Pros, but PLEASE READ THE CONS

Pros: I rented a 10X15 storage at the end of August 2020. Since I was renting it later in the day, and the last time to enter the gated area was 8:00 PM, I asked if I could have that time extended until 12:00 PM. I was told "Yes," and was asked to send in my ID. I sent it in and waited the next day for someone to give me my code to get in but I didn't get an email, text or phone call. I figured that maybe they were busy but they did have my money and ID and so I lost a full day of moving. The following day I told the site manager, Zachary Johnson, at the Sunset location in Las Vegas (near Pecos) that I missed an entire day of moving because I was waiting for my code to get in. He apologized profusely and told me that he would extend the check out time until 12:00 PM.(Yes, I lost a day,but I just let it go. Zachary, is an EXCELLENT site manager. It is because of him that a I decided to rent a Uhaul at his site and, in another week, move my mom's stuff (she is moving out of her place) into Right Storage.
On 9/01/2020 something horrible happened.....

CONS: FUTURE CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ!!!

My appointment was at 9:00 AM. My husband and I walked in and was told that only one person could be inside. Since I have a disability-I am 100% deaf in one ear and can barely hear out of the other one ( I often read lips to understand what a person is saying), I had to stand in the doorway to hear what my husband and Zachary were saying . The assistanat, Angie Hernandez, was extremely rude to me. I would stand in the doorway to answer my husband's questions while he was talking to Zachary and she kept saying "You need to step outside, one person at a time." I kept saying "I am outside, but I need to hear the questions." She snapped "I told you to get outside!" I explained that I needed to hear waht was going on ( I didn't want to be the driver since I have a hard time driving since I can't hear the cars all the time) and that she was being totally disrespectful because she kept talking over me and was BULLYING ME. I said that I was going to call the corporate office. She said, "GO AHEAD AND CALL CORPORATE," I told her that there was a better way to talk to a customer and she said, 'Well, you showed up early and we didn't have to let you in." I did not show up early. The store opened at 9:00. I walked in at 9:00 and the door was unlocked. I asked her for her name and told her that she could have handled the situation differently by trying to help me. I can't believe it but she said "Go ahead, and call corporate!" I then talked to Zachary and told him that she could have stepped away from her desk to help me but instead kept saying "GO AHEAD AND CALL CORPORATE."
I understand that because of COVID-19 that two people can't be in that small office, but I was at the door with the door open because I needed to hear what Zachary and my husband were saying. My husband didn't know if he should get the insurance, whether we needed a dolly etc..so we needed to talk to each other.
I have NEVER had such a rude interaction with an employee. I hope that someone contacts me and tells me that she is let go, transferred to a job in which she doesn't have to talk to people, or has to go through a "Customer service orientation" clas.
Three cheers for Zachary for apologizing for her rude behavior, acknowledging that I did not come in early, and that she was not listening to me. I asked why he hired her and he said that he didn't. They are not a good match. Zachary is a blessing to RightSpace Storage.

Lastly, I did not appreciate that Angie Hernandez was bullying me by telling me to get out. I understand that people are frustrated but if she isn't a people person-and she isn't-then I believe that she needs to go. It's frustrating enough that many Nevadans can't pay rent and are moving into weekly or cheaper places to stay and now need storage, but does kindness and understanding have to be thrown out too?
In two weeks I need to move my mom's stuff into an a storage unit since she is also moving. I want to move her stuff here too but I hesitate to do so because there is a chance that I might have to "work" with her again. Hopefully, Zachary will be there on the day I need to rent.

Storage Insurance Scam

This review is to inform the public that RightSpace Storage requires storage insurance which is useless, unethical, and borderline scam. This is due to the fact that a thief can cut your lock and if they take the lock with them, you are not covered. The thief has to leave the cut lock and actually damage the storage unit locking mechanism or door. Please get your own insurance or use another rental storage company.

took close to 1 hour to set up a new…WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

took close to 1 hour to set up a new account and get assigned a storage unit. After I finally received the code to the gate it was incorrect and would not open with the worker rite beside me. I was told he’d call when it was fixed and I wasn’t called for at least close to a month . We never once used the Storage unit . But paid for I believe 3 months absolute waste of TIME and MONEY . No apology, No money back . No Nothing!!!!

DO NOT BUY BOXES AT THIS BUSINESS!!!!!

DO NOT BUY BOXES AT THIS BUSINESS!!!!!! They sell the u- haul boxes but do not have any guarantee like u- haul does. U Haul will let you return unused boxes. This place states they have no way of returning unused boxes. You can’t return to u -haul if they were not purchased there. Now we have more boxes then we need. They are very dishonest!!!!!

Dont believe the bogus reviews!!

Dont believe the bogus reviews!!? This company is the leading provider of HASTILY AUCTIONED OFF UNITS. Please post any bad experiences you have had with them. And dont forget to make sure you check the appropriate star rating otherwise they will fill it in for you!!!! Put a stop to wrongfully auctioned units. Storage wars and storage auctions all over the U.S. have become a disgusting trend. We need to set standards and make sure they are met EVERYWHERE EVERYTIME!!! This wont happen untill enough people speak up and demand change. Tell your story anywhere you can please. Help us by speaking out!!!!

Maybe the other Rightspace Storage…

Maybe the other Rightspace Storage facilities are 5 star but the one on Esplanade is .ost definetly not. The staff aside from one young man all need to be fired. They truely are vultures lurking waiting to sell your personal property off at 100 or 200 a pop per unit. They would rather sell people's personal property to some stranger than allow the owner of the property to pay for it. It's wrong It's not good business and should never be allowed under any circumstances when the rightful tenant has personally come in attempting to pay it only to be turned away.

Have rented from you guys in the past…

Have rented from you guys in the past and had no problems at all.
How can any one have problem from renting a BOX to store
thing in any ways. I have had no problems at all. I go thru the gate
to my box put things in or take out and go home no problem at all.

Helpful Awesome

Helpful, knowledgeable staff! Immaculate well kept spaces and grounds! This specific spot is a few extra miles for me, BUT so worth it for the awesome service and high-quality storage options. Five Stars all the way around :)

The people were very nice and helpful.

The people were very nice and helpful.
My unit had chipped concrete and the door is aged.
Did not work perfectly but well enough.
The pricing is the best in the area.
The promo offer was very good at the time.
I was told my unit was that last one at that price range
BUT, four days later I saw at least ten similar units open which looked like they were then available. (New month turnover, I imagine)

Dawn & Steve we’re both very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!! Dawn initiated the experience and Steve helped on Dawn’s day off.

We highly recommend this company. We had the pleasure of meeting Dawn. She was very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. We are excited to have our items stored in a convient,clean, and safe environment.

Clean, easy access

Very easy paperwork to rent your unit. Very friendly and helpful front receptionist. Showed where the unit is, and made sure entry code worked before we left, so there would be no problems.
