We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.
We have many years of experience in taking care of all our customers’ eye care needs and concerns. We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.
Our practices are located in Crystal Palace, East Dulwich Purley, Sydenham, Welling, and West Norwood. We look forward to welcoming you to the renowned Woodfalls experience.

The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

Excellent service, not so excellent pricing policy.
The service from the whole team is always excellent, it's wonderful to be treated like a person rather than a number.
I do not like the new policy of including advanced eye testing (OCT) as standard and not being able to opt out (of the additional cost).

OCT is now part of the private eye examination as standard due to its importance in detecting and monitoring eye disease.
The charge is not for the machine but for the expertise of our professional team in interpreting the results, we made the decision to incorporate it in every private examination in 2024, and that decision has proven to be invaluable for the health of many of our patients.

Straight forward and helpful
They were straightforward and answered questions honestly.
Service was good, and they were helpful about a problem with old glasses as well.
Not sure whether they would have sold me more than required if not questioned.

Linklater followed up one year on for…
Linklater followed up one year on for eye test as I have glaucoma to check on this condition, eye health and sight test. Do not need any further glasses as eyes are stable. Will reviewed in 12 months time.
