I’m delighted to share that I passed my UK driving test with zero negative scoring — all thanks to ROOTS Driving School and my instructor, Masroor. From day one, he clearly explained his plan for my learning journey and stuck to it with complete consistency. Each lesson was structured and purposeful, focusing on exactly what I needed to prepare for the test.

After every session, Masroor would take the time to highlight what I did well and what needed improvement, always in a calm and supportive manner. That balance of honesty and encouragement kept me motivated throughout.

If you’re looking for a professional, patient, and results-driven instructor, I can’t recommend Masroor and ROOTS Driving School highly enough.

Masroor was an excellent driving instructor, who clearly has a wealth of experience in getting people to pass! Happily, today I was one of them. He is calm, and very clear with instructors, and does everything to ensure that you are driving safely and in the correct way, not just for the test but for the future of my driving experience as a whole. Excellent driving instructor - would definitely recommend to anybody in the Reading area. I was well experienced with the test route and I was always told when I made mistakes with the instructor Masroor. Passed first time with only 4 minors with about 10 lessons. The instructor also let's you drive without pulling you over every few minutes and shouting at you.

My daughter had a great experience learning to drive with instructor Muhammad Umar. He is confident, patient and consistent with his training approach. I saw a difference in my daughter's confidence in driving from the very first lesson! His calm and patient approach, clear instructions on how to drive and explanations on why things are done in a certain way made a lot of difference in her following these things. I was confident she would pass the test at first attempt and so she did- Huge thanks to Muhammed !!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Masroor enough! From the very first lesson, he made me feel completely comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He is incredibly patient, clear in his instructions, and always encouraging—never once making me feel pressured or anxious.

What really stood out is how much he genuinely cares about his students’ progress. He explains things in such a calm and concise way that everything just clicks. Even with just a week and a half of lessons, I felt truly prepared for my test—and I passed!

I took driving lessons at Roots driving school. Masroor is a wonderful teacher, very professional and patient. He went above and beyond to find a best time for my lessons. He explained and taught me with respect, patience and understanding. It was great journey from the very beginning.

I had Masroor as my instructor before my driving test — he’s a great teacher.
We did 8 hours of automatic lessons, and I passed with just 4 minors. His teaching style, patience, and clear instructions really helped me build confidence. Would definitely recommend him!

Lukas taught me how to drive from the day that I didn’t know what a clutch is all the way to the day of my driving test which I passed FIRST TIME, If your looking to get started on driving and pass without issues he is the instructor to go for.

Lucas is motivational instructor when it comes to driving lessons. He knows what assessors expect and will surelly help you to pass your test easily. No wonder people are passing in their first attempt. It was an opportunity to have him during my lessons. You can give him a trial.

A very successful experience. After true learning with a real targeted training, I built driving skills with confidence and commitment to a safe driving that was rooted by my Instructor 'Farzana'. She is very exceptional professional instructor, her serenity, high clarity of communication, real practical advice fixed my driving weaknesses and the result is here "passed my test from the first attempt in just less then a two months period”.
