I had a slightly mixed experience with Robinsons of Rochdale, but overall I am happy with how things were handled. My Kawasaki Versys 650 arrived without the Datatag and PDI being fully sorted,... See more

After I agreed to buy the bike and paid the deposit they told me the price was wrong and was a few hundred higher. I declined. They later rang me and offered, as a gesture, a deal on a bike that I... See more

Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. From start to finish Nick was brilliant. People are always concerned about distance sales (I live in Essex) but when you deal with this company, you quickly... See more
Unfortunately my zero miles new bike developed a fault soon after collection (not Robinson's fault of course - it was the manufacturer). It was pretty traumatic of course, but thankfully Kris... See more

Looked after me and my z1000
Great customer service, went above and beyond even with all the trouble we are having with the current plague, the attention they have payed to my bike means everything. Defo won me, thanks to everyone at Robinsons 100% recommended
Great service and bikes.
I found a bike I wanted from this dealer but as I live in Scotland I was worried it would be a nightmare actually buying and getting possession of it - I needn't have worried! These guys made the whole thing easy and hassle free and had my new bike delivered to my door. Even the bike was in immaculate condition for its year and the pictures and video I saw did not do it justice. Thanks for getting me back on the road.
First Service
Brought my Royal Alloy Scooter in for its first service. I was late delivering the bike but was met with courtesy by all concerned (The service department was very busy that day) Service carried out and on my way home within two hours. great service, pity about the weather.
Thank you.
Excellent service from a professional dealership
I've just bought a new Kawasaki bike from Robinsons, and ended up part-exchanging one of my existing machines. The salesman Andy was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and professional and put an excellent deal together for me. Despite COVID19 and a very obviously busy dealership now the lockdown is relaxed somewhat, the bike was prepared and delivered not just on time but early. A very good experience, I've used this dealership in the past. They were good then and still are. One very happy customer thank you very much. Good work guys!
Truly appalling customer service
After seeing a rather nice Moto Guzzi v7 classic on eBay I travelled 145 miles to Robinson's of Rochdale.
The bike was very nice and I was all set to buy it.
I requested a test ride but received an unnecessarily blunt reply from the salesman. "You won't be be riding that out of here today"
Somewhat taken aback I asked why not.
He then told me they didn't operate that way. He explained that I had to leave a £200 deposit as a declaration of intent to buy and they would prep the bike and I would have to return the following week for a test ride. They said they don't prep bikes because the batteries go flat and the tyre pressures go down. He didn't even offer to start the bike so I don't understand how he knew the battery was flat. The tyres on the bike were fine when I sat it.
I told him that I'd travelled for over two hours and 145 miles to see the bike and I wouldn't be doing a 290 mile round trip next week.
In conclusion if you want to travel a very long way wasting your time and quite a bit on petrol to meet a rather unhelpful salesman who doesn't seem very keen to sell you a motorbike then this is the Bike shop for you.
I have been biking for over 47 years and this salesman is the worst I've ever met. Apparently the motorcycle industry is struggling with falling sales, but not in Rochdale because they can turn customers away.
As for me I wouldn't set foot in the place again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
