered and we quickly fell in love with it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing an architect.

We engaged Aly and the Resi team for advice and support on the redesign of our recent purchase. The team were incredibly knowledgeable, demonstrated their experience and suggested some great ideas before we had even officially signed up. Would highly recommend.

Our experience so far has been mixed as our initial brief was miss interpreted by the design consultant which has led to some delays in getting to where we are now. This wasn’t helped by our designer leaving the company part way through the process and would have been a smoother experience if they had allocated someone who would be on the project from start to finish. Our new design consultant has picked things up quickly though and we have been happy with the service he has provided us with. There has been some mixed communication between him and our account manager which has resulted in some confusion along the journey as to what the next steps are.

Overall it's been a very good experience working with Resi. The set-up was very easy and the process throughout has been quick, efficient and incredibly supportive. Working with the team has been great as they listened to our ideas to a tee and produced a layout that will suit us in the long term. They have made the entire journey simple. Highly recommend.
