I received wrong advice on my selection…
I received wrong advice on my selection of roof light. I was told that the curved version was more expensive than the flat version. This was totally untrue. I bought the flat (Glass) version which leaked, and had to be changed for the curved (plastic) version which was much cheaper. I was offered a refund on the return of the original roof light. However this was damaged on removal and is now usless.
Altogether a very bad experience.

I am really sorry you have had a bad experience with your rooflight purchase. There may have been breakdown in communication as our polycarbonate rooflights are always cheaper than a glass option.
However reference your first purchase I do recall you mentioning that the original skylight was incorrectly fitted by your installer. Neither the sponge seal was used nor the angled fixing brackets. As the your installer had discarded these we sent you out replacements free off charge and advised on the correct method of installation.
As you mentioned we even offered to issue a full refund on return of the glass rooflight despite the problem being an issue with installation and not the product itself.
We hope you are now happy with the replacement dome

Not an unalloyed success. Bought Skyguard shed roof kit. Wrong size of EPDM sheet supplied initially so had to delay fitting. Glue supplied in two unmarked small rectangular tubs (similar to ice-cream tubs), not the branded tub shown on the website (so no environmental/handling info). The lids were v difficult to remove as there was dried glue in the edge seals. EPDM had a join in it and was v difficult to get to lay flat. Might be tempted to go for a thicker sheet next time, although that would probably complicate the fitting.
