I wrote a review yesterday about my absolutely fantastic experience with RiotXAI. The support has been exceptional (I had a delay with my first deposit and they resolved it quickly). Profits keep rolling in like clockwork.
There has been a recent rash of people being flagged by their exchanges bots regarding AML (Anti Money Laundering). RiotXAI will work with anyone with this issue to resolve with the external exchange and it can take time, and because of that, some people, (being novice and not knowing better), panic and start interpreting that event as some sinister problem with RiotXAI.
When you come in informed, you make sure "all the ducks are in a row" and avoid those issues.

What to know about AML... (this is for the Kraken exchange but applies to others)
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies on crypto exchanges like Kraken are designed to prevent illicit activities such as money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing. These policies align with global regulations set by organizations like FATF (Financial Action Task Force), FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) in the U.S., and similar regulatory bodies worldwide.
How AML Policies Work on Kraken
1. Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification
Kraken requires users to verify their identity before trading.
Different account levels (Starter, Intermediate, Pro) require increasing levels of KYC.
Users provide government-issued ID, proof of residence, and in some cases, a selfie for biometric verification.
Higher withdrawal and trading limits require enhanced verification.
2. Transaction Monitoring & Suspicious Activity Detection
Kraken uses AI-powered tools and blockchain analytics to track transactions in real time.
Suspicious activities like high-frequency trading, rapid withdrawals, mixing services (tumblers), or transactions linked to blacklisted wallets trigger alerts.
Transactions above a certain threshold (e.g., $10,000 in the U.S.) may require a Currency Transaction Report (CTR).
3. Source of Funds & Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
If an account shows unusual activity, Kraken may request proof of source of funds.
Users might need to provide bank statements, employment details, or business transactions.
Enhanced due diligence (EDD) applies to high-risk users, such as politically exposed persons (PEPs).
4. Reporting to Regulators
Kraken reports suspicious transactions to authorities such as FinCEN, Europol, and local regulators.
Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) are filed when transactions appear to involve illegal activities.
5. Sanctions Screening
Kraken blocks access to users from sanctioned countries (e.g., North Korea, Iran).
Transactions linked to blacklisted wallets (from OFAC’s SDN list, for example) are flagged and potentially blocked.
6. Withdrawal & Deposit Restrictions
Kraken enforces daily and monthly limits on crypto and fiat withdrawals.
Large deposits from high-risk sources may require additional verification.
7. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Kraken complies with legal requests from agencies like the FBI, Interpol, and IRS.
It can freeze assets or accounts under investigation.
Why It Matters
These AML policies help Kraken stay compliant with financial laws, prevent criminal activities, and ensure a secure trading environment for legitimate users.
I have lost money using RiotXAI
My previous review was taken down as RiotXAI flagged it as containing defamatory content so I will be absolute certain to keep this review to the facts and will not speculate as to whether RiotXAI is or is not a Ponzi scheme.
The fact is I have lost money investing in this platform. I started using the platform last September with a relatively small investment of around $750. Initially everything seemed ok and other users were posting positively about making withdrawals. RiotXAI encourage referrals with a promise of increased returns so I persuaded a few family members to take the plunge with the small minimum deposit and had other friends and family interested should I be able to show them I’d made a decent withdrawal from the platform. With the funds in my account reaching over $10,000 I thought I would try and make a withdrawal of a few thousand. This is where the fun begins.
Shortly after I made my withdrawal request I was removed from the Telegram group with no communication from RiotXAI. I note other reviewers have experienced similar such as Isaiah Hill who left a review below. He was an active participant in the group until he started to post around issues with withdrawing funds. I raised my removal from the group with my RiotXAI relationship manager who assured me they would look into it but failed to feed back anything of help.
A couple of days passed and I got an email from RiotXAI to say that due to breaching the platforms terms and conditions my account was being closed within 30 days, the asserted breach being money laundering concerns. I was given the option of appealing this with any evidence I could provide to counter this claim but they were not able to provide any specific information as to how my account was in breach. My exchange account had been used only to deposit in to RiotXAI so the only way it could possibly be involved in money laundering is if Riot themselves are mismanaging funds. Again I contacted my relationship manager who assured me they would look into it urgently but then failed to come back with anything.
Wishing to cut my losses I requested the refunds of my deposits into the platform, an option offered by RiotXAI in their original email stating my account was in violation of AML rules. I have still not received my money back in spite of requesting it some weeks ago. Even if I do receive the refund of my deposits I am out of pocket due to crypto platform fees etc.
I would strongly recommend that anyone looking at putting money into this platform do their own research. You have no protection and RiotXAI are not FCA regulated in the UK, they state they are a software provider with funds being held on partner exchanges. There are a couple of helpful videos on You Tube made by Paul Hardingham which highlight potential risks and potential red flags around the platform which I personally have found very enlightening and useful and would signpost others towards when doing their own research.

