Absolute garbage. Doesn't connect to WiFi and Scamhowse know it. Try and suggest returning it to China at you cost if you aren't happy. State will only refund if all packaging is intact. £21 to post to get £49 back when item isn't fit for purpose. They hope you just roll over and don't bother returning. Got refund via PayPal thankfully.

Unfortunately a rating of no stars is not an option! DO NOT BUY!! Like loads of other reviews on here - stopped working within days. Did all the WiFi stuff, sent photos then told that it's not working due to misuse or rainfall. Well who expected an outdoor product to not be waterproof?? Contact to customer services just goes round in circles. Can return to China at our expense for to be looked at and they 'may' repair so now they would have our money and the shoddy product. Absolute shambles - don't be fooled. Crap company!!!

Bad!!! Doorbell does not charge. No charger included but I had some that fitted. No paperwork received. No return address. Nothing on website for address. Contact us facility but received no reply in 2 weeks.

Bought this doorbell, and the product is faulty. The doorbell chimes continuously after one push, it drops out of Wifi frequently and loses connectivity.

Customer Service is very poor. I've been given instructions to follow that I have already done. Customer service agent will not accept that this product is faulty, and keeps pressing me to keep resetting the device. The have also asked me for video footage of me setting up the device, and want to see footage of how close my router is to the camera. On top of this they are asking me to disconnect everything from my wifi and only have the camera connected. All very unreasonable requests from them.

I am hoping to get a refund processed through PayPal.

Do not buy this camera! nothing but a poor/faulty product and even worse customer service.

Bought the doorbell and chime it arrived Monday and will not connect to WiFi, got in touch with safehowse who gave instructions which we had already tried, just received another email saying I have to return it to China and pay postage well and truly conned DO NOT BUY

If I could give zero stars I would. This product is shoddy, doesn't work, had nothing but issues trying to pair the damn thing to my WiFi, was even advised to get a new router at one stage even though I have the latest Virgin WiFi hub, just shambles from start to finish.

I've asked for a refund several times but I'm still to recieve a response that shows that my request has been taken on board.

I have been sent WiFi settings to try and various other pointless instructions but still no refund.

I'm not one for leaving bad reviews but this ticked me off no end and I would hate for anyone else to go through through same.

We are both over 70, wanted more security so bought this off advert on FB. Would not connect to our WiFi at all, kept emailing their helpline and having to wait till next day for a reply from China which was totally unhelpful. Contacted their email line in UK and got address to return for refund. Told it had to go back fully intact which we did to China, cost us another £16.60 to get it tracked. Then gets thro royal mail security to be told its hazardous because we put the batteries in. Told by Safehowse should have asked the courier to remove the batteries.
Going to evoke section 75 to see if we can get our money back, we are pensioners, followed all their instructions and appear to have lost money we can't afford because we wanted to be a bit safer in our homes.
PLEASE DONT BE FOOLED INTO BUYING THIS PRODUCT. Just got parcel returned from Royal Mail so we have spent £16.60 trying to return faulty goods To CHINA only to find we can't return them! Contacted them again by email told to send it back to China again if I wanted a refund....oh and in the original box which has now been opened by Royal Mail. I requested an English address reply was only to return to China. Needless to say as pensioners we cannot afford to resend back to China.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Absolute rubbish. Will not connect to Virgin hub 3 router. Their tech support consisted of a few screenshots of a generic hub, nothing relating to settings on the Virgin router. Virgin were brilliant and spent 5 hours trying their best to connect the video bell. The fully charged batteries went flat in 3 days before it had even connected. Safehowse now want me to pay to return a faulty/incompatible unit, and may refund the purchase price if they decide it is not faulty!!

Safehowse is not even worth a one star review! This company obviously likes to scam people into buying there products! I bought a doorbell camera from them Which arrived and I have not been able to use it as it will not connect to my wifi, I have contacted my internet supplier and there is no problem with it, false advertising and there reviews are all fake on the website! DO NOT BUY

Great images and it works but I'm having to charge the batteries every 3 days which is no good if you are away. It stated the batteries would last 3 months before having to charge. If you turns notifications off on the live feed battery doesn't drain as quick but that defeats the object

I, like many others bought this doorbell after reading reviews on Facebook. In hindsight I now think these are fake reviews. You will see that on any post written by safehowse, the comments have been turned off. So, my experience. First impressions appear OK. Connected to WiFi ok. Now the bad. When pressed, no notification to phone. It appears I have 3 phones connected which is right but none of us get a notification. Battery needs charged every 3 days. Because I have removed it so often, the tiny security screw is worn and struggle to get it out. Although a speedy reply form customern service, its really jist waffle. When I asked for a refund I was told to return to.....CHINA, with no damage and in original packaging at my own cost. I doubt I will see the money. Not my best buy but you live and learn. BEWARE!

The doorbell doesn’t connect to my WiFi and no real help from Safehowse and when I suggested sending it back as I believe the unit is faulty I was told I would have to send it back to China at my expense and if there were any marks on unit or packaging I wouldn’t get a refund. Typical Chinese crap copy😡😡😡

Total waste of money. Had issues from day one, it didn't give me notifications when the bell rang, took ages to load on the app then wouldn't connect. Battery needs charging all the time absolutely useless.
Contacted the company numerous times and had replies telling me it was my WiFi, I have no issues with the WiFi it was issue's with the doorbell!!
Finally I said I wanted a refund and was told if I returned it to China at my own expense then they would refund me, a faulty product and they expected me to pay for returning it. Nope!!!
So I contacted PayPal and raised a dispute and luckily I got my money back.

Total rip off not weather proof it comes from China lasted 4 weeks you will not be able to get refund from China also you need to charge the battery weekly has anybody had refund PayPal

Purchased a video doorbell and chime after looking at the pictures and reviews on Facebook. The problem came when I tried to pair the phone with my Internet. Even though I changed my router to 2.4GHz as requested I was unable to pair the phone. This was in spite of many lost hours trying to make it work - even getting help from BT my Internet provider. When it came to sending it back and getting a refund they gave me an address in China and the return costs were all to be at my expense.

I would not recommend this doorbell. The battery barely lasts 2 days. The manufacturer stated it would last up to 3 months. I bought replacement batteries and still no joy. I contacted the company, but no reply. It does take good images but if it does not last, then it cannot protect your home if you are away. Please buy something else.

Terrible product..... purchased 2 bells as an outdoor camera. Was damaged by rain within 2 days. Company told me if it rained the camera are definitely damaged. Said they need to be INDOOR or undercover. Items are sold as all weather resistant. They say that means wind not rain. Raised complaint with PayPal. See what happens. Absolute joke and a rip off. They say t&c s state not covered by water damage. Sent me a shocking message saying rain is clearly made from water therefore still water so not covered. Wouldn’t even give it a1 star. 138£ down the drain!!!!!!

Having purchased this item it did not work so I emailed the company who informed me that I could send the item back to CHINA! I purchased this in the UK and the return address on the packing was Southall, UK. When I questioned this and said I would return it to the address in the UK I was told that I could send it where I wanted to but I would not get a refund if I did! Good customer service! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Read Trustpilot reviews and not the reviews on their website, which strangely are nearly all 5 stars. This is an inferior copy, don't be fooled by the cost, you will inevitably pay more in the end. I shall end by saying that the person representing the company was very argumentative when I was putting my point across. Never again!
