I ordered a ‘used’ roofbar footing from them, paid for it and got a confirmation email. It was £75, against a new price of £110. The next day I got a call to say they didn’t have the used one I’d purchased and asked if I’d consider trading up to a new one? I said they should honour the sale and just give me a new one. Halfords sell the same part new for £88, so there must be plenty of margin. They refused to, so I cancelled my whole order. Suspiciously like a scam to be honest. Advertise at one price and then talk someone into a higher price. Highly unprofessional. I’ll go to Halfords now. Avoid.

I accidentally ordered the wrong roofbars and Roofracks.co.uk were excellent. They called me personally, gave advice on how to send the wrong ones back, refunded the cost and sent new ones. It's great when it's so easy to reach a "real" person behind a web order. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I had cause to ask for a replacement part on a Thule bar and Luke was fantastic in not only responding super-quick to my initial query, but also getting the problem sorted to my complete satisfaction, all done without any hassle or need for me to chase up...great work, Thanks Luke.

bought Thule roof bars and 2 x cycle carriers good price for set. the delivery was exactly as promised. there was a minor issue with one of parts not suppliers fault but the aftersales (Luke) dealt with this very promptly and made sure all was ok i would rate my experience with this company as one of the best services i have had from an internet provider. polite staff good service the important issues covered and they sell a reputable product as well.

2 days before departing I broke a strut on my Thule roofbox, Roofracks responded very quickly to my email advising of the part number, I ordered it and it arrived the very next day and in time for me to fix it before departure..... Excellent service!

Just ordered two sets of snow chains from Roofracks / Snowchains in the UK. Very easily navigable, user friendly website with excellent Q&A section and instructions of which chains to buy for my car along with easily followed fitting instructions.
I asked a question via their website and received a very prompt reply straightaway from Luke in their customers services department.

I originally had asked my car manufacturer to supply snow chains, which they would have gladly done, but they wanted to charge a small fortune to change the size of my car wheels from 21inch to 20inch & fit winter tyres so they could fit their chains!! I checked out snow chains for the make of my car on the internet & found Roofracks / Snowchains straightaway. Found the options for my car and wheel size and ordered.

Bought this item online on Sunday, had an order acknowledgement on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday. Luke was very helpful and answered my questions very quickly.

Great service; I was in no hurry for delivery & have had no problems whatsoever with Thule kit over two recent orders. Luke offered really helpful advice regarding the most suitable carrier for our Kayak. Will definitely use Roofracks.co.uk again!

Used them on two occasions. First time no issue but used standard delivery. Second time ordered and used next day delivery, cost £15 which didnt seem unreasonable, otherwise would have been free given order, but keen to spend time cycling with family at weekend. Ordered thursday morning so expected delivery before weekend (live in central scotland, just off motorway). Waited in for three days. Order arrived in Perth on Sunday. Finally arrived on the monday. So wasted a precious weekend with the kids.

Contacted them to complain and point out inadequate delivery service, with poor response, hardly even apologised and no offer of refund. I definitely wont be using them again and I view the 'next day delivery service' as deliberately misleading.

Absolutely fantastic service. Not the cheapest online but in light of a bad experience with another online company, I decided to go with roofracks.co.uk due to their customer reviews. Timely delivery with a reputable courier company and excellent friendly customer services means I will be purchasing from these guys again. I ordered a Thule touring sport roof box which was delivered in excellent condition and with all the necessary paperwork and accessories. 5 stars!!

I had a query during the order process, but one quick call sorted that out. Delivery details were as arranged, and customer service emails were quick and courteous. Can't really ask for much more. Would definitely use again.

This company could not have been more informative and helpful when I recently chose a replacement roof rack. In my experience, it is quite rare to find a company that gives great personal service with very competitive prices. Highly recommended.

Outrageous.
I asked for advice on roofbox, Thule Touring 600. I needed box that opens on right hand side. So they told me it opens on drivers side and then just to avoid any confusion added - on the right side. On the basis of advice I bought that roofbox.
Box came with lock on the left and it opens on the left.
It also came with the different lock number than I requested.
They agreed to refund me, but insist I pay pick up charges of £50.

Never again.

Let's be clear here - this review is for roofracks.co.uk. There are a lot of companies with similar names out there, which may explain the broad range of feedback. My experience with the above was fantastic. Great product, competitive price and delivered the next day. Couldn't have asked for more !

The worst company I have ever dealt with.
Appalling customer service - smug and condescending.
Cheated / tricked out of money.
BEWARE before you part with your hard earned cash.
