We went into the show room and had a look around. Before someone came and spoke to us. The sales lady Sarah Simpson was very helpful & friendly. She emailed the quote over with in the hour. With all the information we was expecting thank you so much.

Have been in contact with Molly at Roof…

Have been in contact with Molly at Roof Maker regarding an issue I had with condensation on my roof light. She explained the whole process to me and was extremely helpful in resolving this issue. Excellent customer service, thanks so much Molly!

Brilliant and fast, good customer service

Even though I’m based in Scotland and Roofmaker are around five hours away, Stella was brilliant at arranging a visit as quickly as possible. The motor had worked perfectly for almost 10 years before finally wearing out. From my first call, Stella acted straight away and booked the fitters in. They were polite, efficient, and replaced the motor quickly. Excellent service all round.

Great customer service

Stella was extremely helpful and gave me plenty of options when my glass shattered after a roof tile fell onto it. I’d already been concerned about heat build-up in the summer, and Stella explained this could also be improved when replacing the glass, which was really reassuring. Great, knowledgeable service throughout.

Motorised Skylight

We had three skylights fitted just over 12 months ago one of which was powered by a motor to enable it to open. We have had a few issues with the control panel and rain sensor which have had to be replaced. More recently the motor failed to work when closing the skylight. Initially it was quite difficult explaining the situation to Roof Maker and getting the matter resolved however once the matter was escalated to Stella, she dealt with the issue very quickly and very smoothly and without any cost which was much appreciated. The skylight now seems to be working much better which we are very grateful for.

Stunning design, very poor service.

Stunning design, but non-existent after-sales and a "hollow" warranty.

While Roofmaker’s products initially transformed our extension with their unique design, the ownership experience has been a nightmare. We’ve faced a chain of failures:
• Installation Issues: Incorrect motors were supplied, forcing our electrician to charge for a double install.
• Product Failure: A unit failed after just 4 months. It took 6 months of chasing just to get a diagnosis (a faulty control box/rain sensor).
• The customer service Wall: Despite spending £7k+, I’ve been met with empty promises from the top (Director) down. A year later, the unit is still broken and I have spent hours emailing and on the phone to this company. I am now left having to seek alternatives to cover expenses and finally get the windows repaired.

The Bottom Line is they are great windows if they work, but if they don't, you are on your own. If buying again I would save a lot of hassle and money and go with a reputable brand that values its customers and sells a reliable product.

Overall a disappointing experience

I ordered two pyramid blinds and one rooflight blind and paid Roof Maker to install them, as I wasn’t comfortable doing it myself. The total cost was just under £4,000, so I expected a professional finish.

Unfortunately, the installation was shockingly poor. Heavy blinds were secured using only four screws into plasterboard, and one blind was left with gaps of at least an inch along the top. The others were not flush or filled in as described they would be. The installers were completely unprofessional.

When I contacted the company to complain, Adam, who had been very accommodating during the sales process, provided extremely poor aftersales service. There was no concern for the quality of the workmanship, how bad the blinds looked, or the fact that I had to pay someone else to reinstall them properly.

There was no apology and no offer of a refund for the installation costs. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not a company I would recommend.
