Brilliant delivery - both men were very, very helpful in getting all boxes into my home, taking all care.
Also, they called me ahead of the scheduled time, which is excellent, especially as I work from home. Recommended.

Good communication about time of delivery. The delivery lads rang to say they would be very late and check it would still be okay. Despite the lateness they took time to be careful with moving pictures etc out of the way and removing all packaging. They were polite and helpful.

Very poor delivery of my heavy item the driver just dump it down on the floor took photo and left me to lift it myself wasn't happy with the service as I have serious health issues

Two nice delivery men manoeuvred very heavy sofa bed through tight entrance space in pouring rain. They did a good job and rang before to give us 20 minutes notice that on the way.

I have nothing but praise for Route 1! I received a text notification offering a delivery date, but I needed to check something with them so called the customer service line. I spoke with a wonderful lady named Sam. She was super helpful and called me the day before delivery as she said she would to update me. The day of delivery came and the 2 person team were friendly efficient, placed the item exactly where I wanted it, showed me how it operated and checked to see if I had any questions at all. They took all the packaging away afterwards too, leaving my room neat and tidy. Perfect service all round. Thank you team at Route 1.

Delivery was quick and efficient and communications were clear and accurate. Our item was delivered on the day scheduled and in the time slot promised. Very happy with the service from Route1 - wish all delivery providers were this efficient and stress-free!

Extremely happy from ordering to delivery. Nothing was too much trouble for Andy at Brenthams (even when he was on holiday!). The delivery went very smoothly and the drivers were courteous and very helpful. Highly satisfied with the whole process.

Delivery of 2 Stressless chairs went without a hitch . The team followed address directions provided and not satnav location. Rang twice on day to give ETA so absolutely no complaints!

The delivery was of a large sofabed going into a flat on the second floor of a purpose built block.

Despite the size of the sofa the delivery men only took a brief look at the two route options and did not measure any of the doorways before deciding to access the block via the back door.

Having manhandle the sofa into the back door opening it was obvious that the sofa would not fit. At this point we measured the doorways to the front of the building which were 6cm wider. I asked the delivery team to use the front door but instead they opened the packaging and took off the sofa legs which reduced the size of the package but it was still very tight.

The delivery team then proceeded to push and squeeze the package through the back door.

The end result was significant damage to the sofa and damage to the back door and walls.

Then to top the whole terrible experience off the delivery team contacted the retailer where I had purchased the sofa and stated that I had caused all the damage by cutting off the packaging whilst they were out of the room. This despite the fact that I had two builders as witnesses to how carefully I had removed the packaging whilst the delivery men were present in the room.

Polite and helpful staff to speak to on the phone. Samples sent promptly and nicely presented. The sofa bed was ready for delivery earlier than anticipated and the delivery men were quick and efficient. We are very pleased with the upholstery and the comfort of the seating. The sofa bed has not yet been used but we are hoping that will also be comfortable. Many thanks.

The communication received prior to delivery was excellent and very professional. Item was a sofa bed. I paid extra for removable arms to aid the delivery up stairs. The 2 chaps just need educating on what constitutes a flight of stairs, mine turn a corner, they interpretted that as another flight. In total there are 15 steps then a landing, then 15 steps, two flights he tried to say it was 4. After a tense 15 minutes of him ringing his boss they then said they would attempt it but would have to unpack it. I pointed out i had ordered removable arms so fully expected it to be unpacked. I signed numerous disclaimers and my sofa bed is now in my top floor bedroom and looks fabulous. Would have been a better experience if I hadnt had to use google and AI to educate them.

The delivery was made well within the allotted timeframe. It was handled faultlessly and quickly; the two-man team was polite and helpful and demonstrated how the sofa bed operated, and unusually, took away all the packaging they had removed!
The sofa bed was well-packaged, in pristine condition and is all I had hoped for.

Another faultless transaction with these guys - their customer service is absolutely AMAZING! Highly recommended.

Getting a delivery date was difficult. Rather than offer a single date to reply to, why not offer available dates from a calendar, like most companies?
However, when a suitable date was eventually found, the delivery was within time expected but above all the two gentlemen who delivered were very pleasant, professional and washed hands to ensure fabric was not smudged. They could not have been more helpful so five stars to them! Makes all the difference. Thank you

As Deliveries go and I’ve had many bulk items delivered, this one was almost comically amateurish, if it wasn’t so disappointingly and frustratingly real.

Two guys turning up in a Luton Van to deliver 3 large boxes of average weight almost 100kg each, with nothing but a two wheel Trolley and what could only be described as a four wheel skateboard.

Despite the fact I did my best to find out how many boxes, sizes and weights and warn ROUTE 1 GROUP Fulfilment/Logistics ‘Going the extra Mile’ that we were in an Estate down a narrow 70yds lane, with no curb and no turning, they turned up with no way of getting the items bought to my house.

I was hoping they would at least be able to get the boxes through my gate and safely to the side of the house, but I could see straight away it was going to stay on the street in plain sight and in the way.

In fact they maintained they were only obliged to drop the boxes out of the Van onto my driveway and directly behind my car!

It took some careful and patient negotiation to get them to move the boxes out of the way to the side of the driveway and they only managed to do that because I had to help them.

The boxes would also have been laid out haphazardly if I hadn’t asked them to please stack them, like they were in the Van.

They argued they do not have a Forklift, which begs the question ‘how did they expect to get the boxes OUT of the Van if a Forklift was required to lift them IN !?

They also would not consider taking all the bulky packaging away with them.

So much for the ROUTE 1 moto ‘Going the extra Mile’ which should probably be changed to ‘Don’t give an inch’ or something similar.

It really was like being part of a ‘Faulty Towers’ or ‘Only Fools and Horses’ sketch and NO, I certainly won’t be able to recommend Route 1 Group Fulfilment/Logistics ‘Going the extra Mile’ because they do not life up to their own company name, moto or ethos and certainly do not know the meaning of any of the words in their grand name.

Staggeringly amateurish and incompetent in this day and age !

VERY GOOD SERVICE , UP TO DATE INFORMATION PROVIDED AT EVERY STAGE OF DELIVERY

Sofa bed delivered. The staircase was a bit tight for delivery but the delivery men took it apart and carried it up in smaller sections. Then they WASHED THEIR HANDS before unwrapping it and assembling it. Very impressed with service and product. Comprehensive demonstration on using it paying particular attention to safety.

Arrangement of delivery and contact prior to arrival were good. However, from the minute they arrived they seemed determined not to deliver my sofabed which had to go into a room a couple of metres from the front door. Despite the doorways being larger than the stipulated width they kept saying they couldn't do it. I had even phoned W&H to check that it would fit before I ordered it and was told there would be no problem. Having previously moved a sofa out of the room it was obvious that all they had to do was to bring it straight through the front door then turn it on it's end to move it through the door into the room. Something after much persuasion they eventually did. They said they had years of experience delivering sofas but this was not evident. A very negative approach and a stressful experience. Would put me off ordering another item from W&H if it was delivered by the same people.
