From the initial site visit to completion of the works has been an absolute joy and the competitiveness of the price made it even better. A special mention to the workers on site just amazing.

Schnauber are fantastic. They built a new entrance door and frame for our house that matched the appearance of the 20 year old door but exceeded it for fit, mechanicals, locks, and paint. It is beautiful.
They quickly arranged a visit, prepared the quote, took detailed measurements, and submitted a swift manufacturing and installation schedule.
The arranged an early installation date that suited us, removed the old door and installed the new in just a day of diligent hard work. It fitted perfectly. Some minor modifications to the surrounds were necessary to get the old frame out but these were reinstated to match the existing walls, sealed with silicone and mastic and touched up with top coat paint inside and out. (We did supply the paint to be sure it matched).
The installers were just two craftsmen with a complete set of all the tools they needed in their van. They worked exceptionally hard throughout a very hot June day (8 hours), knew exactly how they would do the job, and very accurately checked all their work for vertical and square position. They verified the locks, catches, hinges, and presented us with the keys.
On completion they cleaned up, removed the waste, vacuumed the floor, washed the paintbrushes. In short, they thought of everything.
This company will go a long way with customer service like this.

We have used Schnauber before for our patio doors and we’re very happy with them so we chose them to replace our windows and doors. They provided a first class service from the initial quote to completing the project and clearing the site, exceeding our expectations. Their products are excellent with attention to detail to get everything right.

We've used Schnauber twice now, previously for 6 casement windows, and again last month for 5 large sash. We are always pleased with their work, the craftmanship is superb. We live in an old property and have had a lot of work and the Schnauber team are by far the most courteous, respectful and clean of any tradesmen we have had.

The workmen were excellent and worked very well together. Their attention to detail was superb ensuring the finish was of an exceptional high standard. The doors have been made exceptionally well and are of a very high quality.
My kitchen door complements my new kitchen and the style of the doors fit in well with the age of the property.
The doors are not cheap, however, if you want an exceptionally high quality, bespoke wooden doors and well fitted, then these are the boys to go to!

Having replaced a number of sash windows with Schnauber in 2022 with which we have been very happy (including an outsized arched sash), we requested a quote to replace 2 casement windows on the second floor of our semi. The tilt and swivel units are beautiful and have transformed our bedroom. Installation was careful, tidy and efficient. We cannot recommend Schnauber highly enough for their efficiency and quality of finished installed product. Keep up the great work!

We found Schnauber by chance when looking for a local firm to replace our very draughty and inefficient Victorian front door.
We were presented with a wide range of choices, both on the door itself and on all the finishes and accessories. Everything about the ordering and installation process was explained very clearly during a face-to-face meeting.
The door was fitted over a two day period by two very competent and methodical contractors. They hardly stopped for a second!
Everything was cleared away satisfactorily afterwards.
We are absolutely delighted with our new door and cannot recommend Schnauber highly enough

I first came across Schnauber when they replaced my neighbours bay window. I was impressed by the standard of their workmanship, so I decided to use them when I needed my bay replacing, together with a pair of sash windows and stone sills.
Firstly, the quality of their windows is superb.
Nothing was too much trouble for either their office or installation staff.
Selection, measuring up and ordering was a nice straightforward process.
The installation team worked tirelessly and it was a pleasure to see the pride they took in their work with everything fitting like a glove and all the details being just right.
In summary - excellent!

Our first visit from the Schnauber rep. was informative with no ‘hard sell’ tactics. Marius came to do the survey and was very thorough and detailed all the options and costs. He also made us aware of the lead time. 6/7 months!! This was due to the work load and their uncompromising high standards.They are very particular about who they employ for their installation crews and will only take on people with the necessary skills.
The door was installed in April. The crew were courteous and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The finished job is a transformation. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Schnauber.
One thing to bare in mind; after having paid the 20% deposit, we never heard a word for 6 months. Don’t worry about it. You’ll be pleased with the end result.

I chose Schnauber because of their emphasis on quality and I am absolutely delighted with my choice. My new front door and new garden doors and windows are beautiful and were expertly installed by Jonas and Iman just over 2 months ago.

We had 8 windows fitted, which was done within one week. The two guys doing it were really excellent, and worked long hours to get it all finished, including a great job of leaving everything clean and tidy. Our only criticism, which is similar to others, is that it sometimes took a bit of effort to make contact and get a response. However, we'd certainly consider using them again.

The windows and doors we ordered were absolutely first class and fitted perfectly by there team, dedicated in everything they did from the fitting and cleaning up on site every day after they finished.

Really disappointed in Schnauber’s customer service. We had a new front door installed by them five years ago, which has been excellent so we wanted them to quote for replacement windows. We were visited by an assessor who promised a quote. But three weeks (and three chasing phone calls) later - nothing. No contact, no quotation. Whatever the reason, it’s not encouraging. We would like to use the company because their product and workmanship is good, but with such poor communication I’d need a lot of reassurance to risk it.

The door quality is excellent and the installation team was professional, prompt and polite. However, the communication after making a quote and before installation was poor to non-existent, and the quoted lead time was from survey rather than paying the invoice which took a long time (over two months from agreeing to a quote) for them to organise. I am pleased with the overall outcome, but did not expect it to take six months (including a delay of over a month without email response despite repeated chasing) from agreeing to go ahead with a quotation to the door installation.

The installers were professional and polite. They covered the other furniture in the room, and the carpets they walked on, against dust. The installation is a success.The finished product looks great. They made sure everything was working properly including returning to check a query I had.

Schnauber guided us through the process of selecting the right combination of windows, hardware and colours for our house. They were able to point us to other properties nearby where they had fitted windows so we could see the workmanship. We're very pleased with the results. The work itself was carried out professionally and efficiently. The workmen were polite, friendly and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. We're very glad we chose Schnauber to provide and install our new windows.

We are very happy with the eight new windows in our Edwardian house, which replace our old ones like for like. The quality is superb and the installation team was very skilled, hardworking, tidy and pleasant.
We would just comment that getting a date for installation to begin took time and effort, as the company was poor about returning our calls and emails. Once the work had started, communication improved.
