Very poor service and the longest of delays.
I placed and and paid for an order on the 16th February 2021. The order was supposed to arrive in April 2021. As of yet June 2021 (two months later) nothing has arrived. Each time I have enquired, i have had to reach out and initiate communication. Very dissapointing process to be honest. Poor.

Pre-order for May delivery did not arrive and no communication. Alternative offered and sent out swiftly. High quality boots.
UPDATE - I contacted the company to enquire about the late delivery and received an email back on the same day informing me that the boots would not arrive for a few more weeks. I was offered a range of in-stock alternatives and chose one which was delivered within 48hrs. Not my first choice of boot but more expensive (without additional charges applied) and they seem incredibly high quality on the first few outings. So a satisfactory conclusion...
Similar to other one star reviews. Placed a pre-order for delivery in May. Shoes have not arrived and I have received no communication as to why this might be. The shoes were ordered specifically for a holiday and I fly next week. Holding out little hope of the situation being resolved by then...

Buyer beware
Well, I pre-ordered my shoes back in March with the expected shipment to be middle to end of April.
The shoes have yet to arrive 6/6/21. I have reached out twice. The first time I was told they were delayed... and would arrive middle of May.
The second time I reached out I was told they shoes would arrive to port and would ship out that week (end of may).
My order says it has pre-shipment usps and had said that for over a week.
This company has made no effort to take care of me for the delay or to even reach out and let me know what is going on. I have had to initiate every conversation. They only reached out once they received a poor review.
I ask that you take this information to heart before placing an order. Good luck!

Great shoes, but maybe stick to what's in stock rather than pre-order
Have to agree with the recent one star reviews... I pre-ordered a pair of boots and was aware that there could be delays, but the length of the delay, lack of communication, and emails to customer service being ignored have really soured the experience here.
Maybe ordering from shoes that are in stock is the answer, but I can't recommend pre-ordering from Ridgemont.
Update - shoes arrived, and I really like them. It's a shame the pre-order experience was poor because I'd rate them higher if the communication regarding delays was improved. Ridgemont's reply below to contact their customer service team feels a little pointless considering that's the email address that's ignored my previous emails.

My feet probably grew a size since I ordered my boots
I have ordered and paid for my boots in March. It’s now May and still nothing. Communication is very poor but last thing I’ve heard is that they may Arrive by end of May. If they don’t I’ll try and cancel...if I can find a way to do that. So far it’s been the worse online shopping experience ever. So don’t bother. I certainly won’t bother again.

I really want to support this business, and everyone understands that shipping is maybe more challenging, but please, just drop us an email! Communicate! If the order is delayed or we query what stage the order is at, please respond or stop advertising your products! I ordered my shoes in feb, they were on pre order set to ship in April but no communication at all. Its so disappointing as the product looks great. It just seems like this company don't give a damn about the customer. Clearly they think we've got £75 to throw away. Its such a shame. I wish I hadn't trusted the adverts on Instagram and read these reviews first as others have had the same experience. Sorry Ridgmont, I really had high hopes, but you've let me down!

I love these shoes
I love these shoes. The last pair I had got cut off me after an accident and the first thing I did when I got moving before I even went out into the woods again was buy another set of Monty Hi's fantastic shoe on the trail and it looks good enough to wear around town.
Pleased with the purchase so far
Pleased with the purchase so far. Quality materials and fierce looks. For a waterproof shoe, the sole feels a bit slippery on wet pavement and doesn't quite grip the ground as I had expected. Maybe this will change after a few miles of break in. I see a pair of Ridgemont hikers in my future.
Scam
I don’t know what to say but when I ordered boots in November of last year, I understood there might be delays. So I gave them a chance because Ridgemont told me that things would start shipping in early January. Come January, when I reached out they took two weeks to contact me and they let me know my order wouldn’t be shipping until late February. This time, the excuse was the problems with the global production blah blah blah. Okay. Sure. Whatever. Didn’t want to be too harsh and I bit my tongue and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now five months later after ignoring my emails and questions I feel like this company is a scam. Empires have risen and fallen in shorter amount of time than it has taken to get a damn pair of boots I’ve paid for.
Terrible customer service, terrible company
Terrible customer service. Don't expect any of your products you ordered to get there on time. Don't easter your time or money, buy real outdoor gear from real companies like black diamond, lowa, outdoor research. You won't regret it.

Still waiting...
Preorder was delayed a month, so ended up changing to something in stock, and now 6 days after item has "shipped out" the shipper say they're still waiting to receive it from Ridgemont. Couple days ago Ridgemont said they would contact USPS, but I'm still waiting for a response. Starting to question Ridgemont even really has any products to sell, because a 3 months in to try to purchase anything, I've yet to have any evidence something is actually on it's way.
Update: I'm increasing to 3 stars because the shoes ended up arriving and have been pretty comfortable so far. Hopefully the shoes end up holding up well, and if more impressive I'll come back and update.

Bad experience overall..
Bad experience overall...original product was out of stock despite being listed as available. I then had to settle for a replacement model. Which then got lost in shipment, if it was ever actually shipped (tracking showed no movement ever). Another substitution had to be made, and finally received after several, several weeks (close to 2 months) from initial order. And the product received just isn’t up to par...poor fit, doesn’t seem like good materials. Overall a bad experience from start to finish.

The customer service was great, my Ridgemonts are lovely and they came quick too. All around great service.
Good but grips need improvement
I bought the Heritage boots, and been using them for 2 years, mainly for dog walking in all conditions, still 100% waterproof, still comfy and still look good compared to other boot designs, my only complaint would be about the grips, just not big enough, they are ok for walking but if there's mud or very wet conditions involved don't bother! bit disappointed about this as otherwise they are perfect. Oh and my 'free socks' never arrived when I purchased, even when advertised, when I chased this up they just said sorry we will send some when they come back into stock - still waiting 2 years on!
Good boots but not for me
Same issue as a previous reviewer. Sent a return back for a refund a couple of weeks ago and no refund. Order no was AO9167 if someone is actually looking at these reviews. I have already emailed customer support and no answer
UPDATE - customer service contact me today and are processing refund. Thank you to whoever picked this up.
The boots looked good when arrived but were not for me. Liked the style just not suited to my feet
