My Roadlok Experience
I have had my Roadlok for a couple of years with no problems whatsoever. Unfortunately the lock recently failed leaving me unable to remove the the dust plug perhaps due to dirt getting into the mechanism...
Anyway, I contacted the the head office in California by email. The following day I got a reply with some helpful suggestions from Ian to try and remedy the problem.
I was unable to sort the issue myself and I was then put in touch wish Chris an official UK affiliate based in Oxford. I sent the lock to Chris and in just over a week or so he had returned it with a new barrel and keys e.tc. at no additional cost to me. Chris kept me updated throughout with his progress in repairing the lock by email and telephone calls - Basically I was given a new Roadlok!!!
What more can I say, excellent product, fantastic service and thoroughly nice people to do business with - best customer service I've received in years!

Not as good as they look
Had my roadlok fitted to my ktm for nearly 3 years and I have to say it filled me with lots of confidence before my bike was stolen! the roadlok was fitted correctly but after finding the bike gone the roadlok was just tossed away on the floor, It looked like it had just been ripped off with bits of broken aluminium left, I am not an expert in metal casting but under the lovely shiny anodised exterior the inside looks to be very poor quality, I would love to post a picture of what remained but it seems trustpilot doesn’t allow this

On the materials, the lock body is made of CNC machined 6061 t6 aluminium. There should not be any issues with the lock as you describe. They were also very recently tested and certified by an independent lab. This included (among other tests) freeze and blunt force attacks. It passed all tests and was certified.

We apologize for the shipping fee. Actually, shipping always costs us more than we charge our customers. And on bigger orders, shipping is free. In your case, shipping cost us 16 euro incl VAT, and we charged you 9.99 incl VAT. We really wish we could find a cheaper (and still reliable) way of shipping our products, but so far, we haven't been able to.

Amazing solid product
Amazing product, very solid. Took only 2 minutes to fit on my Ducati. Just ensure you use the right spacers so that the lock fits the holes on the disk.
No more need to carry a heavy lock with you, just the pin!
Furthermore, customer service is top notch, Taco has always replied promptly to my emails and answered any of my questions.

Missing piece
Ordered a brakebolt replacement from roadlok.eu. The bolt arrived but was missing of the yellow banner.
Too bad becouse it's a safety feature.
