They can't do shit here, horrible company, don't buy here, be warned!

Ordered something here in august, gets sent in oktober with (probably) the wrong mailaddress announced. I didn't get a notice from custums, so the package gets sent back to Japan. Can't get full money back, can resend it for an additional 8000 yen. Always sad to see how a customer has to turn up for others mistakes.

Still not have the package, my expectations are low, service is horrible here.

I bought quite a bit of parts from RHD and one of the clutch disks arrived with damage from the factory. I opened a help desk ticket and supplied all of the necessary artifacts and RHD was able to ship me out a new disk under Exedy's zero defect warranty program. I will remain a loyal customer, knowing that if problems arise, RHD is there to help resolve.

I was hesitant to make a hand over my hard-earned money to website I’ve never heard of on the opposite side of the planet. However, the transaction went smoothly, the communication was polite and informative; I was able to track the movement of the item from Japan to the Northeast coast of the US. Honestly, the only issue I had with my order was with the delivery driver here in the US. I now feel a lot more comfortable using this site for future purchases.

RHDJapan is an excellent store to buy your JDM Parts for your build. I have been buying parts from them since 2021 and I dont have any issues at all. They have an excellent customer service and they are more than happy to help so you can get your parts. Not only that, but they have the best prices in the market. Im really happy with this store and im going to continue doing business with them. Thanks for be the great store that you are.

It's all good until something goes wrong. I'd received small items and it was all good. I ordered a JDM part and the wrong item arrived. The return process is an exercise in futility. They will spin you in circles until you give up. For small items, thats ok. You order something like wheels, and theres a chance you may just receive the wrong item. It happened to me, and I never got my money back. The worst part, they accused me of lying. Forget these guys.

Dealing with RHD is a roll of the dice. Its not worth the 20-30% you save when you stand to lose all of your money.

I live in the states and I've got two early 90s JDM cars that I frequently buy parts for. RHDJapan and BidJDM have been invaluable resources for me.

I've had majority positive experiences over the course of spending literal thousands of dollars with this company. My most recent purchases are a set of Cusco coilovers and a Cusco adjustable panhard bar for my Starlet GT.

I've found their ticketing system actually charming in how old-school it looks and their support staff to be helpful. I'm often pretty surprised by how especially well packed the used items I get from BidJDM are.

I was a little surprised to see some of these negative reviews but, without trying to sound dismissive of others' experiences, I feel like a lot of the negative impressions can be boiled down to incorrect expectations from this service. RHDJapan is not Amazon or Summit Racing. Shipping times can be long and if you, like me, are buying parts for a 30+ year old car, you can sometimes find that you order an item only to find it discontinued or with a longer than expected lead time. Once items are in hand, you are usually getting them shipped overseas which comes with all the fun of shipping times and possible customs issues. Once you finally have your items, you have a lot of stuff from companies that don't have a huge US or European presence. There often isn't a whole lot of manufacturer support options or warranty support easily found. Returns can also be tricky due to the previously mentioned overseas shipping.

Plan out your build. Plan out your purchases and plan them out ahead of time. It's easy to get spoiled with all the near instant delivery services offered nowadays but that is a pretty recent development. Set your expectations accordingly and I think you'll find RHDJapan as useful as I do.

Very fast shipping and great customer service! Had a money issue and it got resolved that same day. Couldn’t recommend them anymore for importing.

Total ripoff with bait and switch pricing to increase by $200 after order. Then if you try to cancel because of the price increase you will pay a huge fee. The shipping was not known at the time of order and that was also overpriced. Their target is foreigners as they don’t sell to Japan and Japanese know better about the pricing. I even doubt RHD Japan is a Japanese owned company with the lack of ethical practices they have. Got me once and never again. It’s amazing how foreigners outside of Japan have no idea and just happy to have JDM part out of desperation.

I wish I came here first to check on this company and never thought there would be such a ripoff company in Japan. It is so surprising that some people have good comments so they keeping this company in business just because they can get lucky getting parts from Japan. There are many other better ways but they don’t know how to use Google translate. Yeah, they are willing to ship worldwide making money on everyone as they ripoff customers in every way. So sad. They don’t stock anything but say it is in stock. It took over 3 months and was projected for 6 months due in. Dare you cancel as they hope you do so they can charge you the outrageous fee.

You have been warned.

I am very happy with the (NC) MX5 Fender Brace and the customer service. RHDJapan was upfront about how long it would be before it would ship. The portal makes it easy to track the shipment. Five stars.

Dont ever buy from this company. Ordered a clutch 2 months ago paid £100 for express 2 day delivery. 2 and a half weeks later it turned up and it was the wrong clutch. Took them 3 weeks to respond and send the clutch back. 2 months later they still havnt even sent me the correct clutch, tracking data just shows “label printed”. After 28 emails back and fourth and after asking for my delivery of £100 back as compensation. They just keep saying “im very sorry, we will speak with the team and get back to you”.
Awful customer service, nothing seems to get done. Feels like this is going to go on forever.

They shipped a NISMO Clutch kit. The kit arrived and the first thing I noticed when opening the box is the lack of packaging. 0 bubble wrap, 0 protection. Went to have the clutch kit installed on my car and the mechanics informed that the flywheel trigger plate was warped. Contacted support supplying them a video for proof and they refused to refund or initiate a return or replacement. STAY AWAY. Will be uploading a video to YouTube titled "RHD Japan Damaged Clutch - NISMO COPPERMIX"

Made my second order with RHD Japan, this time it was a larger item. Fast shipment & delivery. Great communication, I asked them if my Item was in stock before ordering it & they replied very quickly to me.

For sure I'm going to do more orders with them.

RHDJapan is the best company to buy car parts from Japan period. Largest selection of goods, best prices, and fastest most transparent shipping. All the people complaining about fees and wait times do not understand how this works.

Terrible company. Takes forever to respond to messages. Shipping is a speed is a lie. They will not refund your money. Do not buy from this company.

Great price and service

Wrong prices on their website, after payment come back and demand more money. Allow you the option to cancel but then will refuse to give your money back or tell you that you need to pay 6,000 yen to do the bank transfer when it is their own fault. This is theft and a scam. They have $1,000 of mine and wont return it.
