I ordered a waterbutt ages ago, but had no communication from the company re any delays, so contacted and asked to cancel. They messed around with it, before claiming to have sent me several emails, and then that they had refunded me, and wanted the butt returned. I had no e-mails from them so said so, next thing they copy 'emails' sent to me where dates are all wrong ande-mails contradict each other. I looked for my refund in my account, there was none. I checked my credit cards, just to be sure I didn't pY with them, nope. Went back to the company and got told check with your bank, I did, no refund. Company still claim to have refunded me, and have basically said tough, we refunded youbut won't give any evidence that they paid me back. Completely dishonest, lying and cheating company. As with all the other recent negative feedback, I advise not to use, they can not be trusted!

Placed an order on 2nd August - it finally arrived 6th September.
I called on 15th August and was told they’d be there by the 17th. They didn’t arrive. No further update over the next few weeks. No response to emails.
Absolutely rubbish service.

Ordered water butts in July and the wrong one was delivered. They promptly collected the water butt the following day with assurances that my water butt would follow shortly after. 2 weeks later still no sign and each customer service operative gives the same "we haven't heard back from our supplier yet I promise you I'll chase this up and get back to you". Which they never once have done. So 6 weeks after ordering I'm still using tap water to water the plants and still no sign of my order. I've told them now to cancel my order and I'll give my custom to B & Q. Would not recommend this company at all.

Checked item in stock before I ordered. Chased twice and assured it would be delivered within 14 days. After 17 days, they claimed that their couriers didn't have enough lorries. Staff were polite but excuse was pathetic. Unable to give me a firm delivery date so I cancelled the order. After 4 days, I sent an email to chase my refund which they then made. Maybe Bournemouth Water Co should no longer allow its website to be used as a platform for these people to advertise.

My experience with dealing with this company has been terrible. I was referred to them from my water company as I wanted to buy a couple of water butts and other items and so I did not do any due diligence , big mistake. I placed my order around 6 weeks ago. I was promised I would receive my order 10 days after placing the order. This never happened. Despite repeated phone calls and emails - still nothing . Their customer support just lie to you. I was told that I would get a callback on a number of occasions and this never materialised. Sophie and a few other ladies at customer service just read from a standard script and promise you that you will receive the order and that it has already been despatched and is just with the delivery company. Again, this is just a lie and all they intend to do is to charge your credit card and not deliver the items. Do not use this company unless :

a) You dont mind the constant lies
b) You like to deal with people who really do not take ANY pride in their job and great customer service is not important to them
c) You dont mind being ripped off
d) You dont care if you receive the order or not
e) You dont care if they say that you CANNOT cancel your order once placed.

This company deserves ZERO stars but the minimum you can add is one.

Do not deal with this company and do not trust anyone you speak to including Sophie, Lizzie, Iza etc as they really do not care how they treat you and will not amount to any greatness in their lives as they lack morals and professionalism....

Ordered a double water butt kit and advised it would arrive within 10 days. It didn't and I chased it every day for four days. Mixture of responses, the most interesting being that they had over 300 late orders with a supplier and it was getting ridiculous. People on the phone are friendly enough but are not equipped with the power to resolve the query.
Finally got a response that the order would be delivered - two weeks late. Stayed in for the order and only half of it arrived. Back to customer services who say that the supplier has split the order and they will come back blah blah blah.
Disappointing. Ready to give up

Poor quality products. I ordered two water butts which on top of being delivered a full 5 days over the stated time arrived oval shaped with round lids and very damaged boxes. Somewhere along the line someone had stacked something heavier on top. Was promised that they would be collected next day which happened and new ones would be received by the end of the week. This was then changed to the butts must be checked out first then a replacement would be ordered. At this point I asked for a refund as clearly working fast does not exist in the company and in the time it had taken to sort out I could have filled these butts twice over. Anyway, refund received all good I bought suitable butts from B&Q for less and then two weeks later I come home to two large water butts sat on my drive. Again I make contact to have them removed. The lady I dealt with was very prompt and professional but something is seriously wrong behind the scenes. If you want your products quickly go to a DIY store and avoid this company.

Ordered a tap that would save me money, tap cost £7.50 plus postage of £2.85, item didn't fit so I paid £2.85 to send back to them and was then told that they would only refund me the cost of tap and that I would have to pay for both postage so am now nearly £6 out of pocket....save water save money.....really??? This is the managers response....

We have a section on our website named “Tap Aerators, how do they work?” Within this section, it is explained that although we strive for the item to be used on the majority of UK Taps, the adaptors we provide will only fit 95% of taps. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the suitability with the manufacturer before purchase, or should they choose to purchase the item, they understand that as per out terms and conditions, any returns after the 7 day cancellation period will result in the refund excluding any P&P charges.

After comparing a number of websites, I've placed two orders this month with 'SaveWaterSaveMoney' and they surpassed expectations both times. The first was a water butt that was delivered in a couple of days, all good. Then later I needed an accessory in a hurry, rang customer services, who rang the warehouse then called me back within minutes. I placed an order over the phone, paying a bit extra for first class postage; this was on Friday lunchtime and the item arrived by post 10:00 Saturday morning! They couldn't have been more helpful. Isn't it great to have a phone answered by a real, understanding and efficient person :) Additionally, each purchase from 'SaveWaterSaveMoney' leads to another tree being planted - so good for everyone! Neat idea that fails in implementation. The suckers on the bottom let it rise to much meaning there's a lot of water under it and it's not very big anyway, I wouldn't buy again.

Ordered Water Head - Never arrived after 3 apparent reshipments which were obviously lies as the order never arrived despite contacting the company at least 5 times.

Eventually received the item but took over 2 months to arrive

Amazing customer service, very polite and helpful, order late afternoon and package was here the following morning. Can fault pricing or service. Will recommend to others looking for these type of products.

Goods ordered never arrived. The telephone number given on the order acknowledgement for enquiries relating to the order turned out to be the wrong one. The 'help' agent was rude and unhelpful. I obtained a refund in the end but the experience was as unpleasant as the person who answered the phone.

Product was not up to my satisfaction, explained to customer services that I was not happy with the product. They immediately agreed that I could return it for a full refund. The money was refunded to my account within 3 days. That's service!

You should see this new tap I have had installed in the en-suite - it's electric! Yes, you heard me right - an electric tap.
Got so fed up waiting for the hot water to find it's way from the combi boiler to the en-suite, just to have a shave. Wasted buckets of water.
This new tap works off the cold supply and gives constant hot water immediately.
Thinking of installing another one in the bathroom for the wife - no more expensive than an ordinary good quality tap at £170. Should put me in her good books!!


PS - difficult to reply by 01/09/14 when email not rec'd until today 21/10/14???

I would buy any item from this company, you get what you want, I found it to be very informative, you can get anything you want to save water. I would drfinitely use them again.

it was easy to order and delivered as you said.
Its amazing the experience with this new shower and you can tell its saving water.
And the freebies with other small items i have used were a great bonus.

I would highly recommend the gadget I put in my cistern, it is easy to use, clean and you never know it is there except that it saves a good amount of water. Very pleased
