This company shipped a Revolution Plus 2.0 Jacket that was damaged with stuffing coming out of one of its pockets. When contacting scottevest, they told us to go to a tailor and also raised the possibility thay we did this to request a discount. They claimed this has been their experience. For a $375 jacket, their customer service is poor and insulting. They proceeded to give a 10$ coupon usable only on their website for placing the burden of quality control on the customer. Don't waste your time.

Very saddened when my front zipper probably wore out to so much use - called customer service and emailed picture of damaged zipper - within minutes received the awesome news vest would be replaced - now happily wearing the replacement!!!!

I ordered the LITE vest based upon their sizing guide. When it arrived the fit was extremely poor. The waist size was 10"+ larger than my waist. The chest was probably 4" larger. It looks like I'm wearing a bin bag. The model photos show a snug fit and clearly do not have pockets with any items in them - very misleading. They do not publish the actual garment sizes.
I contacted support they were TL;DR "Sorry you don't like the fit but that's our how we size them to allow for items in the pockets" and offered a return at my expense. If I had items int he pockets with it being so ill fitting it would be very annoying to wear as it would be flapping about.
I contacted to confirm if duty is to be paid, they said no but the answer is most definitely yes. Given the number of returns they would have known this.
I live in the UK so shipping and duty raised the original price by 1/3. By the time I send it back with shipping and more duty to be paid (more so than the original amount) there is no benefit.
From reading other reviews here they have a history of claiming a problem with the return and therefore not paying anyway. Avoid at all costs.
I left a similar review on their website but it was removed - do not trust their reviews.

I purchased the vest in Jan 2025, between Jan-April 2025 I wore it a total of 5 times. In May 2025, I started wearing it 5 days per week from my home to the office. In October 2025, I noticed tears on the back of the vest near the stitching, I have no clue when the tears first appeared. When I noticed it, the vest had been worn for approximately 100 days, over a 5 month
period. I inspected the vest further and found small tears on the collar (I'm patiently waiting on the tears to show up there next). However this morning, November 5, 2025, I now see a tear near the right armpit and the only reason this was discovered is because I attached the detachable sleeves. The tear again is near the stitching. This fabric that is being used is trash and Scottevest should be refunding money because the product has material defects and this company has been made aware it seems. Maybe a class action lawsuit is in order. Especially since the only remedy they seem to offer is an apology and a claim that this is normal wear and tear, which is BS! I find it hilarious that they offer a discount code for a future purchase - why would anyone buy another inferior product from this brand. The price point is too expensive to offer this trash.
I had to travel on a plane & I would never have been able to have done it without the scottevest. I am have a bad leg & use a specialty walker so it gave me peace of mine knowing everything was "on my body" within "easy reach" and that I didn't need to depend on a bag or purse or another person for passports, credit cards, wallets, meds, glasses, water bottles, cell phone, charges, boarding passes, pens, notebooks, or even the occasional iPad.
I think I heard about you on a Travel blog. Thrilled to finally get the right the right size before the trip. I measured & read reviews & had to return 2x before finding the correct it. I kept going DOWN sizes. I got the lightest west w/ 16 pockets in black.
So loved the vest. 💖. Handy for day outings too. Packs A LOT!

I got a size too large (Men’s Lightest Travel Vest) and SCOTTeVEST got me the return info quickly and the process was hassle free. The actual delivery of my new vest was a bit slow, but I am very happy with the look and feel of the product now that I have it. Some of the pockets are a bit superfluous, but they don’t seem to do any harm, and maybe someday I will find one or two to be just what I need. On the other end of the scale though the useful pockets (9 by my count) are prefect for my needs. I’m looking forward to actually using it on a two week trip to Turkey in just over a week.

I made an error when ordering and received a vest that did not suit me and was on final sale. The customer service I received went above and beyond! The communication through the whole ordeal was constant and I am so grateful for the grace, respect and kindness that was offered to me by the pocket experts. I'm happy to say that my situation concluded with me finally receiving the perfect vest for me (LightEst vest).

Seller had a sale that was advertised for the week of Sept 9th, but the sale ended on that day. It was also limited to certain items. A YouTube channel also promoted the sale with no mention of the restrictions.
They have no problem inflating the cost by claiming the sale was over.
Their checkout didn't make it easy either, by not having a clear place to add the code and not indicating that an item wasn't part of the sale.
First warning to potential buyers: if you decide to purchase from SCOTTeVEST.com, be aware that you are fully responsible for return shipping, including insurance. If you skip the insurance and your return gets lost, there's a good chance you'll be out your money.
I ordered their Epic Travel Jacket and a few long sleeve shirts, totaling around $1,300. About $274 worth of items were of poor quality, so I chose to return them. I paid over $130 for insured UPS return shipping.
Two weeks later, I received only a partial refund of $819. I attempted to contact customer service multiple times but received no response.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from this company. Their return policy is costly, and the lack of customer support is frustrating.
Bottom line: Poor quality control, expensive returns, and questionable refund practices. Shop elsewhere.

This is the worst company ever!! All the reviews you see here are a reflection of how worst their company is! I would rather go and purchase from Tropicfeel and blufworks than this cheap company. Their service is hell worst as well.
I'm going to be traveling out of the country this summer, and I purchased a woman's windbreaker from SCOTTeVest for my trip. I was so excited to get the jacket. Because the jacket comes with so many pockets, I sized up just to accommodate the extra things that would be stuffed into the pockets. When I received the jacket, I was disappointed to see that it was cut very slim. It didn't really allow for women with hips. So I had to return it. All of this would have been fine, except for the fact that when I returned the jacket, and received my refund, I saw that they took the original $8 back for the first shipment of the jacket, and also charged me shipping for the shipping back. So all together it cost me almost $30 in shipping for a jacket that I didn't even keep. I think this is a pretty crappy policy, especially since these jackets are so expensive. I think it would benefit them in the customer service department to eat the first $8 of shipping. Rather than charge it back to the customer if they decide to return the jacket. I will never be buying from them in the future.
