A fantastic trip loved by the girls and a chance to regress back to being a child😂
Staff were super and very helpful. Great accommodation and well taken care of there
Activities were loved by all -snowmobiles, huskies and who could forget the elves.
Finland is certainly a place we will visit again

Wow ...what an adventure
We have just returned from our 2 day aurora package with Santa's Lapland
The whole experience was so magical
The team kept us well informed so I didn't have to think of anything
The activities were all included and we never felt rushed and we got to experiment the magic of Lapland.
The staff were fun and the kids loved the elves !
Thank you Santas Lapland for creating such an epic holiday

We recently visited Santa’s Lapland, and while the overall experience was magical, there were some aspects that let it down.
Starting with the flight from Manchester, we expected a more Christmassy atmosphere to kick off the trip. Instead, it was just a standard Jet2 flight with no Santa’s Lapland branding or festive magic onboard. The cabin crew didn’t add to the Christmas spirit either, which was disappointing and made the start of the trip feel less special.
When we arrived, the activities in Lapland were incredible. Husky rides, reindeer sleighs, and tobogganing were absolutely magical and created memories we’ll cherish forever. Meeting Santa was, of course, the highlight, and the snowy scenery was stunning.
Unfortunately, there were some logistical issues. We had to wait on the coach for around 40 minutes before collecting our outfits, which was frustrating, especially since our hotel was right next to the collection point. When we finally got on the bus, it was packed with large sacks of gear, leaving very little room to sit comfortably.
The hotel room was another letdown. It was extremely small, and there was nowhere to hang wet clothes or access a drying room, which made it difficult to manage after spending time in the snow.
Overall, Santa’s Lapland had magical moments, but a few improvements—like a more festive flight experience, better logistics, and thoughtful accommodations—would make it perfect. It’s worth the trip, but there’s room for improvement

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Flew with Titan Airways on the special Santa’s Lapland plane and the crew were excellent with games and songs during the journey. Absolutely flawless airport pickup and check in experience at the Hotel Riekonlinna. Also great service from the Lapland Safaris team getting us all sized up for suits.
Search for Santa day was so well organised. We didn’t wait in a queue for anything and the numbers are obviously well managed so it felt like a very personal experience. Husky ride was a highlight (although hard work if you’re the driver!) and meeting Santa was genuinely magical especially when he pulls out the letters your kids wrote and posted to him!
Would not hesitate to recommend Santa’s Lapland to anyone looking for the perfect Lapland experience.

Excellent holiday for all the family
Value for money
So much to see and do
Cannot fault any part from the moment we boarded the plane and returned back to uk

I was incredibly disappointed with the size of our room for a family with 4. We paid £6,200 for our holiday and I don't feel like it represented what we were sold.
One member of Santas Lapland staff even admitted that they totally understood where I was coming from and it was "embarrassing."
We met a family of four who booked 2 weeks earlier and got a huge lodge with 2 bedrooms and a sauna. And it was only £4k. I mentioned this and was hit with the dynamic pricing argument. But it just all didn't feel right.
ALSO - a big watch out. the hotel was advertised as a 4 Star, but I kept being told that a 4 Star in Finland is not the same as it is in the UK. Feels a bit dodgy to do that and it was a line I heard from staff a few times.

Incredible experience from start to finish. A truly magical experience for all ages. Extremely well organised and professional with extreme attention to detail. Still thinking about how amazing this experience was.

From the moment we checked it at the airport, everyone did their utmost best to ensure that we all had the very best time - games and singing on the flight, mischievous elves at the airport, enthusiastic transport hosts and all the young people who entertained us in Santa's village - all fabulous. Driving a team of huskies was something I've always wanted to do. The look on my young grandchildren's faces when Santa pulled their letters from his pocket was priceless. Plenty of activities to keep everyone busy for the whole 'search for Santa' day.
We stayed in a 2 bed apartment on half board at Riekonlinna which worked well for us.

