The sales lady didn't say a word about having to buy a new hot water heater. Ours is only 5 yrs old but this tub takes 80 gal. It was installed 6 wks ago and we haven't been able to use it yet because the drain won't close and it runs out of hot water after running enough to cover your feet. I have called 4 times and spoke with our sales lady 2 times but nobody will contact us. My husband hates it. It cost $22,899.00 and is the worse investment we have ever made. I was told I could fit my dogs in it to bathe them. A lie. I can hardly fit me. The door swings in leaving you no room for your legs. We just want our old tub and shower back. Don't waste your time or money.

The salesman was a great listener and really cared about us getting the best for my Dad. The installer was quick and made no mess. They also installed a month earlier than expected.
Salesperson Tina was very knowledgeable and thorough. Installation was flawless. Not a scratch on the walls. Men swept the driveway clean clean clean. I didn’t even have to dust the house! The tub is wonderful. I like the micro bubbles feature the best for my skin. The water jets take away all my aches.
We had a great experience from the salesperson presenting a great product explaining everything about the product and the steps involved in having the tub installed. The installers were great, they installed the product and cleaned up afterwards. The installer explained everything about the tub, he did a great job. We love the tub, it is a great tub, and the experience was great.
Professionalism and expertise in complete explanation of all aspects of install and operation.
Salesman did follow-up after install to make sure install was done correctly and we were satisfied with installation and operation.
Installers checked all equipment before beginning installation; did walk-through explaing what they would do and provided added protection to floor on path they would use; cleaned areas in each step of needed construction; and were meticulous in making sure all installation was properly secured and sealed.
Installers also provided a complete demonstration and explanation of features and usage.
In all, from sales pitch to installation, our experience with Safestep was exemplary! ...and after usage, we couldn't be happier with our purchase.
We should have been told that the tubs was to be put on a finished floor as we held off from retailing our floor until install was completed…instead we went through the entire install only to find out after the complete install that the tub was on legs…now we have a beautiful tub sitting on a bare plywood floor that is not watertight or water proof

ok the man came by and sold me the tub about three weeks go by and the installer came and put the tub in.
then the trouble started the installer said the breaker box on the house was no up to code. and the tub needed to wired in. about three weeks later safe step drew a electrical permit and the power company came and turned off the power. there so called electriction
was no licenced in the state great actually had no license, so no the electriocal inspector refuses to turn the power back on. a local company saved the day by. promising to do the job right. about three weeks later they put in a new breaker box corecetley and left. all the while no work from safe step i had to rent gererators out of pocket while the work was bieng done .about three more weeks go by and safe step calls for the rest of there money. on the same day as the call i noticed the lables on the hot cold part were gone i called safe step they said the tub warrenty was no good because of a lien on the tub for. non payment they had never called me through all the porblems they caused never i mean nerver deal with these loosers.

The company did not inform me of their arrival prior to the day before the followup inspection or to confirm install of the handrail like was promised. They changed the delivery and install date, and only gave me one day notice instead of the 4 weeks I originally planned for. The inspection failed because the inspector did not know how to do the inspection. Safe-Step sent their repairman out for the re-inspection, but he said that was not his job (he doesn't work for Maricopa inspection offce), and I have yet to receive a written document of a "passed inspection", from the Maricopa inspection office, and it has been 1-1/2 months. I was not provided with a license # for the contractor. The company asked for an order # and serial # for the tub for which original paperwork did not supply. The down payment I wrote a check for is listed as $4,000 when it was $3,000. Once I learned of the serial # two months later, I learn that the tub is a 2020 model when it was supposed to be brand new. In the meantime, I don't feel comfortable using the tub because I haven't received a "pass" for the inspection, and I want a safe shower/tub before using it. No one was getting back with me despite my phone calls and request through BBB. This is after having already paid $20,000 for the tub. I finally got notification in writing that the tub is safe to use, but that was after two months of waiting after the installation, writing to BBB and Trust-Pilot review. Since writing this review, Safe Step sent me a notice that the tub passed inspection; however, the inspector did not show up in person and went only by the photos provided. The hot and cold water is in reverse, and I was informed that I would need to use the water in the opposite direction with cold on the left and hot on the right. The contractor should've stopped the installation at that time and informed me of this problem and come to a solution for that, but instead told me about this after the install was complete. Instead, they are placing this dilemma on me to resolve. I was also informed that the water heater may not be sufficient for the 50 gallon tub when my water heater is 40 gallon. My water heater is almost brand new, and even if I were to request a 50 gallon one, the plumber told me that a 50 gallon won't fit in the location where the original one is located...this should've been addressed at the time, the salesman should've known that a 50 gallon one would not fit into that space.

The installers did a great Job! Very nice & attitude was great!
Est investment ever!
The product is good but the sales person sucks. First the sales person was late the day of our appointment then when it came to the financing part he was rushing, we asked what the monthly payments will be he rushed to say it was just in the $200 range and submitted the application.
He insisted that all the information will be sent to us.
When we got our bill, yes the minimum payment was in the $200 range but it will cost us more in the interest rate and longer to pay off, but if you pay a triple the amount will save like $13K on the interest rate and pay it off with in 3 years.
We felt like we got scammed but I would not recommend this company to any of our friends and finally since the sale person is very unprofessional about the payment towards the product,
I would like to file a compliant ,please let me know where to address this.
I would defiantly like to prevent others from signing papers before getting all the necessary information on the financial part.

They responded to my 1 star review with a fake and phony response to email them.I emailed them several times, and no reply. Then they got it deleted, for some reason.I had to email TP and ask why? Is TP a crooked company too?
This is a pure scumbag company ,they preys on the elderly.
Stay away from this extremely expensive scam.
Walk in Showers start at $12K+++ with a shower rod.A door and a seat add about $3k each! About $18K+ for a walk in shower with a seat and door, and basic smooth acrylic walls. If you upgrade the walls add $3-5K++.
The Walk in tubs are $20-30K..
They will offer financing for 180 months!
The tub seems to work OK. The main problem is that it is so small a normal size person would not be able to get in it. I am 4ft 11in and I have a hard time getting in and out. I feel our bathroom was too small for this and when I asked the salesman about it he said it was fine. I’m very disappointed because of this. We are seniors & it shouldn’t be this difficult to get in. Mary Gordon

I hated that I was never offered the option to have Nickel instead of Chrome. I have a hard water issue and Chrome is so hard to keep clean. No agent said the option of Nickel. I spoke to a guy on the phone about this problem and he went on and on about getting a house filter system to fix the problem at an estimated additional cost of $3,000 for a half of year to a year. He also said that I should have asked for Nickel but how was I supposed to know that Nickel was offered.

I am not comfortable with how the tub operates. I have only used it twice in the 2 months that I have had it. I keep the operations manual next to the tub, but every time I get ready to use the tub, something new comes up. I don't like all of the "bells and whistles" on the tub. It will take time to get used to them.

The installer was great and friendly as well as the electrical contrators that was sent out with them. Very thoughtful. Being seniors they helped move furniture etc.
