EXACTLY the same experience as previous reviewer
I just read David Sheperds review and exactly the same thing is happening to me. I pre-ordered and when they came in they forgot to send mine. So I waited and waited but I can't wait anymore it's been months and months. I've sent three emails requesting a refund. All three emails completely ignored. What is the matter with these guys.

I placed an order back in June for what I thought would be July delivery, customer services explained there were a number of delays due to Covid and that we were now looking at September. I then emailed again late August to ask if there was an ETA as I have a couple of trips planned late September, that I’m in dire need of some new hiking shoes as my current pair are falling to bits and that I may have to cancel the order if they can’t deliver in time.
I was offered a number of other colours/designs but wasn’t keen, however my plans changed slightly so I waited another week or two. Plans have since changed again, so I’ve emailed customer services explaining that I am unable to wait any longer and I would now like a refund because I’ve had to source footwear elsewhere.
That email was sent 8 days ago, I’ve since sent 2 further emails - I’ve had no response to any of them..

You guys are amazing !! I’ve ordered 4 pairs of different boots and people can’t stop talking about them ! Up here in Canada you don’t see a lot of your shoes up here .. super comfy and I’ll be a customer for life !! Thanks guys !

It seems I can't do a zero star review, so 1 it is. Ordered a pair of shoes on 12/3/21 for an expected May delivery. Emailed them on the 5/6/21 and was told they were expecting the delivery at the end of June, due to the pandemic and global situation. Fair enough said I.
End of June came and went, still no shoes. I emailed for updates on 8/7 and 15/7 but no reply until August 2nd. According to the website they will try to reply within 24 hours.
So on August 2nd I was informed that the delivery should arrive at their warehouse in late August and then be shipped on. Carly offered 'super apologies' in the email, I found that very touching.
So it's September 10th an still no shoes. Not once have Ridgemont contacted me unprompted to advise of delays. I paid them 6 months ago. I was able to order new window frames and glazing and have it installed in half that time.

Not happy with the time it took
Not happy with the time it took. Ordered a pre order early May with stated early June expected delivery. Changed order in September because they still didn’t have shoes and got a pair I don’t like as much because the ones I ordered I would not have received till October. Shoes are ok heavier than I would like and they run small

Still no shoes after 2 months of waiting!
I ordered some shoes in May. Customer services responded to a request for an update in June saying I’d have them in July, it is now August and I still don’t have them. I sent another email to customer services a few days ago and I still don’t have a reply.

Still awaiting order made in April
I made an order for boots in mid-April, since then I have tried to contact the company many times through different routes (it isn't easy to get in touch). My only response was through FB messenger back in May when I was told they would come at some point in June. Since then they have implemented a 'ticket' system to get in touch however my first attempt upon checking it was deleted? I would very much like to know when and if I will receive these boots.

Not a trustworthy company
Ridgemont Outfitters raised money to fund their corporate salaries, money from small investors, hard-working individuals. They became "insolvent" and did not repay any of the borrowed funds, yet they continue to operate and profit. Don't trust them with your money.

Finally received my order that I placed…
Finally received my order that I placed in January. Way past the expected pre order date. Really frustrating when you order shoes in January and then continue to receive promo emails for the same shoe that’s “in stock” but yet the ones you Pre ordered still haven’t shipped. Followed up with CS multiple times on the last I got no response but then a text message shipping update. I love your shoes but this will be my last pair.

Their shoes are so soft and comfy to wear in every occasion, it is hard to stop the hoarding obsession !! Started with the Mesa, to Monty Hi and Monty Lo, they all have great fit, longevity and style!

I placed an order early March and apart from one email in May informing me my order was delayed due to the Corona Virus I have heard zilch ever since.
It's been over 14 weeks since I placed this order - Never Again! My advice is avoid this company as their customer care is appalling!
Update: After sending an email my boots got sent. Happy with that! Boots are great.
Downside: No socks came with them that was part of my order.
Not going to bother chasing up socks as I have decided to put this to bed and never order from this company in the future.
Can't really understand their business model - Great Product combined with Terrible Customer Experience