Although the staff was friendly and helpful it is not the magical place we thought is was going to be. There ws no decorations or festive spirit and lack all inspiration. There not much to do or look at. The husky ride and reindeer ride were very good though. Very disappointed overall

More Butlins than Disney
Kids loved the search for Santa and the day in Lapland.
Rest of the short break was incredibly poor and below standard. Hotel is a 1970s youth hostel, food is beyond dreadful. Drinks prices are sky high (I understand that it’s heavily taxed) I do feel sorry for the hard working reps who appear to have very little training and read badly from poorly written scripts.
For the same price I would have taken our family on a 5 star all inclusive for 10 days in the sun

We got back from our 2 night trip to saariselkä yesterday evening.
No matter how much time, effort and planning you put into something, some things are completely out of your control.
My 7 year old son started being ill on our first night and didn’t stop until tea time on our last night 😢 it meant he (and me) missed all of the search for Santa Day and all the activities. I was gutted for him, he on the other hand was so poorly he didn’t even have the be energy to get out of bed or talk.
After speaking to the hotel (Riekonlinna) rep (Martin) from #SANTASLAPLAND he got in contact with SCV and promised they would do all they could to still make our trip special, they would get a video message from Santa (which they did and Santa was very sad to hear Harley was poorly)
They then went even further…they arranged for a rep (Jake) to pick all 5 of us up after breakfast on our last morning, transport us to SCV and escort us around to do as many activities as possible including SEARCH for SANTA! 🎅🏻 Beyond grateful and thankful to #SANTASLAPLAND who ensured my little boy had the “best day of my whole life” (my son’s words) in about 2 hours before dropping us at the airport. They went above and beyond and the staff were/are amazing.
Highly recommend the company.

This is the best holiday we have ever done! This was our second time. The first time round booking it we thought, gosh that’s alot of money. But it so so worth it! All the staff are amazing from start to finish they are always around to help. The experiences you get whilst there are amazing! Seeing Santa is the most magical thing your child will ever see. My little girl was amazed Santa was holding her actual letter.
The huskies!! They were my all time favourite, I could do it over and over again. Just fab! Can’t fault anything. I would do it all again tomorrow

What an incredible experience. The Santas Lapland team are superb and everything is very well planned/organised.
We stayed in the saariselka holiday club (3 room apartment) which was huge, warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and buffet tea at the hotel were spot on and the festive dinner was really good as well. We have three VERY picky eaters who didn't go hungry at all - so much so we came back with all the additional snacks we took with us.
The search for Santa day was awesome and one we won't forget in a long while. Just a word of warning, you will be expected to drive a husky sled (we are a party of 5 - 2 adults, 2 kids under 7 and a 9 year old) and both adults in our party got split over two sleds. we also got flipped out of our sled at speed due to a very lumpy course (we heard others did as well as the day progressed). Thankfully no injuries to humans or the lovely huskies so no harm done. The SL team handled this very well - thank you :-)
If you are across the reindeer side, the toilets are porta cabins with non-flushable festival style loos - disgusting is the only description so we recommend heading to the restaurant as they have clean flushing loos!
Overall this was a magical trip that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Our kids loved every minute and had a whale of a time sledging down any slopes/hills/piles of snow they could - way more fun than sitting on a beach (their words).

Magical is the only word I can use to describe it. As a family we became immersed in the experience, I couldn’t fault anything or anyone.
It’s the best adventure we have ever had. From start to finish we were so looked after.
Out children were 7 & 10 so we were slightly worried about our eldest but the look on his face when Santa had his letter in his hand was priceless.
I won’t ever forget the precious moments, our hearts are so full 🎅🏼🤶🏼

For starters, the trip was so well organised and the staff really make the effort to ensure everything runs smooth and the families have a great time.
Every single staff member, from booking, to the staff at Santas Lapland, the elves, Santa, were so friendly and helpful and were so good with the children. On arrival you are directed to collect your complimentary thermals suits/boots/gloves then given a welcome run down of events from one of the reps. The activities included were fantastic. Husky sled ride, reindeer ride, snowy crazy golf, snow hockey, skidoo’s, toboggans, igloo, ice bar. All so enjoyable. And of course the special sleigh ride to see the ‘big fella’! The Santa visit wasn’t rushed and when he pulled their ‘santas letters’ out of his pocket the look on the kids faces was priceless. The whole trip was magical and as a family we cannot recommend it enough. We will definitely go again.

Fantastic holiday. The elves and reps were also fantastic. Saariselka is a winter wonderland. Would suggest to expand activities at Satas Lapland with suggestions made on the previous review - nevertheless we throughly enjoyed ourselves.
I would give 5 stars if company didn't operate dynamic pricing

Excellent service throughout. The resort activities were great and staff entertained the children non stop. Everything was well organised and I would 100% travel with Santas lapland again. Provided all the winter wear which was great. Saariselka is a beautiful resort. Hotel Tunturi was quite basic but isn't suited us fine. Clean and had everything we needed and good position for where breakfast and evening meals were.
