Update: Safehome said they would contact me with their reply from my post back in January. It's now March and no call. SHOCKER!!
The sales rep never identified himself as being with Safe Home Direct until we signed paperwork. We broke out contract with ADT because of this. The installer helped us with those fees and made a much better experience and we wound up sticking with Safe Home. However we recently had some trespassers and our next door neighbor had their fence kicked in. When I went to our new outdoor camera to obtain the footage it picked up I couldn't access it. When I called Safe Home to have them help me over the phone there was NO ANSWER! I left a message and 3 days later still NO call back. I was supposed to give the footage to the police officer investigating the case and wasn't able to. I certainly don't feel safe knowing there is no one on the other end there to pick up my phone call during my time of need. Isn't that why you have an alarm system? Now I have a 5 year contract with this company and certainly don't feel safe with them. Do your research before switching. I wish I stuck to my gut and never switched.

Andrew from safe homes just helped us upgrade our system. He was on time and provided an eta for his arrival. He was dressed professionally and presented himself clearly. His information was concise yet informative. He was familiar with our old equipment and shared the differences we could expect. Andrew was very nice and if the company is anything like their sales representative, I think we will be very happy. Well done Andrew!

We were very pleased with the professionalism and determination to achieve the best installation that Sean Holliday had. He worked everything precisely as it needed to be handled. The new system is definitely much different from the one we've used for the past 33 years; but it's easier to handle and seems to be more efficient. And of course, we anticipate the monitoring to be 100% better than what we had with the last company that we were sold to.

My poor experience has lasted the entire time I have had the system. We will buy out your load for the system you are leaving...........RIGHT! Salesperson led me to believe it would automatically be done. NO I have to call and request it. I did what they asked me to do on 4/1/24. got this response: Thank you for sending us this information. We will begin to process this buyout. Please allow 7-14 business days for this process to finalize. It is MAY 7th and I am still being billed for my OLD/ UNINSTALLED system as well as the loan that was supposed to be bought out!!!
The alarm constantly going off just when I open my garage door! I can't access the cameras! I am so angry I could scream!!