Stay away
Stay away! Their major aim is to steal from you and they won't stop until they get your last penny.
I wish I had someone warned me earlier, they kept pestering me for more money and they wouldn't return any.
Just go with "simple change". They pay promptly and it's very easy to use.

Give it a miss...
I'd give this a miss if I were you....
Luckily, I didn't put a lot of money in that I couldn't afford to lose as per the guidelines when you sign up.
I was using the platform as required and tried to make a withdrawal a couple of days ago and was waiting for the 72 hours to clear. Then today received the "you are suspected of money laundering" email and my account is blocked and will be closed. Other reviewers have had a similar issue.
I'll be surprised if I manage to get some money back from this venture, which is disappointing to say the least!

My account was frozen just 2 days ago due to AML (this is what their email said). I have tried to speak to my manager but got nowhere. I messaged customer service on what’s app and still no assistance. As we stand. I still have no idea what I’m supposed to have done. No warnings no nothing.
Firstly, I was removed from telegram chat, again, I had no idea why, next day, I got email to tell me about the aml. I emailed an appeal and still nothing.
To make matters worse, I only withdrew just once, just 30.00. I am getting no assistance at all.

Money Laundering accusations
Money Laundering accusations
So this company has come up with this bogus excuse of Money Laundering activity and I quote their message:
“ Reason for Account Review:
The potential violations identified may include, but are not limited to:
AML Violation: Activities on your account may not comply with our Anti-Money Laundering policies. Our partnering exchanges have flagged your account's addresses as suspected of involvement in AML activities. As such, we have been made aware of this concern and are obligated to take action.”
Emphasis on: Our partnering exchanges have flagged your account's addresses as suspected of involvement in AML activities. So just take a moment and reflect on this statement: if my account is involved in AML(Anti Money Laundering activities), isn’t that a commendable thing? Doesn’t that mean I’m a good person as I’m involved in ANTI MONEY LAUNDERING activities? (Let that sink in and tell me if I’m tripping or not)
This goes to show that these AML accusations are unfounded. Also they cannot show you proof of this and yet they expect you to lodge an appeal!! daah!!How can you lodge an appeal yet the facts of their accusations cannot be fully disclosed to you? On which basis are you going to build an appeal??? I and many others who have been victims of this bogus accusation are new to the crypto space and thus less likely to be involved in more than just depositing money in the platform, trading it and withdrawing the proceeds if any…. Just the basics…. Just excuses for not paying people’s their money. The fact that they allow some to withdraw at least their seed money is not something to be happy about as that was not the purpose of the investment in the first place. But there are also some who have not even had the chance of getting that seed money. It’s a very elaborate scam. Beware.

In response to Riotxai's reply
In response to Riotxai's reply. I would like to add the following comments.
If they are genuinely sorry for the stress they have put me under, they would not have said they would close my account within 3 days.
They say and I quote "Recently we made an important announcement regarding AML accounts and wallet updates".
They only made that announcement on the 19th February 2025, one day after I published my review on Trustpilot, on the 18th February 2025.
They are saying how transparent they are because I withdrew my deposit, this statement is laughable, if I cannot withdraw any profits after trading for 6 months, what is the point of investing in the first place?
They also say they want to assist me in resolving this issue. So closing my account is their way of resolving the issue, is it?
Surely if they wanted to resolve the issue they could have contacted me as soon as I tried to do the withdrawal, and tell me they were not happy and had POTENTIAL issues with my account, and suggest an alternative method of withdrawal.
I can reiterate, my wallet has never been disclosed to anyone other than RIOT.

RIOTXAI IS AN ELOBARATE SCAM TO UK…
RIOTXAI IS AN ELOBARATE SCAM TO UK USERS 🇬🇧 stay clear of them, I'm a real user, not those fake users giving fake reviews, because they are also part of the SCAM.
In addition, look what RiotXAI is saying now, to prove I'm a real user.
From RIOTXAI
“First and foremost, we want to emphasize that ALL deposits will be fully refunded in cases where accounts have been flagged due to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) concerns. Even though these flags come directly from our partnering exchanges — and not from RiotXAI itself — we take responsibility for ensuring that no user loses their initial deposit. While the funds may still be frozen on the exchange side, we cover these refunds out of our own reserves to make sure users are not left empty-handed.”
And I still haven't gotten a dime from them. Tell me they are not scamming certain people. And I'm not lying, why would I?
