Just a really poor boot
Just a really poor boot. I bought the 'Monty' and I wore them in a very typical rainy day, on pavements, and my feat were soaked. No where near waterproof and not comfy. Do not buy if you want any kind of waterproof, fine for wearing on dry days as casual footwear, which isn't what the glossy ads have you believe....do not recommend these.

Awful Service, Awful Boot. Avoid.
Ordered a pair of heritage boots and shoe wax. Shipping was quick enough, but the shoe wax did not come in the box. went to lace up the shoes, but the metal shoe eyelet tore out of the leather in the first 10 seconds of wearing the boots. I began processing the return in late March, and I am still waiting for my refund in Mid-May. Customer service at first asked me to be patient, but now is no longer returning my emails. Terrible service. I want my $105 back.

Utter scam
Utter scam.
Bought a VERY expensive bag from them, it was delivered weeks after promised and within a couple of weeks after that it failed and is unusable.
Initial contact to customer service seemed great, but quickly turned useless. I was informed that a replacement was not possible and that I could accept a return/refund or a partial refund and I would keep and repair the bag. I chose the second option and then they disappeared. No response for months. No partial or complete refund. And of course, no phone number to be found to actually speak to someone about this.
I really wanted to support a small business with what I thought were great products. Instead it seems I’ve been scammed by a dude on the internet.
Their address is published on the companies house website. Of course it’s just some random person’s home. I’ll definitely be knocking on the door next time I’m in the area to get my refund and would encourage anyone else who’s been scammed by these guys to do the same!

I would not recommend their footwear to anyone .. save yourself the trouble.
I couldn't find anywhere to post a review of my Ridgemont boot experience.
1. the order didn't ship until the date my order email said they would arrive.
2. Their returns suck, I was told that I had to pay to return them and there was no guarantee of a refund. I had worn them to try them on around my house.
3. They have been uncomfortable since the start. I am now a few months into trying to wear them in.
4. They aren't waterproof
5. The high tops part barely goes above the laces so they slip off and come undone. Also means there is no ankle support
Even though they feel too tight.
6. They look like ugly converse.
7. The arch support is in the wrong place and rock solid
8. No pull tab to help you put them on, making you not want to fight them
9. They are very bottom heavy. A fat heavy sole makes for an inefficient step and more work than it needs to be.
10. I would never suggest anyone buys these, for the money there are way better shoes out there. I am stuck with them. You don't have to be.

Do not buy from this company. As others have stated, I have not received a refund 2 months after sending back the boots I ordered. I have tracked the return and it was received by the company. The company have not replied to my emails. Fraudulent company, AVOID!!
The "outdoor" shoes I ordered let water…
The "outdoor" shoes I ordered let water in when it was a light drizzle - contacted the company why requested I return them for inspection - after discussion they advised they would refund me - since then they haven't responded to any emails or calls. From other feedback it would appear that this isn't an isolated incident so I'll be raising this as fraud with my bank today

Great fashion boots, not for the trails.
I ordered a pair of "hiking boots" through the sale. The service was good, email updates and arrived promptly with tracked service.
The boots are really cool looking and seem reasonably well made. They are great as a work shoe which is what I wanted them for. I would under no circumstances consider hiking in them. The soles have very little grip and there is not much support.
Awful Customer Service
I ordered and paid for boots from Ridgemont in October 2019. Delivery was not until December 2019. I returned the boots as the fit was not right for me. The return courier's tracking confirms Ridgemont have received my return.
It is now February 2020 and I have not received any refund. I have contacted Ridgemont multiple times for a status update, but had no response.
I will shortly be opening a fraud case with my bank.
Poor quality product, turned up months late and no refund
Two months after I purchased the order finally arrived in slightly damp boxes from China. They were pretty basic - nothing special and no quality finish to shout about. I returned the boots a couple of weeks ago and there's no sign of a refund.
Poor quality after very delayed delivery
After waiting way past advertised delivery date they fell apart on first wear. The metal lace guides pulled through the leather in three places. Their response, "oh that sometimes happens with one but not three, we will tell our QA guy", "you could put the laces through the holes that left...." Daft idea and not even possible as there is a stiched in liner "oh yeah we forgot about that". Don't waste your money nor your time on these, good looking but junk quality.
Amazing service
One of the best customer services I've ever been in contact with. Ordered a pair of Outback II and they didn't fit so I contacted Ridgemont and someone called Zoe was really helpful with the return and shipping of a new pair. And i really like the boots too. The feel really rugged and nice. 5 out of 5!

Good customer service
Good customer service, good quality shoes. A little delay to receive them, but communication was there. Complications happen in any service they dealt with my queries and shipped on one day delivery. I am happy thumbs up!
Good boots, poor customer service
They're happy to take your money then make you wait well past the originally-advertised delivery time for what you have paid for - but will provide absolutely no information whatsoever about the delay or when you can expect your order, unless you chase them yourself. And when you do they'll tell you 'should be early next week' and yet several days after that... still no order, still no update. Would not recommend.
EDIT: a month after placing the order it has finally arrived. but still with no communication from Ridgemont, in fact if I check the detail for my order it still says 'We’ve accepted your order, and we’re getting it ready. Come back to this page for updates on your shipment status.' That said, the product itself is of a high quality so no complaints on that front. If they could just sort out their customer service/communications...!
EDIT: As it turned out, the quality wasn't that great... the boots (Monty Hi - Brown/Orange) started to fall apart after just a couple of months. Contacted customer service and they said it must have been a manufacturing fault and agreed to send me a replacement pair. These also took a while to arrive but, once they did, they definitely were of a much better construction. Indeed, I've worn them almost daily for over a year - and since I own a dog they do quite a few miles across a range of surfaces - and they have held up impressively well, are very comfortable and stylish. Despite the poor customer service I would actually consider ordering another pair.

Uk site advertising shoes as in stock when they do t have any, then after a week you have to contact them to find out there’s been a “delay” on the stock but they haven’t bothered to inform anyone
Great company - excellent products
Really good shoes which are tough enough for the outdoors but stylish enough for the city. Superb customer service. Excellent company. I had a great experience with them and I love the shoes I bought.
