I've used Robinsons three times in the last ~8 years and had been happy until my most recent experience when they helped pack and move our belongings into storage while we did work on our house. Unfortunately our fridge freezer was packed up with the contents still in it so that when we unpacked it several months later it was putrid. There's been some debate as to who established that the item was ready to pack in the first instance but what has disappointed me is the approach which Robinsons have taken to my complaint which is to try to ignore it, not respond to communication etc.

We used Robinsons to manage a move from LA to London. We were highly satisfied with the responsiveness pre-move to all queries, the liaison with their US local partner and final move team in the UK. This is our fifth move with Robinsons, including two international moves, and we would highly recommend.

Would definitely recommend Robinsons. Staff were reliable, friendly and helpful throughout the process of moving.

We had a very impressive experience with Ryan and his crew from Robinsons' Basingstoke in the last few days. First of all our original removal company cancelled 4 days before moving and Robinsons' sales person Victoria managed to secure us a last minute booking. Ryan and his crew went above and beyond helping us with the move and were incredibly professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

I used these clowns to move my luxury apartment from London to Los Angeles. They promised the world, then smashed/destroyed literally every single expensive thing I own, including fine art, a Steinway, multiple tables and chairs, etc. NEVER use Robinsons. The industry has been electronic for over a decade now and these fools still take paper inventory. Perfect encapsulation of their horrendous business.

Robinson’s Redditch branch handled our move from the West Midlands over the border to Wales, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The team were friendly and professional, and immediately inspired confidence that all our stuff was in safe hands. Everyone we talked to from the initial quotation left us highly impressed, and we would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone planning a move.

I would not recommend Robinsons Relocation due to the fact they damaged 2 pieces of large expensive furniture and my oak flooring during delivery. The delivery team initially denied the damage but then admitted it once we explained what had happened and how it happened as it was witnessed.
There has been no apology from Robinsons senior management which is extremely disappointing. They used the word "regrettable" which is at best clumsy; at worst insulting.
I appreciate accidents happen but it has been extremely poorly handled. I would not recommend the company.
UPDATE RESPONSE TO ROBINSONS:
As on previous negative reviews, Robinsons have been disingenuous. My review has nothing to do with insurance. It is factual and relates to Robinsons employees damaging my goods and my home during delivery; initially lying about the cause and Robinsons not making a simple apology. They have failed to address any of these points and instead chosen to go off on a tangent.
Robinsons have assumed that I do not have personal insurance simply because I asked if they would cover the damage that they caused. My view is that they should take (a moral) responsibility (if not contractual) as they were the ones who directly caused the damage. Again, this is irrelevant to my review though.
Robinsons clearly have many happy customers but the negative reviews all show that when things go wrong with them they fail to act in a professional manner. My review is a personal account and factual, borne out by the fact Robinsons have not disputed nor even addressed any of my facts.
Again, I reiterate, I would not recommend Robinsons.

This was a great experience. The whole team was extremely courteous, efficient, helpful and professional. I would definitely use them in the future.

Excellent from start to finish. Everything went smoothly on a long distance move to the west of Scotland.

Great experience, started with Theresa who did the viewing, Matt the manager was fab to deal with (Abingdon) and really responsive.
The crew on the day were a dream, courteous, careful, quick, they moved me in and out of a large 3 bed house in 4.5hrs and nothing was damaged, I’d use them again in a heartbeat

Further to dialogue with Robinsons Relocation it would appear that the vehicle was not in their control having recently been sold to a new owner who was likely the driver of the vehicle
So I would like to confirm that my observations were of a vehicle previously owned and operated by Robinsons Relocation but actually not connected in anyway to the firm , ( the only mistake they have made was failing to remove the logos and branding from the vehicle when it was sold)
From my recent dialogue with Robinsons Relocation I am heartened that they appear to be a very caring. And responsible company so please disregard any comments relating to the incident as it had no connection with Robinsons Relocation .

We chose Robinsons on what we believed was a good reputation and indeed the collection, storage and delivery was very well organized. However, there was a major problem. Their staff damaged two items of furniture either in storage or transit. They admitted they had damaged the items - and took photographs - but sharply Robinsons brushed off our claim saying that we needed to go to their insurer who only offered a derisory amount for both items. Robinsons' endless T&C exclude all liabilities except for the smallest amount per item and the insurance policy (for which the customer pays the premiums) is next to useless if you are dealing with nice items of furniture. Robinsons refused point blank to help even with a modest ex gratia payment or even to discuss the issue. As a result, we have two items damaged beyond repair thanks to Robinsons. I advise those who contemplate using this firm to check the T&C and also what they get from an expensive insurance policy for which they pay the premiums. For our part, we won't be using Robinsons again.

Robinsons Relocation packed and moved our belongings and furniture when we temporarily relocated due to building works.

The quoting process was quick and easy, packing and moving carried out on the exact date and time agreed and their operatives were polite, respectful, professional and tidy. Everything was moved carefully, no damage to property or belongings!

They made what can be quite a stressful process, very easy.

I had my house moved today by Robinson Removal. The process went very smoothly. Greg & Dominik were very polite and treated the items with care. Overall, I highly recommend this company.

I booked Robinsons Relocation for my parents, as they're in their 70s and were downsizing to a smaller property.

I initially booked Robinsons because they operated locally (out of Oxford), they were able to provide a quote without needing to do an in-person visit or video tour of the property, and they provided a very reasonable price.

The 3 gentleman who turned up were polite, careful, and thoughtful in how the did their work, from start to finish. They took huge care to pack everything (70 boxes in total) and handle the furniture. At the other side, they placed everything in the right places, and then came back a few days later to collect the boxes.

I wasn't around for the move, but my parents said they felt so comfortable and safe with the team, they even left to run errands while the house was being packed.

My mother said the whole process was "an absolute dream" which is probably the highest praise she could give. Many thanks to the Robinson's team. Highly recommended.

Robinsons is an excellent company! I worked with Theresa and Natalie to organize an international move. They were extremely proactive, friendly, and professional, and they went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make the move as simple as possible. I would definitely work with them again if I had the chance!

Not a single thing in our shipment was broken, and we had a lot of china and pots. My partner and I were so impressed with the team who packed our stuff in the UK. We just moved house today from Tadley to Durrington using Robinsons Removal and Transport and they were absolutely fantastic The guys were so helpful and extremely polite and nothing was too much trouble.
