Very cool boots
Very cool boots, especially if you're not going too deep into the woods and are more of an urban hiker. Customer service was excellent! Made an exchange and they made it easy.
No Refund
Sent a pair of boots back. Six weeks later still no refund!! I have contacted them and they said they would contact the accounts, two weeks later still no response.... Not a nice company to deal with, seems they are building a really bad reputation for themselves which doesn't fit with their brand. I will never order from them again.

Black Friday scam
I was looking to buy some Montys from Ridgemont but decided to hold off until I could afford them.
It then came round to Black Friday and they jumped on the bandwagon for Black Friday. So I thought I'd have another check seeing as their email advertised 25% off for Black Friday. I thought, winner!
Went to their store and the montys I originally looked at were increased in price right before the sale. So the 25% off (for black Friday) brought them back down to the original price.
Because of this. I don't think I want a pair of their shoes anymore. Even if they are a UK shoe. They use unfair selling tactics.
*Edit* After their reply, all I've got to say is that they had shoes listed as £75 before Black Friday. During black Friday they were up at £100. So your 25% off 'sale' would bring it back down to RRP. Sale manipulation at its worst. Then to outright deny it ever happened by covering it up as the "RRP never changed". Scandalous...

Happy I got my refund.
I just wanted to come on and say that :
I ordered a pair of boots on December 15th 2020.
Not long after that I found out that shipping from the factory to the warehouse was majorly delayed.
Then a few weeks ago I decided that I wanted a refund instead of the boots.
Communication on Ridgemont's end was delayed, however I did receive my refund as of yesterday January 19th 2021.
So I am grateful.

Ordered two months ago, still waiting...no response from customer service
I ordered a pair of Monty high shoes on November 7th...still not arrived. Three emails, delay, they’ve arrived, another delay. Final email telling me they hadn’t ordered enough Shoes and to get in touch and to let them know if I’d like a refund or a different shoe. I’ve emailed, got a confirmation and Another automated response. No way of getting in touch with a human being or them at all? Have even messaged them on Instagram. I’d really like a response and a refund, I’ve been quite patient enough. I really wouldn’t recommend this company purely based on the lack of response!

Excellent quality and very comfortable…
Excellent quality and very comfortable trainer. Did take sometime to arrive. Initially the wait time was understood when I ordered, but obviously problems with Brexit and Covid delayed the delivery.
I did receive updates and when I contacted Ridgemont they replied fairly quickly.
Poor quality and even poorer customer service
I purchased a pair of Outback IIs in October 2019. At first I was impressed by their comfort, however, by December 2020 they had worn down so much at the heel that a small hole appeared. I have to say I wore these shoes no more or no less than any other shoes I own, they weren't worn constantly by any stretch. As a result of this wear the boots have become unusable in wet conditions because water is sucked up through the sole and soaks the insole leaving you with a soaked foot.
I emailed Ridgemont UK in December 2020 to inform them that I was disappointed that a product that they market on their website as a hiking boot had worn through and become useless in less than 14 months and asked whether it was possible to repair them. I also sent them photos of the boots as evidence that aside from the problem with the sole they were in a fine condition. Ridgemont UK responded stating that they use gum rubber for better grip and comfort and that this is results in a softer sole. They didn't address the request for a repair but did offer me a 20% discount off a replacement pair. This would require me to spend an additional £103 to get a functional pair of boots. Given these boots were on a sale price at the time of £109, Ridgemont's response was to basically buy a new pair.
Because of the nature of the sole on these boots I can't get them repaired via a third party, so these are basically for the bin. £129 for 14 months worth of wear is unacceptable by anybody's standards, however Ridgemont UK don't seem to want to acknowledge this. I followed up with an explicit request for either a repair, a replacement, or a refund, as is my right under the Consumer Rights Act as I don't believe their product is of a satisfactory quality, fit for the purpose they've described on their website, and it certainly hasn't lasted a reasonable amount of time for the price paid. Again, this was rejected and an offer of a 20% discount reiterated.
My experience with Ridgemont UK has been really poor, they have been dismissive of my concerns and even informed me that they were 'glad to see you’ve had so much use out of them'. Sorry I wouldn't describe 14 months use as 'so much use' and I certainly won't recommend their products to anyone.
Monty Low shoes not arrived and no response to refund requests
I ordered a pair of pre order Monty Low shoes in early October which initially had a November delivery date. The shoes didn't arrive and so I emailed and asked for an update which they provided and apologised for a delay which they attributed to the pandemic. I was given another arrival date for December which again came and went and no shoes arrived. I emailed again for another update and was told they had secured a date of the 27th of December for their arrival. The shoes had still not turned up so I emailed them again. This email I requested a refund after I read online reviews about the quality of the shoes, for customers who had actually received them, being poor and not the same colour as the stated image. I received no response to this email so I emailed again the next day and again requested a refund.
It seems not only have I got to constantly chase them about the status of my £110 shoes but it seems I will also have to chase them for a refund. Thankfully I paid by credit card so I will contact the card company and try to secure my refund. Very dissatisfied.

