Dijon was the best!

My fiance and I went in the Bozeman store to purchase an engagement ring. Dijon helped us and was so kind and so full of information, we were lucky to have met him. We looked at 3 stores and bought from Riddles because of him. Thank you Dijon for being such a great help!

Fishy Jeweler, Doesn't Buy Their Own Stones

My husband asked our college daughter to buy me a pair of earrings as a gift. When I opened them, they were not my birthstone. I took them to another Riddles store that was closer to me and asked to have my birthstone put in. Riddles refused to buy back their stones. And after quoting me over $300 to put in my birthstone (citrine, not even topaz) & telling me it would take 8-12 weeks to do the work; they called me an hour after I left the store and demanded I pick up my earrings as they would no longer do the work, nor accept responsibility for my property if not picked up immediately. Do Not Shop Here!

I have always appreciated the help I have received at Riddles Jewelry in Rimrock mall. Joan is so kind and helpful. Their repairs in store have been professional. A young man was being trained, and he was extremely kind and helpful. If he didn’t know the answer to a question he found out. I certainly appreciate the care and friendliness of these employees. BEWARE, incompetent jewler

4 items purchased have issues!!! BEWARE!

I recently purchased 3 rings and had a custom set of earrings made. All four items came back with issues.

First, the jeweler missed a diamond on my pave band; the diamonds aren't that small, and it should have been obvious to her "trained" eye.

Second, the photos included in the review show damage to a baguette diamond. The damage is visible to the naked eye, again, something the jeweler should have caught.

Third, all 3 rings were well over a size 5, the lady at the counter argued with me till they pulled the tool out to test it.

Fourth, I commissioned a pair of custom earrings, specifically requesting yellow gold to match my other earrings. Unfortunately, they were made with white gold instead, and my partner gifted them to me so long after the purchase that I'm unsure if they can be fixed.

I went in for a battery replacement on…

I went in for a battery replacement on one watch, and links added to the band of another watch. Hailey R assisted me, she was very pleasant, actually greeted me with a smile as I entered. She competed the project in amazing time and detail. She was great!

elk ivory ring

I ordered an elk ivory ring, made from my own ivory tooth and it is absolutely stunning! Took about a month and a week to get it, that includes sending my ivory to them. I contacted them twice to check the status and customer service was right on top of things and gave quick responses both times. Will be shopping with them again for sure! Soooo beautiful! Great company!

Horrific Experience-Ongoing

My engagement ring was purchased in 2009 with a lifetime warranty if it is checked and cleaned every 6 months. I have done this up until the pandemic when the stores were closed. The Kearney store where the original rings were purchased had a computer malfunction and lost all information on our purchases and the timeline of the ring check ups. This past weekend I went to the Hastings store to have my ring inspected and cleaned and the employee did not sign the document stating my ring was deemed fine after inspection. I immediately noticed this while leaving the store, went back to have it stamped and signed, and he refused. He said there had been a lapse in the check ups. Although my ring was in perfect condition, still he refused to sign and stamp the document...rendering my life time warranty void. This is the 5th day of dealing with the regional manager, the company, and still there is no resolution. My husband and I were treated disrespectfully and I am being harassed for their employee's incompetence. This is obviously a tactic used by Riddle's to squirm out of future warranty coverage on their merchandise. They have been more than difficult to communicate with. I filed a complaint with BBB and only after that complaint was filed did anyone bother to communicate with me. Still, this matter is unresolved and I plan on contacting the CEO of the company, Brett Riddle. I am so furious at how this situation was created and mishandled by the Riddle's staff, in particular the employee, Ben, who is a snide and snarky narcissist who has no business working in costumer service. I doubt this will ever be resolved so warning! Don't do business with Riddles or you too will be given an unnecessary stressful situation that won't go away any time soon.

I had my ring tested and the diamonds…

I had my ring tested and the diamonds on top were real. When they tested the diamonds on the sides they were not real. Showed up as lab created. Im furious. We spent 8,000 on this ring and find out only four diamonds are even real. They rip people off

Very unhappy customer

I'm very unhappy with this jewelry company. I went into to the billings store today to see if they were done with my wedding ring now mind you they had broke my ring after they were supposed to resize it and my ring is still not fixed and they can not find the diamond that goes with my ring. I am extremely unhappy with there service and would never recommend them to no one. They are a crappy jewelry store and are just giving me the run around with something they should be fixing because they broke my ring and now have lost the diamond to my ring. How dare they treat a customer like this especially when they are the ones who messed up and now refuse to fix these mess up

I Poorly trained employees went into your store this morning to…

I went into your store this morning to buy a gift card. The man working told me that you didn't sell them but then asked another person behind the counter if you did. He started fumbling through drawers apparently trying to find them and finally said we do sell them but neither the other person working or I have been here long enough that we know how to ring them up. He said come back in an hour and somebody else can help you. My time is too valuable to be running around waiting for managers to come in to help me. I went to another jewelry store and they immediately helped me. Very disappointing!

Riddles stole my ring

I took my ring to riddles to up grade to a bigger diamond.. going from a half carat to a full karat.. my gold was 18k and when I picked it up. It was a diamond set in a 14k ring. They moved my jacket off my ring to the new ring. In the process they stripped my gold down to nearly nothing. I called corporate and they assured me that it was a miscommunication. Took my ring back in to get the diamond I thought I was getting. I had a vs1 E clarity diamond originally.. and the 1st diamond they put in my ring was a i/I and it was cracked.. was supposes to be getting a VS1 E in 1 karat.. the 2nd diamond costed me $850 more to get and still only ended up with an SI/I.. $5100 dollars later my diamond is gone, I have a different ring and another cracked diamond. My husband has bought from them for years. But we will never go back. Now I have to take my ring to a new Jewlery Store and hope I can get what I'm trying to buy... horrible horrible horrible frauding thieves..

I have several jewelry items from Riddle’s Jewelry. While I have no complaints about the quality of these items, I do take issue with the customer service. I have always found the staff to be less than friendly in the Watertown store. Along with that, a recent visit with a friend showed their lack of concern for someone needing to use a restroom. They indicated there is no public restroom; it is a stand-alone store, so people aren’t typically coming in off the street to use their facility. Maybe it is available to use if you are buying instead of merely checking previously purchased jewelry. On a positive note, I have had pleasant customer service from the Sioux Falls stores.

Riddles sells junk

My sister bought me. Diamond necklace for my birthday. I wore it for three days and it just fell apart. I took it to the Bismarck, ND store thinking they would just fix it as I hand t had it very long. The lady asked me if there was insurance and I told her I didn’t know as it was a gift. She looked it up and said that my sister hadn’t. I called my sister and she said she wasn’t even asked. She was snotty and told me if I wanted it fixed they would send it in and it would cost $45. What a joke! Needless to say I will never shop Riddles again as they sell junk and have horrible customer service!
