Thank you for your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear that your experience was let down by our communication and the issues with your delivery.
You’re absolutely right to expect clear updates, and we apologise that you didn’t receive an email confirmation and had to contact us for information. We also regret the inconvenience caused by the failed first delivery attempt, this should have been properly coordinated to ensure the correct equipment was available.
We’re glad to hear that other aspects of your experience were positive, but we take your comments seriously and will use them to improve both our communication and delivery processes going forward.
If there’s anything further you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’d really appreciate the opportunity to make things right.
Kind Regards

We’re very sorry for your experience and the confusion caused.
Unfortunately, while we do stock these roofing sheets, we were unable to arrange delivery to the Shetland Islands at a feasible cost. Due to the location and transport limitations, the shipping charges from our carriers were significantly higher than expected, which meant we could not supply the order in a practical way.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to be told there was no stock available, and we apologise for the miscommunication on our part. We should have explained the situation more clearly.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we’ll use your feedback to improve how we communicate delivery constraints in the future.
Kind regards
Harry Miles

The experience was great
The experience was great. From the outset, Roofing Outlet confirmed they had exactly what I needed and were very efficient regarding stock and delivery timelines. While the delivery company let them down, they stepped in and resolved the issue quickly. This demonstrated a high level of customer value and accountability. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

4 UK10 electric velux blinds.
Order 4 blinds only 2 turned up. Sent 2 emails to no avail. Although they turned up on the Monday it would have been nice to have a bit of communication back.

Thank you for your review, and I’m really sorry for the frustration caused by your experience.
We understand how disappointing it must have been to only receive part of your order, and even more so not to hear back after reaching out. That’s not the level of service we aim to provide.
I’m glad to hear the remaining blinds arrived on Monday, but you’re absolutely right, better communication from us would have made a big difference. We’ll be reviewing what happened here to ensure we respond more promptly and keep customers better informed in situations like this.
If there’s anything further we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’d really appreciate the opportunity to put things right.
Thank you for your patience.

Dear Seumas.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration.
We did attempt to contact you at the time to explain that we were unfortunately out of stock of Cromapol, which caused the delay in dispatch. We regret that our communication did not reach you or was missed.
As the item could not be fulfilled, a full refund was issued via PayPal. We understand this process may not have been as smooth as expected, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
We are actively reviewing our stock management and communication processes to ensure this does not happen again in the future.
Tekcryl roofing compound 20kg tins
I need to take care of an elderly customer, she didn't need the expense of a replacement flat roof but hers is showing signs of splits & age. Best price I found anywhere was on Roofing Outlet - arrives a couple of days later, I was very impressed with the packaging - very thick cardboard box with a heavy duty cap and base within. I ordered 3 x20kg tins and no dents.. Just spot on. I'm waiting for a warmer dry spell to brush this onto the 55m sq roof. Incidentally, I saw a similar compound in Wickes for £208 per tin ffs!! Go with Roofing Outlet, easy website and simple to order.
