I had the very same experience..

I had the very same experience... after placing my order, I received an email stating that my order was canceled and they would issue a refund in 5-7 days. When I called, they told me the driver had an accident, and they were sorry. When I complained about the 5-7 days for a refund, she told me to call corporate and complain. When I asked for her name or her supervisor, she hung up on me. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! RUN!!!

Cancelled delivery-- NO explanation

Ordered flowers 11/17 for a 11/18 delivery, via Roger Florist phone rep, as this company popped up at the top of the search page for the intended zip code. Flowers were to go to my niece and her husband in East Sandwich Ma.
On 11/21 I found an email in my spam folder from RogerFlorist stating order was Cancelled as it was 'undeliverable'. No explanation given! Also no phone calls had been made to let me know in a timely manner!
My sister said address was correct and that many flowers had already been sent.
I called the company 11/21/22 but the rep said no reason is ever given to them as to why orders are not delivered. Dumfounded, I asked 'aren't you located in East Sandwich, Cape Cod? '. He said 'no'. I asked
'then where are you located?'. He stated: New Jersey. This company is probably awesome for NJ delivery's but did not realize they had no presence in Massachusetts.

I had the same thing happen to me

I had the same thing happen to me. Took my money and then said it was undeliverable. They told me I would get a refund within 5-7 business days. After that time was up, they said give it a couple more days. Last Thursday they told me they were closed that day and will reply immediately the next morning. I wrote back “ Why would you be closed on a Thursday?”. No response. Luckily I had filed a dispute with my credit card company and sent them copies of the emails. They refunded my money but these people should NOT be able to continue scamming people! I will also file a complaint with the NJ Attorney General.

I had an almost identical experience…

I had an almost identical experience with ordering flowers for a funeral, flowers never coming, then charging my Credit card, exchange of emails that produce nothing, having them hang up on the phone, then block my number, the company is a big time scam. A racket.

Roger Florist/ rogerflorist.com is a scam business…

I saw an ad online and called the phone number 866-944-4401 on 10/24/2022. I spoke to a live agent who verified that RogerFlorist delivers daily to the Fl National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl. This verification is why I called instead of just completing the transaction online. I ordered the country basket arrangement at $55.99 reduced from $79.99 to thank someone who had treated me very kindly at that cemetery. There was to be no delivery charge.

Around 12:39 pm, I received this email from Roger Florist:

Hello Onda,

You just placed an order with us but unfortunately, we cannot do this delivery for you because we do not deliver to this area. We are sorry for taking the order.

I wanted to let you know quickly so that you can still have time today to send flowers to your loved one with another florist!

Since we cannot fulfill your order, I have already issued the refund and you will be seeing the full amount.

Refunds may take up to 5-7 business days to reflect back.

I am sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Have a nice day.

I immediately called my USAA bank where an agent told me that the payment for $74xx for Roger Florist was pending on my account and that no request for a refund had been made. I was told that this payment would be disputed as soon as this payment clears the pending status. The wait is because in many cases the pending amount just disappears. Then the bank said that in the future, Roger Florist would be blocked from making any transactions on my account.

I did call the original phone number of 866-944-4401 where no one answered. Then I also called 855-451-2339 where the agent just spouted off what was detailed in its email to me.

No refund received, no one answers the phone and 8 emails later no refund. This company is a fraud. Their website claimed ‘15 years of service’ yet their LLC was only registered 2/28/2022.
It’s sad that there are people out their willing to commit fraud and take hard earned money for a bogus order!!!
