I've dealt with 5 different hosting companies over 10 plus years and have gone through the pain of moving many, many sites from one host to another. My last move, done about a year and a half ago to Rocket was crazy smooth, unlike previous migrations! Of course there were reasons why I initiated this move. Best move I ever did. Five times a charm I guess.
Rocket is the best host I've been with by far and I plan on staying here. First off - support. They did my migrations. All of them (and there were a lot). Super fast and no issues that I recall. Support is outstanding. The team is a pleasure to deal with. They go the extra mile (believe me, they really do!) and they are quick and easy to get hold of.
Rocket is optimized for WordPress websites and they offer CloudFlare for Enterprise. This is a HUGE value. You can google that and see all the reasons why.
With Rocket, I don't have to worry about server concerns. It's absolutely effortless for me and I don't run into server problems (like I used to on other hosts). I give Rocket.net my highest recommendation!

I've been a rocket.net user for about 8 months now and have to say they're one of the best hosting providers I've ever been with if not the best.

I've noticed an immediate performance improvement in my core web vitals when migrating over from other hosting platforms. It was almost embarrassing with other providers and in fact am still SMH that I did not switch sooner.

Regarding their support, Ben and his team have helped me numerous times with any issues that came up. During a weekend? No problem. Late hours? no problem. They're support team is on the ball and help whenever possible. By far the best support team I've encountered with hosting providers.

Oh and the price is much cheaper than I anticipated for what I'm getting.

I'm building a portfolio of websites and don't think I'll ever be using another provider.

In May 2023 Rocket migrated me over from a competitor where a dedicated server running Litespeed Enterprise, 32GB ram & SSD was in use. It worked OK but cost more and tickets sometimes went unanswered for as long as 12-13 HOURS! 110% true! (Inter******.net). Performance was OK for USA users but Rocket has proven to be at least 2x faster on most metrics. 8 sites migrated in less than an hour. I could not believe it..!

The Rocket team genuinely make every encounter a lesson and a blessing. They go above and beyond in performance and in support. The list of services provided just about cover every ground necessary and I love that.

I first heard of Rocket.net while researching the best performance plugins for WordPress. I came across a blog post detailing combinations of hosts and plugins with very impressive performance results which had Rocket.net sitting on top.

This got my attention and upon further research I found many more blog posts and reviews where other users were seeing similar results. This prompted me to request a call and within 15 minutes I was speaking to Ben at Rocket.net who was extremely helpful and knowledgable.

He fully explained the technology and infrastructure used for their WordPress hosting and upon reviewing my (then current) WP Engine accounts he proposed what Rocket.net could offer. This included a better more transparent solution at a significantly reduced cost. It seemed a bit too good to be true but decided to take a punt and migrate a couple of sites during a trial to see if the what Ben was saying would stack up. The migrations were very simple with very little work required by myself and I have to say that the performance of these sites was very impressive.

The next big thing for me was to see what the support was like. Being a small agency looking after 30+ websites it is extremely important to have the support to lean on should we need it. WP Engine had been great for support over the last 8 years so this was a big thing for me. Ben setup a Slack channel for us to use and I have a say that since that moment the support has been second to none. Me and my development team all use this channel and the greatest compliment I can give is that this channel is like having an extension of our dev team. No matter how big or small the issue is, they are always friendly and accommodating and the bit I love is that you’re always speaking to the same people who start to know and understand your sites.

So after passing the performance and support acid tests I have now fully migrated all of our sites from WP Engine. I want to thank Ben and all his team for making the migration process as seamless and as pain free as possible and I look forward to a great partnership together. I could not recommend these guys enough.

I'm so glad I came across Rocket.net and decided to sign up. I was previously on Flywheel hosting, which I admittingly didn't have any major issues with, but just found them to not be the shining star they once were. Flywheel doesn't have any server locations on the East Coast of the US and my websites hosted there were starting to load slower and slower. And, I couldn't believe they took 48 hours to do a migration, something a $99/year shared hosting plan company does in a few hours at most.

Switched to Rocket and absolutely every single one of my 10 websites loads 2-3x as fast as they did on Flywheel. PageSpeed Insights went from yellow to green on almost every site. It goes to show what performance optimized hosting can really do for WordPress. Rocket's customer support is always quick to respond when I put a ticket in, and they handle most of my migrations within an hour. The dashboard is basic but has everything you need.

If I had to nitpick at something, I would say that I wish they had the option to add-on one site at a time for a fee with the agency plans, so when I went from having 10 sites to 11 I didn't have to upgrade all the way to the 20 site package. But most hosts don't do that any more and it's not a big deal.

Bottom line is this is the best hosting for WordPress that I've ever come across after trying around a dozen hosts. You should definitely switch your hosting to Rocket, for an individual site or for your entire agency!

When you move into hosting of this nature it's going to be more expensive. If you want slow ok ones look at ones affilate-ran blogs shout about (hostgator, bluehost etc). Rocket.net are not as big and relatively new. But from the experience you would think they are big and well established. Their UX is literally the best I have ever seen not just on hosting platforms but on any website. Support speed and quality, documentation, migration experiences, ease of use, are exceptional. And the speed - holy cow. Could you get better value for money? Sort of - if you value your time at 1 cent/hour cloudways will give you a simliarish end result, with way worse help, a terrible interface and hours spent learning things. WP-Engine gets great reviews but is more expensive for the same package as you have to buy the Cloudways CDN and security upgrades, and you only get 1/10th of the visitors. Yes I want email built in, and a few other things. My ideal hosting plaform would have devs they vet you can pay to fix your website problems that aren't hosting related (finding wordpress help is horrendous these days). But make no mistake - I will never probably never leave Rocket.net because they give me the same feeling as when I looked at my iMac retina screen in 2015. Awe.

Amazing service from the Rocket team. Always online to answer questions very quickly by chat. Team with a lot of knowledge about Wordpress.

Used Kinsta before, they are unable to cache the checkout pages and but due to limitation of PHP workers the site still are really slow during big product launches. After moving to Rocket.net this limitation is completely removed. The website can now easly handle 40 orders per minute, where on Kinsta it was maxed out at about 4 orders per minute.

Also Ben and his team are really helpfull if things are not going as they should be. They saved one of the biggest product launches of our client!

It's fast, secure, and robust. 4 stars for the hosting platform. 1 star deducted because of over-promises than what they deliver, and very slow fixing of bugs in the control panel (A tab was wrongly named and I reported it a few months back. They still have not renamed it. It's just as simple as renaming it).

I've attempted countless methods to achieve a consistent A-rating on Google PageSpeed Insights for WordPress sites, to no avail.

If short (Astra (T-Shirts Store template) + WooCommerce + Elementor + perfmatters = an average of 99 points on mobile. 99!!! FCP - 1.3s, LCP - 2.3s. On mobile!! How much time did I spend... how many different combinations... And here, for 30$, don't even think about not trying it, I'm serious now! It's only worth $1, no need to buy a domain, roket provides a test. Without the perfmatters plugin, the speed is consistently 70-80 points on mobile in pagespeed.

I've been frustrated with a shared web hosting provider and their poor servers for quite some time. Customer support would get back to me within couple of days blaming the site's poor performance on my theme or plugins. I even made a very simple Wordpress site with no plugins using a default theme just to prove that there was an issue with their servers. There would be a blank white screen for couple of minutes before a site would slowly start loading and it would be completely unresponsive while trying to work inside the admin dashboard. Receiving emails from them stating that they were working on the issue and they would get back to me when it was resolved was getting old. As much as I didn't want to switch the web hosting provider I finally made a decision to consider other options.
