The quality of mirror we got was perfect as was expected from the photos and amazing value for money. The ladies were lovely in rearranging our delivery and in recommending a fitter in London, who was absolutely fantastic!

We are really impressed with the recent serviced received from Rough Old Glass. Laura has been our main contact and has been extremely helpful throughout. The vintage style glass panels we've installed to the front of the breakfast bar have finished the room off perfectly.

I am an interior designer and have just taken delivery of two amazing antique framed mirrors from Rough Old Glass. They are gorgeous and have made my job easier as I could search for months to find two that suit my project so well. They have a fabulous selection as well as providing mirror glass for all kinds of project.
Their service was prompt and professional and the delivery was very easy to arrange with them even though they are located quite far from me in London.

I have bought 3 or 4 antique mirrors now over the last 18months on behalf of clients. The service has been excellent, and the mirrors received are stunning and have made such a transformation to each room they have been put in. I have been using Rough Old Glass to supply stunning antique mirror glass for years. The service they provide is second to none and the products they bespokely produce are fabulous. They have an extensive range of antique mirror glass and gilded finishes and work hard to expand their range with unique and interesting surface finishes. I would highly recommend them.

We ordered 3 antiqued mirror panels to fit our dining room wall.
On arrival to be fitted it was immediately apparent that the large centre panel was unacceptable as there was a large black cloud across the middle. The installer agreed with us and returned the glass. On phoning we were told that it was very little trouble to re-do the same glass so we should have it back within a week.
Next we received a call to say it would be two weeks before it could be installed which meant our house warming party had to go ahead with only half the mirror on the main wall.
However it didn't stop there, next we were told that the installer was off sick so it had to be a further delay, then he was moving house so even longer delay.
Finally they confirmed the Easter Monday that surprised us but we waited to see. Sure enough they phoned to say it would now be the next day, Tuesday.
Then the most laughable bit of all (by now all we could do was laugh at these clowns) they phoned to say they had forgotten to load it on the truck so it would have to wait till Thursday!!!
Of course we were not offered any compensation and they had insisted on all money upfront.

I ordered seven " Foxed" mirrors to very particular dimensions.
They arrived well within their quoted tolerances and arrived ahead of scheduled delivery date.
They are for my garden studio and we are truly delighted.

Highly recommended, I'll be writing to the company to say thank you properly, just couldn't be happier. We moved six months ago, and our very large, highly decorative, early Victorian mirror (which has been in my famiy for donkeys' years) got broken in the move – a 4-and-a-half foot piece of glass, very curvy shape, with bevel all around the edge. We contacted so many companies asking if they could replace the glass and restore to how it should be, and all replied saying they could or would not do the required hand bevelling on a piece of glass of that size and shape. Heartbroken, I didn't want the main piece replaced with plain glass because there are two other sections, both hand bevelled, it would have looked all wrong. I was beginning to think there was no-one who would do it. Then we found Rough Old Glass, who agreed to take the job on. The mirror was with them for a while, understandably, and arrived back this week. The job they have done is nothing short of BRILLIANT. It looks beautiful – when it's above our new fireplace, no-one will be able to tell the original glass was replaced. Add to that a fantastic service of collection and delivery from our house in North Somerset (and I saw how very carefully the mirror was transported), I just can not fault them. Lovely staff also phoned regularly to keep us updated. So a HUGE thank you to Rough Old Glass, who fixed a mirror and also a broken heart! I'm so happy to have it back.
