I ordered a drill starter and when it arrived via USPS the tip had been broken off. I contacted Art Lanski and that day he had two replacements in the mail at no cost to me. They obviously stand behind what they sell. Kudos to them. I will definitely shop with them in the future.

Abysmal experience over email with John. They had an out of date image of a rolife super creator kit (the cafe) on their site, so I assumed that they were still stocking this variant, which I was not able to find anywhere else. Apparently they were just lazier than everyone else and didn’t change their listing. I asked for a return label since I didn’t receive the product pictured and was told that I was in the wrong because “the layout is the same”. Never mind that the aesthetics of this kit whose only purpose is aesthetics were entirely different. It bordered on gaslighting since he said “It is not false advertising” when it is by definition. Would not order from them again. Dishonest practices.

Update: he condescended to me one more time in his email offering me the chance to book a return - “ If you can’t see that the pictures are pretty much the same then we must be looking at different things, see below for returns info.” We were not looking at different things since I sent him a screenshot of the listing I saw … “pretty much the same” is not good enough ..you have an image of a different item up on your site. Bumped up to 2 stars from 1 because he is letting me return. Keeping the negative review because he was so rude about it and only let me do the return because I said I would do a chargeback (I suspect he knew I would win my chargeback case).

Consistently excellent customer service. Easy to use website, huge product range, competitive prices and super fast delivery. My first choice for models, paints and accessories.

One of my go to shops for my modelling needs. Whilst not always the cheapest, their customer service is brilliant! Takes a few days to get order processed, but once done, the communication is good and the items are always well packaged.

This time around I ordered some Micro Sol and Micro Set and the next day realised I needed some varnish. A quick message to the owner and he topped up the order without any problems at all.

Placed an order a couple of nights ago as a new customer and made a mistake, so emailed on about order and a extremely helpful chap called John Sandells emailed back to me on opening and was extremely helpful and patient over a couple of emails sorted my problem out , good old fashioned service and for what was actually a very small order which I then received in 48 hrs ,so will definitely be using them again and I would highly recommend them and again thanks again Mr John Sandells if only all company's were run like this ....

Excellent customer service, John was amazing, I ordered the wrong size hose for my airbrush and John sent me an email to query whether the hose was intended for the airbrush I had just purchased and if I wanted to change it for right size. All items arrived safely today. I will definitely be shopping again in the near future. Many thanks.

Had an issue with one of the drill bits on my DSPAIE Hand Drill, but John took care of everything. Excellent customer service which is why scalemodelshop.co.uk are my goto for all scale modelling supplies.

I've ordered a tamiya kit as well as a lot of tools from here before. My last order was for a bunch of Dspiae products that I couldn't find anywhere, they came in a couple days with tracking, safely wrapped and protected in the box. They have a great selection at a great price and are reliable. Not much more you could want really.

Excellent customer service. Problem with a part I had received (manufacturer error, no the scale model shop). Emailed about it on a saturday not expecting a reply until monday but by sunday the matter had been resolved and the replacement part was here by the tuesday.

Great shop, great range and amazing service, my go to shop for all my modeling needs. Had some time away from it lately due to work commitments, but I've got time now, so I'll be back regularly.
