Excellent Wi-Fi and Customer Service - Highly Recommend
I have waited a month after installation, so that my review would be based on experience and can absolutely recommend Rural-WiFi.
We had been with our previous internet provider for more than 10 years and during that period achieved a maximum download speed of 4mbps and upload speed of (1-2)mbps.
With Rural Wi-Fi over the last month we have 5G service which across the day, has a typical download speed of (70-100)mbps; maximum of 240mbps and lowest download speed of (60-70)mbps. We don't upload much but here again the speeds are significantly improved at approx. 15mbps. Suffice it to say that we are thrilled with the service so far and only sorry that we had not heard about Rural Wi-Fi earlier.
Rural Wi-Fi were a pleasure to deal with from the initial contact enquiry with Sam, Patrick the installation Engineer was extremely knowledgeable. We had some Technical Issues in the first few days - Katie, Mia and in particular Ciara were absolutely brilliant in talking us through the resolution of the modem issue. Thank you all so much.
We look forward to them providing the high speed optic fibre when it comes to our area in the next 12-18 months.

Happy customer since 2021
Edit Jan 2026: I left RW in 2025 as I realised /I could get the same speeds of 4/5G from the main networks for 30% cheaper. I believe RW have been taken over/merged with Imagine communications and my favourite customer support staff have since left the company

I have been a customer of RuralWifi since late 2021 and the staff have consistently been extremely professional, extremely friendly and will always do their utmost to address any and all issues I have had. Ciara and especially Dawn (CS Manager) have been incredibly friendly, professional and patient with my concerns about issues actually outside their own control (Eir mobile data speeds and regional network capacity). Dawn has been notably unwaveringly tenacious in trying to resolve my speed/reliability issues and we have settled on a mutually agreeable resolution (including a refund for a router). The team consistently demonstrate what CS should be about in times when many company's responses are somewhat lacking (and often frustrating). The team at RuralWifi come highly recommended! Thanks all :)

The set up was fast and installation…
The set up was fast and installation was within 24hrs as promised.
The connection and speed is perfect.
There was always follow up from date of application until the installation.
The terms of contract were well explained.

A pleasure to deal with Rural Wifi, a youthful & energetic Irish owned company who is doing a fantastic job getting those of us in Rural Ireland connected; so appreciated! My designated customer support person couldn't be more helpful; prompt in communication & in my case problem solving installation issues & always so
cheerful in nature; nothing was a problem for her & I felt totally supported. Rural wifi installation partners also prompt with confirmation of arrival dates & a pleasure to deal with. Also followup phone calls, from Rural wifi on the day, to enquire how installation went. From the get go, my experience with rural WiFi has been great. The customer service is second to none, really helpful. The WiFi itself is great, we live in a very remote area and the speed and connection is brilliant.

Connection problem solved very quickly
I had an issue with my internet connection and Mia from support was on to me like a flash and the problem was resolved without any delay. That mirrors my previous experience when I signed up initially. Couldn't be happier. Rural WiFi is the best ISP I've dealt with, super friendly and efficient. The bigger companies could learn a thing or two.

Realiable company and Internet service
Getting my Internet set with Rural WiFi was so easy, great customer service. I Moved to a rural area without broadband and needed a reliable Internet to work from home. Nearly two years later, Internet has always worked perfectly since the first day. Not an issue in all this time. Highly recommended.

I was getting a ‘Connected no Internet’…
I was getting a ‘Connected no Internet’ error from internet - I rang Dawn in Rural Ireland and she had it sorted and fixed within 20 minutes. No delays waiting for someone to answer, Dawn knew the answer before I’d even finished explaining the issue, she talked me through everything simply and quickly! The ease at which this problem was fixed is honestly why Rural Ireland have a customer for life! I’ve had similar problems that have gone on for months with other providers (reason i left!) tech support like this is unrivaled anywhere!
