We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.

We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.
Our practices are located in Crystal Palace, East Dulwich Purley, Sydenham, Welling, and West Norwood. We look forward to welcoming you to the renowned Woodfalls experience.

The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

My experience with Pursers Opticians Purley started 8 years ago. I moved out from London twice (Cornwall, Guilford)but when I did my eye-test I went to Purley, Purses Opticians. Any other comments, I think it is superfluous!

Unfortunately you establishment is in…
Unfortunately you establishment is in the wrong place. It is most difficult for the aged and Disabled to get into. All the previous amenities like a cup of tea have now been removed. Other than that the waiting is long but the service of very good quality. It is a shame as I have been a Customers for many years but my mobility issues and the placing of your shop in Purley now do not coincide.

Outstanding service at Woodfall/Pursers (Purley)
For many years my wife and I have been to Woodfall Opticians (Pursers) for our annual eye test and, indeed, whenever we have needed any advice. We are always impressed and very thankful for the service we receive. A warm reception is accorded to us when we attend our appointments. The assessment we receive is thorough and the feedback from the optician is clear. Both of us have been referred for ongoing treatment regarding cataract and macula issues. In each case Debbie at Woodfall/Pursers has contacted the relevant clinic and kept us fully informed about progress. We are both very pleased with and thankful to all at Pursers (Purley)
