Horrendous/fraud

Horrendous. Starting to wonder if this company has gone bust, or is about to. Impossible to reach anyone on the platform, be it via webchat (only available from 9am-5pm on weekdays, and even then they are always cancelling the chat as "no agent is available". Emails get ignored - still waiting on a response 6 months on.
Impossible to reach anyone by phone and I have been trying for weeks. I will now move my funds to another provider asap. I think this company might be a fraud.

Is this company still in business. awful customer service

Is this company still in business? certainly not customer focused. can't get a reply on email, can't get a reply on phone, chat is no online. I want out of this company. Really, in this day and age. customer support awful. now to add insult to injury their website is down from tues to wed pm, mid week, do updates w/e like most companies. Also fund performance is absolutely awful.

A massively incompetent company

A massively incompetent company. I have tried to contact them by the telephone, chat and email but get no answer. I shall now be writing to them and sending the letter in the post. It concerns me that I have pensions with these people and they are people I do not trust to be in control of my money.

Death of my daughter

My daughter passed away and as I was named on her pension I was asked to complete documents providing my personal details and to return by post. I have tried to contact Retiready to ensure they received this information. After being left holding for 50 minutes being told I had come through to the wrong department, I couldn't wait any longer. I emailed last week and received a reply someone would email me shortly with a response. I have not heard anything and tried again to contact the company to no avail so tried to speak to an agent on their webchat again being left for ages and not being connected. This is a very delicate matter and is quite distressing that I cant speak to anyone!

I have received a letter today from Retiready confirming they had received my documents which has given me peace of mind but still it would have been helpful to have spoken to some one!

Awful organisation

Awful organisation.
There customer service is absolutely useless. I transferred my pension fund to another provider but there was a problem with my personal details.
I had previously sent an email using there online contact form but no one bothered to respond so I decided to call customer service.
I spent 45 minutes waiting on the phone and when I finally got through it cut off. I phoned again and after another 42 minutes the person I spoke to was from a different department and couldn’t access my account so couldn’t help me. He took a message to pass on to the relevant department and I was told someone would contact me the following day. No one contacted me. I phoned the next day and the same thing happened, I got cut off after waiting 45 minutes and had to call again. Finally got through and was told the problem was that they didn’t have my first name only an initial. They have known this for years why hadn’t they flagged this up before? I was told they would send me an email telling me what information was required to correct this along with a return email address. I received nothing.

Awful customer service

Sent me a code to activate my online account. Immediately expired. Called them, told to go to online chat. Online chat tells me there's nothing to do and to call. Put on hold for 30m, get through, and get hung up on. Calling again, currently been 45m on hold.

Abysmal pension platform

Abysmal pension platform - try and avoid.

My employer has unfortunately chosen Aegon as their pension provider and Retiready must be the worst pension platform out there: 1. you need multiple sets of log ins to get into the platform 2. The platform doesn't indicate growth or charges in %, but only in % on a monthly basis - not sure they expect customers to tot up the numbers manually 3. All data is shown on a monthly basis for the last 6 months only and not over the lifetime of the investment. 4. And when you want information on any of the above you have to chat or call multiple people, which of course takes ages to answer. Avoid this platform like the plague

Very inflexible

Very inflexible. Cant even transfer a fund into the cash account. For proper "flexible" SIPP's I suggest looking elsewhere.

All fur coat no knickers

They merged a workplace pension based on NI number. I changed jobs. The email address I use for my main account is not the email address they have for the workplace pension (which is my ex-employer's email). Simple fix right? But I have now been waiting three months to be able to pay in and they continue to rely on an email address that no longer exists giving me no way to see or change this!!! Bunch of turkeys.

Apart from the fact they can't read…

Apart from the fact they can't read (its not Retire-ready its retire-ady or reti-ready) its doesn't improve from there.
Rude staff, poor service, phone waiting times > 30minutes, stupid security questions, and once you get in it's about as cheap as they come. They ask for all security questions over unsecured lines and complain when you comment

Probably safe but let down by poor communications

Retiready hold a small pot of non-contributory pension that was taken out by my employers when Aegon was still Scottish Equitable. I am very pleased with the performance of this fund which is way better than savings rates with a building society. Also when actually managing to speak to anyone they have been knowledgeable and helpful. However, that's as far as it goes as the rest of their customer service is terrible. In all the time I have been with them I don't think they have ever answered an online query and their communication set-up is poor. I would have opened an ISA with them on more than one occasion but failing to get any answer to simple questions I have just given up trying and gone elsewhere.

Easy platform to use but difficult to speak to a human being

I would have given this site a 5 Star review as I find the site easy to navigate and I am managing to understand how my pension works. It is simple to up my monthly contributions and its great to see how my money is working for me with how much I have put into my pension over the past 6 months and and how much this has learnt. It was simple to decrease my contributions during the pandemic as it was obviously a waste of time contributing as I was losing money not investing. I just wish I had the option to pick the phone and call somebody and talk through some of my queries as I have a bunch of questions that I would like to ask so I can understand exactly how it works. Perhaps if a knew a little more I could make it work better for me. Overall I happy with my pensions performance and I am still working on the site to find the answers to my questions.

Critical technical issues remain unfixed

I've been trying to do a transfer for months now but their system is experiencing technical errors. They have no estimate for how long this will take to fix. I have to go through this process just to get the paperwork I need, so in principal they could mail it to me to sign and return, but phone support insists this isn't possible (despite going through their security checks) and that I need to wait until the system is fixed!

Besides that, other important parts of the site such as the fund research tool that they strongly encourage you to use before attempting to switch funds have also been down for months.
