Rickshaw Travel (AUS) Reviews 

Rickshaw Travel put together a number of short tours for us. The experience was mostly memorable with surprisingly few problems. Catching busses with Cruz del Sur can be challenging - the overnight bus from Nazca to Arequipa was particularly disorganised at the boarding stage in Nazca.
The highlight of our tours was the homestay on Amantani Island on Lake Titicaca, plus the stops on the Uros Islands and Taquile Island. Absolutely fascinating cultures and such warm, friendly people.
People do need to be aware that flying over the Nazca lines can mean a lengthy delay if the weather isn't great first thing in the morning. It was very frustrating seeing people arrive mid morning and go straight up. We had an almost five hour wait at the airfield and there is absolutely nothing to do there. Our guide, Raul, made up for it with a couple of great tours in the afternoon but we were time limited by then and had to miss some places.
Would definitely recommend Rickshaw Travel to look after you in Peru.

My husband is a Vietnam vet and I waited years to explore Vietnam, it's culture and people. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed. The country although must to hot for so many was to my liking, the people were most thoughtful and kind and the food was different but quite tasty ( I even ate reptiles and insects ) it was interesting. My ability to access many of the places I had only heard about like The DMZ, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh Trail was facilitated by some of the best drivers and guides in Vietnam. Can't thank my agent enough for tending to all the details so my trip was stress free and I loved it. It had plenty of down time so I was able to relax and do things like mingle in the streets with the locals. I am giving serious consideration to visiting Vietnam and Cambodia again and will use Rickshaw travel and Matthew Miller to ensure my trip is once again a very special time with all my needs met.

Have used this company twice to travel to Vietnam and found the staff amazing. They are very helpful and did everything they could to make our trips stress free and memorable. Would definitely use them again.

This was the first time we used this online service and I would definitely recommend it. The itinerary , Vietnam on a Plate, suited us to a tee and everything unfolded and happened as was expected .The accommodation was really good and again suited our style of travel. The local guides were great and we felt well looked after. The online service and follow up was friendly and on the mark (Kate). We would not hesitate to book with this service again.

It was very easy to communicate with Rickshaw Travel and they answered all my questions promptly. The booking procedure was straight-forward and everything went according to plan once we joined the tour in Saigon. We had an interesting and enjoyable tour with a great group of people.

We used Peru online to organise an 18 day trip through from Lima to La Paz. The consultant was responsive as we planned the trip - and changed our minds a number of times. Every transfer worked perfectly and the staff on the ground were helpful and knowledgeable. Where we had small group activities planned (to the Colca Canyon and Machu Pichu) the guides were excellent. The hotels were all fine - we used 2 - 3 star and they were clean and well located. For us (60+ travellers) the mixture of independence and doing our own things when we arrived at places combined with the security of knowing the hotels were booked and transfers, buses and flights arranged was perfect.

Have used this mob twice and would use them again. They try their best to understand your wants and needs to ensure you get the right holiday package. Everything we were promised was delivered, everything ran like clockwork. Local guides and drivers were superb. We had a wonderful experience in a beautiful country and would recommend Cambodia online to anyone considering a trip to Cambodia.

My partner and I are not ones for organised travel but I have to say the Module system and the honest and approachable staff are excellent. No question was dismissed and the very quick turnaround to questions and the openness to make suggestions was valued. I particularly like the commitment to keep money in the country (in our case Vietnam) and I will most certainly use them again.

From first point of contact on line to organise trip, everything was planned perfectly, including follow up when we returned from our trip.

We enjoyed the flexability of an inderpendant tour.I would only travel 1st class train in India as we found 2nd and 3rd very confronting and the bunks rundown .
The drivers and accommadation were excellent .some of the guides only intrested in their tips and taking us to shops.other.guides were great and enjoyed sharing their knowledge and experiences .All the arrangements went like clockwork.This was our 2nd trip with Rickshaw .
