The only things which I would fault are
The only things which I would fault is that
1) internet reception was very poor and often non existent . I realise that we are on water but it is not as if we are far from both Norwich & Great Yarmouth so I would have expected it to be better .
2) TV reception also was virtually non existent . I wonder if a better quality TV aerial could be supplied on each boat ?
However I would not mark down our experience because of these two issues , they did not spoil the holiday for the adults , they just miffed the children in the evenings .

I’m sorry to read you had issues with the free Wi-Fi we provide on board as well as the television reception. I can understand this is frustrating, however areas of the Broads are particularly remote, and signal for the Wi-Fi relies on EE mobile signal so this can vary throughout the area. TV signal can also vary throughout the Broads, however I’m unsure as to whether or not your TV aerial was operating correctly. I hope you reported this to the team so that we could attempt to rectify this for you.

Great holiday
Great holiday. One snag with boat engine but sorted as fast as possible.
I would go for a boat with side thrusters next time as we saw how much easier it makes the handling of the boat while docking.

Boat was OK but had problems 2 faulty lights and a faulty cooking ring on the gas hob we over come these problems but they could have done better/cooker problem was only found on the last day of the holiday should have been checked

Fantastic company, great staff, great boats.
I love Richardsons. From the minute you arrive to book in to when you get to drive your boat in they are friendly and helpful. They show you to your boat where you get a driving lesson and rundown of the boat.
We have stayed in both a budget and premium boat and everytime they were spotlessly clean with fully fitted kitchen and welcome pack.
Yes the beds are as hard as bricks, in fact harder but they are comfy and clean.
I can't rate Richardson's Boating holidays high enough, give em a try

A brilliant 5 days boating on the broads!
And it's something we will do again, Richardson's staff were very helpful when collecting and bringing the boat back. The boat was clean, clean bedding and everything explained to us.
The boat was a little 'tired' but did the job and now know what to expect next time with regards to places to go, filling up with fresh water etc and what to take with us (as I'm sure everyone takes too much the first time!).
The map provided was just right for navigating the broads and next time we will make the southern broads. One thing that would be handy is a guide to help where the best places are to moor up, how many berths available, water available. As we went peak season sometimes it was very busy and not always easy to find somewhere.
Overall, would thoroughly recommend.

We do provide a ‘Welcome Aboard’ guide each year. You can either pick up a free copy of this at the boatyard or view it on our website. For 2018, we have combined our ‘Welcome Aboard’ guide with our brochure so that before you come on holiday with us you can browse destination guides and much more. We do also have a ‘What to Pack for a Boating Holiday’ guide available on our website.
I do understand that in peak season it can often become busy on the Broads, and so in this situation I would recommend mooring early to secure your desired spot for the night!

We had a great holiday (the weather …
We had a great holiday (the weather helped in the end). The boat we hired was very clean and tidy. An older boat but we knew that on booking, it had however undergone a refurbishment in recent years making it a nice place to be.
Our only issue on throughout the holiday was when it rained heavily on the first two days and we had water leak in through the bow Windows, I gave up calling the helpline after a dozen attempts and used gaffer tape to temporarily repair the leak until the good weather returned.
All in all a good holiday.

Richardsons were brilliant. We Had an amazing time thanks to them.
Richardsons were brilliant, efficient, friendly and great value for money, we only had their cheapest boat but it was clean and worked perfectly. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. When we brought the boat back we received nearly £100 fuel refund due to not using too much. We also paid a small amount extra for a sailing dingy, so much fun. Highly recommended company, we will use them again. We had a GREAT time.

Brilliant Holiday!
Had our first experience of a Richardsons boating holiday this August after a recommendation from a friend.
Myself and my partner hired Symphony 4 and we loved our little boat.
Such a laid back enjoyable experience!
