I had a slightly mixed experience with Robinsons of Rochdale, but overall I am happy with how things were handled. My Kawasaki Versys 650 arrived without the Datatag and PDI being fully sorted,... See more

No messing around with warranty work !great team !!!
Fantastic work by Robinson Rochdale, special thanks to Josh for booking us in so quickly for slight engine management problem , would highly recommend this shop now , as you can see that they go above and beyond to help customers!!
Why you travel 200 miles for a used bike available down the road
Well, ok, the particular Scrambler my wife wanted was in limited supply, but I'd have pushed the second (more plentiful) choice harder. So, why trouble with the cost of a train and a 200 mile (very wet) journey home, especially when the dealer is asking for a very full price, at end of season. Because, let's face it, when some dealers say they won't let a bike out of their showroom unless they're happy with it, you take that with a pinch of salt. Enter Robinsons: they cancelled my pick up date, said the workshop was not sending me out on those tyres, and not happy about the battery - and replaced the lot, without quibble. Wow. No, really, Wow! Of course, I couldn't have known that they would be so stand-up before doing the deal. And that's what will make me (or Mrs on her very nice Duc!) go all the way back for the next one. But what got me there in the first place was a terrific experience with Josh, who never gave up but never got pushy, and never tried to persuade me I was wrong (I never am), just stayed patient, likeable and professional, and was genuinely pleased to complete the handover. Well done, Rob, Josh and team. First time I've bothered to recommend a dealer in 30 years of buying new and old!
Nowhere better for service
Bought a 125cc bike from Josh who was incredible. Something happened that required me to bring it in for repairs and Lee has been outstanding, I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else apart from Robinsons. Top tier service and top tier guys.
Excellent service
Excellent service. Wish was very informative and kept me in the loop.
See you in October for my 1st service
kawasaki h2 sx purchase
purchased my new bike today josh was a delight to deal with , thanks for everything .would highly recomend robinsons of rochdale.
Josh A+
After having a shocking experience with another retailer! I can honestly say it was like breath of fresh air dealing with Josh from Robinsons, nothing was to much trouble and he did what he said he would do… A+ 👍🏻
Amazing service
Josh was great. All questions I've asked been answered straight away. Amazing bike I couldn't have asked for more so happy with my purchase would recommend 1000 procent
Disappointment and a little relief.
After I agreed to buy the bike and paid the deposit they told me the price was wrong and was a few hundred higher. I declined. They later rang me and offered, as a gesture, a deal on a bike that I didn't want. I declined. I have today had to make a trip to the dealership to find out why my deposit had not been returned, an oversight, apparently. (sorted out) I've been buying my bikes from here for 12 years, none of them have been 100%.
To be fair. After a face to face discussion with the manager it appears that there had been a cascade of misunderstandings between various members of the dealership from the initial purchase attempt, the deal offer and the return of my deposit. My discussion with Kris came with a sincere apology for the confusion and inconvenience so, there's that.
The thing is. The palaver completely killed my new bike buzz. It would have been my last bike too.
Never mind, 2 stars is too harsh.

Absolute joy to deal with
Absolute joy to deal with. Rob was really helpful and honest following up on an enquiry made by me to their website about purchasing a Royal Enfield for my husband’s birthday. From the initial enquiry to delivery of the bike to our home today everything went smoothly and communication all the way. A very happy hubby with a beautiful bike. Thank you.
Such a letdown
Robinsons of Rochdale have a huge range of new bikes for sale. Lots of Chinese bikes. All shiny and inviting. Their store also has some accessories and clothing. Its an interesting store to roam around while waiting to have your bike serviced.
Such was my experience. In January I asked Robinsons to service my Suzuki at 10,000mls. This was my first encounter with the company. They seemed very reasonable. They also advised me that the brake fluid should be replaced due to age. This was all encouraging that they knew what was right and proper. I now realise how mistaken I was.
On the day after the engineers had finished their work the salesman told me they'd been unable to replace the air filter because they didn't have the correct one in stock - but that the old one was very clean anyway. I was also told that replacing the spark plugs would cost much more money, and they'd be ok too. I was doubtful but accepted their word as they are supposed to be experts.
Since that day I have replaced the air filter which was filthy. And I replaced the spark plugs too. They were very easy to access without even needing to remove the fuel tank. Dead easy, and surely a standard part of any service!
Robinsons took £265 off me for a half job. I only got a service to honour my warranty. What a disappointment.

Robinson’s Rochdale the King of Distance Sales
Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. From start to finish Nick was brilliant. People are always concerned about distance sales (I live in Essex) but when you deal with this company, you quickly realise there is no cause for concern. They do what they say will do. Would recommend Robinson’s to anyone in a heartbeat. Great customer service is getting rarer these days, but is alive and kicking at Robinson’s. Bike is superb and totally as described.
Over and above customer service
I have taken a delivery of a Royal Enfield 350 Classic, this is a beautiful bike and to top it Nick Holt the sales person kept me informed on the progress of my bike. I had beer searching for the bike on the internet and visiting many stores. When I met Nick he didn’t have the bike in stock, however he contacted his head office and managed to source my dream bike. Nick went above and beyond to help my dream come true.
Sales and Service
My husband bought the Kawasaki Z900 in May the sales team were fantastic and very knowledgeable and helpful. The bike has just had the first service and the service team also really helpful, knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic teams all round
I brought a Royal Enfield from…

A happy customer.
Not exactly the best customer service…
Not exactly the best customer service in the world.
Rob from Robinson’s came and had a chat with me and all sorted. He apologised for my experience and had a word with his staff.
Finn, customer service, gave me some good advice re living chain.
I bought my bike from Robinson’s last year and I took it back to Robinson’s for it first annual service. I asked if they leant out demonstrators whilst bikes are being serviced, the guy behind the desk said, “yeah, normally but not sure if anything is available”, he never got back to me on that one. I browsed the clothing and bikes for over 30mins, no one asked if I would like any help. Sad really as I was looking to buy a new jacket , gloves and pants, possibly another helmet. I’m also considering purchasing a 2nd bike but I won’t be buying anything from these guys. I was hoping to do a bit of work whilst waiting for my bike to be serviced and 4G was slow. I noticed that there was a Robinson’s customer wifi, I asked for the password- more scratching of heads, no one could help, they said I would have more luck with 4G, just stared at my phone for a few hours.
I took my bike for its first service at Kawasaki Bournemouth, such a different experience; they offered me a bike for the day, made me feel welcome, offered to help with any potential purchases. They also have a cafe with a great selection of drinks and food, much better than Robinson’s old instant hot drink machine. I’m going to have to find a better local alternative bike shop.
I’m pretty darn happy with that
I’m pretty darn happy with my whole experience at Robinsons Rochdale! Incredible service and extremely helpful with supplying me with the right information and support needed to buy my first bike.
A massive thanks to the team!
Rubbish shop no customer service from…
Rubbish shop no customer service from nick , forgot who I was even though phoned me 5 mins earlier, could not be botherd and even manager useless tookmy 4200 cash I've got for a bike elsewhere no call rubbish not reliable at all
Buying a bike unseen.
Both sales and mechanical staff go the extra mile, and obviously take customer satisfaction very seriously indeed. I can't fault the description of the bike I bought, the 30+ pictures I received from Nick in sales, the video and talk-through from Arthur the mechanic, and sheer professionalism of the company. Highly recommended.

Absolute legends, Any bad review of this place is slander. Had no trouble at all!
