I recently rented an apartment through Scottfraser. I was booked in for viewing by Caitlin and Sophie took it from there.
Sophie was absolutely efficient, professional and helpful in securing the property for my family. Scottfraser gave me what really suits my family. I didn't have to view countless houses before I got this apartment which means Scottfraser is people specific and works with what the clients want.

Avoid at all costs - we rented from a dodgy landlord called Peter Leung through Scott Fraser. Mass incompetence, dishonesty and carelessness. Took 3 months to get deposit back.

We had a really great and supportive experience with Scott Fraser when we were moving to the area as a young couple. They provide everything you need step by step and communication is open and quick. Our agent Sophie was lovely and provided great advice and helped ease my anxiety about the process. Would recommend.

Disrespectful and incompetent.

I have rented with several estate agents in Oxford and Scott Fraser are by the far the worst. I wasn't able to move into my room for 6 weeks due to someone leaving the company and not handing over my room application. When I went to pick up my keys (prearranged appointment) no one was there. When I did manage to get hold of someone (The Sales team were lovely and helped me get hold of someone), they only gave me a key to my bedroom and not the front/back doors. After back and forth with them for a month, they said they couldn't find it and I would have to get my own key cut.

Throughout my tenancy, Scott Fraser staff have turned up unannounced (no 24 hours notices given which is illegal) and even locked me out of my own bedroom for one night. For this I was compensated, but only after persistently asking. These are only a few issues that happened over the course of a year.

Scott Fraser are only quick to act when it suits them. I even had to chase them about my deposit. If you can avoid renting with them I would.

Scott Fraser was recommended by another agent in the area who doesn’t cover Witney, due to their previous positive experience.
Sam was quick to attend a valuation appointment, then took a personal, knowledgable, and straightforward approach.
There was no formal sales pitch, and Sam gave open and honest advice.

I had the displeasure of dealing with Scott Fraser in the role of a tenant. Disrepectful, untrustworthy & generally incompetent.

I don't want to waste anymore time on them other than to leave a short review to advise those who have the choice to AVOID.

My experience with Scott Fraser was really great. The letting agent Wiktoria Wacinska was absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable, efficient and super helpful. The whole process has been smooth and many thanks to Wiktoria and Scott Fraser team for making it easier and streamlined. Well done.

All round excellent experience from start to finish. William Davis was super helpful and always on hand to answer any questions or queries both about the property and application process. His speedy responses and transparency made the experience easy and stress free. Scottfraser were also very accommodating in allowing for a virtual viewing as I was unable to view the property in person. Emma was incredibly helpful and video called me to show me round the property and also answer any questions. I am also thrilled with the property. I would thoroughly recommend Scottfraser to anyone else.

Fantastic service from Sophie Wyatt, Sophie was professional throughout the process, every email, phone call was as promised. It’s the personal touch which is what you need when moving house. Megan was amazing from start to finish, absolutely could not fault her!! Then Mark when I collected the keys! I've never been a fan of state agents, but the Scott Fraser team in Witney are a firm favourite and shall be recommending to everyone!!

Based on our experience as tenants in Oxford with SF, who both let and manage the property, we found SF to be unresponsive and unprofessional property managers. Here are some of the issues we encountered:

- SF failed to complete the inventory before the tenancy commenced.
- It took months and several official complaints for SF to address serious issues such as a radiator falling off the wall, a broken toilet, and damages caused by contractors to the property.
- SF failed to register a property check visit and attempted to schedule another one two months after the initial visit.

Having rented properties both nationally and internationally for years, I can confidently say that this is by far the worst property management company I have encountered.

I would recommend to anyone! The team made the process so straight forward and were lovely at all times. Emma was particularly great, she communicated constantly with us and was always happy to answer our questions and put our mind at ease. Thank you :)

It is been a pleasure dealing with Caia for the purchase of our first home. She has been great though the entire process.