I ordered 2 pair of the same shoes
I ordered 2 pair of the same shoes. Only 1 pair was shipped. When I contacted them about the missing pair they immediately sent the second pair and added a nice pair of socks. Awesome customer service and it was much appreciated.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service
I purchased a pair of Monty-Lo shoes on 9th September and understood there would be a wait time, however I was advised this would be mid-Oct. Since then I have had to reach out to Ridgemont a total of 5 times myself to be updated on my order, as they seem incapable of updating their customers after they have taken payment.
First response (9th Nov) advised that Customs were holding up the vessel but I would receive delivery that week. Next communication (15th Nov) advised that the last email was a “mix up” and the shoes weren’t in fact due to arrive until late Nov, so I should expect delivery beginning of Dec. Chased again (2nd Dec) advised there was now a delay at the factory but delivery date to the port would be 6th Dec and I would have the shoes the week of the 7th, however next email (12th Dec) stated that the shoes still hadn’t arrived at the port but were expected early the following week...reached out again (19th Dec) and as expected... told they are delayed until 27th Dec!
Serious lack of proactive communication with no regard for the customer, with one email starting with “super apologies”, indicating to me that my concerns were not being taken seriously... Very poor experience which ended up in money being refunded after I read more reviews around the quality of the product, why wait any longer if the likelihood is the product will either never arrive and/or will be of poor standard.
Ridgemont have two TrustPilots, one for their .co.uk and one for their .com. I would strongly urge anyone to read both sites ahead of buying anything as my experience seems extremely common.

Swift delivery at a busy time of year
Swift delivery at a busy time of year - excellent service and regularly updated. Sooo pleased with my boots which have, so far, exceeded all expectations. Stylish, comfortable and well made. Thank you Ridgemont.
Good looking but not good quality
Despite looking good and having a comfy feel, the quality and workmanship of the shoes is very poor. I have had my Monty Hi Grey Olive boots for less than three months and three of the metal ringlets to the laces have already become dislodged and the fabric around them has torn. Fabric in other parts of the boots have also frayed. Sadly, despite looking good the quality is just not there. If you want a good quality, long lasting boot look elsewhere.

Just bought a pair of Heritage boots
Just bought a pair of Heritage boots. Delivery was quick and service seemed very good . Boots were not . As soon as I tried to lace them up the 5th D ring & cleat came out of the leather it was supposed to be fixed to. Very poor manufacture for a supposed high end product. Beware . Hoping my refund is not going to be an issue. The boots looked so good on the website but were poorly constructed.

Great customer service!
These are fantastic boots
These are fantastic boots, they definitely take some time to break in, but they are incredibly light and very comfortable.
The product is good
The product is good, but it took several months to get here and was delayed several times.
