One-day delivery took longer but everything else was superb.

I ordered a spare part for my MTB that I, to my surprise, couldn't source locally. Richardsons had it! Seeing as that company has a few physical stores as well, I took it as a fairly credible business and ordered the part online.
The dispatch took a a day or so, but it was quite fast and I had good tracking of the shipment all the way from the UK to Sweden! Naturally, the freight took about 2 weeks all-in-all, including customs clearance. I received the part in good order, well packaged! No complaints!

Ordered a couple of suspension fork lockout components from Richardsons as they had good availability given older parts, fair pricing and offered free next working day delivery on the value my purchase - partly the reason for choosing to buy here.
Ordered Sunday, parts shown as dispatched to Evri on the Monday as expected.. (assuming for delivery Tuesday) .. they did not arrive until Thursday and were left wedged half in/out of letterbox, no attempt made to actually hand over safely. Fortunately they were undamaged and as expected.

Good gear at the right price

Took my son's mountain bike to the Huntingdon branch with extremely squeaky brakes that didn't work effectively. I was told the brake pads needed replacing and the brakes bleeding. We collected the bike for a weekends mountain biking and the brakes were in exactly the same condition and I was charged £45.
We took the bike back in and explained the brakes weren't any better and asked them to have another look. Two weeks later I had no updates or contact so contacted the branch. I was told the bike was being looked at the following day! The following day I was told the bike was ready for collection. When I asked what work had been done I was told that the pads had been replaced. And it would cost me £40. I explained they had replaced the pads three weeks previously so why was I being charged for this again and why did they even need replacing again. The mechanic said he didn't know what had been done previously and had no explanation as to what was going on. I wasnt charged again but it felt as if they didn't know what they were doing, were very very slow in there customer service and tried conning me either on the first or second occasion. I won't be using the Huntingdon branch again and would suggest others don't either

I have always gotten the best service and support from Richardson Cycles. We bought my bike there new, and I bring it in each year to get serviced. I always have gotten great advice on lights, and tires, and other upgrades from the main mechanic. It really is a great place for bikes, parts, maintenance, and advice.
