Great customer support and fun socks

I signed my husband up for a subscription last year and he has really liked the socks he has received thus far. The November socks weren't to 'his liking' so we emailed them and they included a free replacement pair with his December shipment. What I really liked about this is that they asked us to donate the other pair to a local homeless shelter. Based on our experience with them I would recommend them.

I gave a one year subscription to my …

I gave a one year subscription to my son in law and, without contacting me, this 12 month gift was rolled over for another year. Only after my son in law told me halfway through the next year that he was still receiving socks did I know to contact the company. I was refunded six months worth but would like a full refund since I have the unused, recovered socks to return. Since I cannot get a return call or email after trying for nearly two months and all I want is a name and address for returning these socks, I have no recourse. I would never recommend any dealings with this company and I can easily say that what initially seemed a great gift idea has turned into a customer service nightmare...truly the worst experience I've had with an online business.

Update: I must amend this review because the owner, Daniel, just phoned to apologize and generously refund my full year's membership charge. He is thoroughly decent, respectful, and apologetic. So, while the experience was as I stated, the resolution was gracious, generous, and satisfying. I would recommend them since their product is delightful and great fun, and as a business, they certainly adhere to the adage, "the customer is always right."

It was a great gift

My mother got this for me as a Christmas gift last year. It has honestly been one of the best gifts that she has every given me. I am a sock fanatic! Seriously, I love fun socks! Say it with a Sock have yet to dissapoint me with their socks that they have shipped to me. My package got stolen from my mailbox once and they shipped me a replacement pair within a week.

Misleading, buyer beware

The quality of socks posted on thier Instagram is higher than the quality you will receive. You may also receive socks branded from different companies. Sometimes the branding takes up 50% or more of the sock. You're unable to cancel or refund a subscription.

This business does not have the customers best interest in mind and it shows through bad quality and bad service.

From our previous email conversations with you, it was discovered that you had been messaging another sock business on Instagram and were referring to their socks and not ours. It is due to this that you were not able to exchange your socks as we never received any emails or messages from you.

As a reminder, we have a happiness guarantee policy where active subscribers can request replacement socks if they do not like a specific pair of socks shipped to them. We would be more than happy to exchange your socks for you.

Quality socks. Quality Service

I was skeptical about ordering socks online for the first time, but am now sold on it. The website was easy to navigate and most importantly, they delivered what they promised -- and then some!

The socks were of great design and excellent quality and I couldn't have asked for more.

Fabulous gift!

What do you buy the person who has everything? FUN SOCKS!
I surprised my brother with a multi-month sock delivery for his birthday and he just LOVES them! I also like that each delivery comes with a special note from me!

Father's Day gift.

Absolutely love this idea. It is great alternative for a gift for that hard to buy for person on your list. However, I have to say the ordering process and execution and delivery process need some work. I ordered a 6 month subscription for Father's Day and here we are September and my husband has received 2 pairs of socks. Also, I took the time to write notes for each pair of his socks and they have yet to send the socks with hand written personal message they advertise. The 2 pairs of socks that we did get are great. But you never know when the next one will appear and they never have the notes I took the time to write do he never knows who they are from!! Again great idea. Poor delivery!!!

Thank you for the feedback, we apologize that you have not had a superior experience with us. We had some initial bumps getting everything organized with Cratejoy—our online subscription platform, which is why we never knew about the personal notes you wrote. We are working with them to fix this. We will follow up with you to make sure we do right by you!

Additionally, whenever someone orders a gift subscription, the recipient of the gift receives an email to "claim" their subscription and fill out their address, it is only once this happens that their socks will start to come in the mail. We will do a better job of making this clear on our website and in our order conformation emails so we can avoid poor user experiences.

Again we apologize for any frustration we may have caused you and hope that your husband loves his socks.

Solidly Okay

I got a 6 month subscription for my husband for Valentine's Day because it seemed rather clever. The customer service's response time to my emails was fantastic, but the socks didn't come at the same time each month (this may have been because we are on the East Coast). This element of surprise worried me; however, it might be fun for others. The packaging and notes were always cute, but David only liked two out of the six pairs of socks.

As a customer, I would have appreciated more say in choice of socks and choosing the time they were sent. I'd also like an option to write the notes each month-- or maybe do two or three months in advance rather than 6 months at a time.

With regards to the notes, this is a request that we have been receiving a lot of. We are looking into a way for customers to be able to log into their accounts and change their gift messages. For now, customers can always email us asking to add/edit/remove their messages.

Best Customer Service!

My friend told me about Say it with a Sock a few months ago and I signed up. Thus far, I have loved all the socks. I had an issue with my shipping address and the customer service I received was fantastic. They responded within the hour and were quite humorous!
