Delivery was quick and the package was well packaged, to ensure no breakage. My husband is over the moon with this re-living his youth which was spent gaming!
Amazing, fabulous, cannot recommend enough

After purchasing several cheaper consoles I decided to go for the retropia console as it 1000’s of zx spectrum games and light gun games (wanted to play point blank again). I am not disappointed at all. The games run perfectly and much more smoothly than cheaper alternatives. The choice of games is unbelievable with 10s of thousands to keep me busy. I needed help with a couple of things and messaged retropia directly and their answers were prompt and resolved everything I needed to know.
Top Quality in every department

It was easy to order on the website and easy to customise what I wanted in terms on controllers. Delivery was quick and the product was well packaged with a nice surprise inside.
So far it has worked very well and there is a huge selection of games to choose from. I bought this as a way to re experience games from my childhood in the 80s and early 90s, and it has worked really well for this.
In addition, though, it's also been fun to explore many of the other systems and games which I didn't own, maybe didn't know about, and which passed me by. This has been a pleasant surprise!
I continuing to enjoy doing both.

The Retro Boss is the retro console I have been dreaming of for decades. It has almost every game from 80's, 90's and a few early 00's. I bought it mainly for PSX and Arcade games but I'm also discovering other new games I missed over the years. It works so well with a Sinden Lightgun it's Plug and Play which is exactly what I was looking for. Defo worth every penny.

This is my third go around with retropia and tbh I can't complain, rather praise them for putting up with random requests for games I haven't played in a long time
Even though the first hard drive was a bit iffy they sent me a brand new one immediately and it's playing just fine

I wanted to get back into retro gaming. Researching I found that lots of these pre loaded boxes are basically rom dumps with duplicates and either games that don’t play or you won’t play. I bought an android super console X2 pro initially to see if I would be satisfied and low and behold I was just really disappointed as I wanted something more, a seamless experience with everything from my childhood from both arcade and consoles. Within a day of being on a cheaper box I knew I wanted alot more and purchased the Retroboss (I should have just bought it initially) I was so pleased with the customer service before, during and after buying. The team at Retropia are awesome and you can tell a lot of hard work has gone into the Batocera build on settings and game lists to ensure it’s professional and fully comprehensive plug and play. These guys know their gaming and know what games should be on the console to provide a complete nostalgic gaming experience. They even added a couple of roms that I wanted that were a bit abstract before sending it out which was a nice touch. Everything I wanted was on here. I will definitely continue to follow Retropia, recommend its products, upgrade and buy again. Thank you. I’m really pleased!

I ordered a console and asked if they could add a couple of games that weren't on the list. Retropia were happy to do so and dispatched the item very quickly. When I had a problem they were quick to help and as it turned out I needed a new part. Retropia immediately sent out a replacement and return postage label for the faulty part at no cost to me. I highly recommend retropia, they are a fantastic company.

Exceptional piece of kit.
After wanting a retro console for years, always looking but never buying. I tried a couple of the cheap tiktok shop options but they were very poor. Laggy and what seemed like a year from when you pressed a button to the input happening on screen.

So i researched for a while and decided to take the plunge with the retropia retroboss console and wow what a console it is.
First off it is so easy to set up. From the postman coming to switching in on took a matter of minutes. The controller is good quality, solid and robust with quick responsive inputs, no lag. Layout is easy to follow and find what you need.
I have only had a quick hour but tried a few games from the basic atari right the way through to bigger games like gran turismo 3 and every one worked seemlessly. Quick loading times (well quick ish after being use to the ps5 recently) but quicker that the original systems. Graphics look good on a large screen TV.
The only fault i can pick (which is nothing to do with retropia) is getting use to all the different button layouts. But i think that is more me just getting old now and not picking things up as quick as when you are a kid. Saying that the xbox style controller layout of buttons works well for all systems once you figure out which input does what.

Overall a fantastic system. Can't wait to show my little boy all my childhood games and playing them with him.

I've bought loads of these guys, last thing I bought was the Retroboss HD upgrade, fab new features, and they added an extra game at my request. Highly recommended.

I requested to swap 4 Xbox games and 2 ps2 games and they were done without issue. The only system that seems to have issues is Xbox which is strange as it’s Microsoft emulated on a Microsoft PC. The games were playable but a bit slow.
All other systems were flawless and I’m happily reliving my younger days with Carmageddon, the 7th Guest and Terminator 2 pinball. Being able to play light gun games on a modern Tv is an added bonus.

The product is amazing, I didn’t post a review straight away and give it a longer test, and the result is awesome! Customer service 100% the retro boss I purchased is just a joy to have, reliving all those golden moments from past gaming. High quality wrap around the console, solid build, I would recommend the additional purchase of the mouse and keyboard as that just adds to the experience. I’ve had the retroboss for about 3 weeks now and can honestly say it’s the best money I have ever spent, I look forward to getting home everyday to play on it, I can’t recommend one enough and retropia have been fantastic.

Ordering is easy in terms of accessories, payment etc. Delivery was Royal Mail by 1PM, signed. Packaged very well. All accessories individually packed, all contained in padded box. Also includes batteries for accessories.
Easy to follow visual instructions to set up, basically plug in and switch on. User interface great. Easy to flick between systems. Video of each game and visual of box etc is nice touch.
So far I've only played old favourites from childhood. But all worked perfectly and played well. Nice to be able to see how games developed from early consoles to later systems.
Sheer volume of games is staggering. Assume they all work. If not, there are options to contact seller and forums. Overall, delighted with this product.

Where to start.
The RetroBoss is fantastically built. The controllers are responsive. The software is a joy to scroll through and my kids easily finding thier way through it. The preview videos on every game allow you to find that N64 game your mate had but you forgot the name of, or discover gems that you never knew existed and instantly fall in love with. The catalog of games is like walking through your best childhood memories from the consoles of old. Want to relive hours in an arcade from your sofa, complete that game you never did, complete that other game for the hundredth time, you need this machine.
But it's the customer service, both before and after that sets them apart from any other iv delt with, no matter the product.
Retropia customised my game list for me, adding games I wanted, taking away game I didn't to make space. Then if there were questions, all answered, I've pestered them when I couldn't connect things, fixed instantly, couldn't find things, they found it, wanted to change things, guided me, who ever it is there answered everything, step by step, always reply within a few hours, never forgetting me no matter how many questions I asked.
My only regret is that I didn't buy sooner.
