Union Jack Rear Lights
I’ve just had Union Jack rear lights fitted on my Mini Cooper D Convertible at SCP in Market Drayton. I love the look of them and they are brighter and more useful than the previous ones. Customer service at SCP was amazing and I’m going back for AppleCar Play and I’m going to upgrade my steering wheel. I’d highly recommend for price, quality and customers service.

Very disappointed – expensive product failed after one year, no support from SCP Automotive
I purchased the MINI F-Series Android Display Upgrade – Android Auto and Apple CarPlay from SCP Automotive about 1.5 years ago. At first, I was very satisfied with the product — it worked perfectly and looked great in my car.
However, out of nowhere, the screen brightness suddenly dropped to the point where I could barely see anything on it. I spent hours trying to fix it myself before reaching out to SCP Automotive’s customer service. At first, they seemed helpful and suggested a few steps to solve the issue. Unfortunately, after I followed their instructions and the problem still wasn’t resolved, they completely stopped responding.
Despite several attempts to contact them again over the following months, I never received another reply. It’s now been half a year, and I’ve come to accept that I’m stuck with a €700 Apple CarPlay unit that I can no longer use after just about a year.
Save yourself the frustration and don’t buy from SCP Automotive. — their customer support is non-existent once real issues occur.

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve experienced an issue with your display after it had been working perfectly for so long. We assisted you in July with several troubleshooting steps, and from the information provided it appears the issue is likely a power related rather than a system fault.
Our displays are built and tested to a high standard, and will continue working reliably for many years. However, as with any electronic product, unexpected faults can occasionally develop over time. The unit was at the point of contact outside of the 12-month warranty period, which already exceeds the legal minimum. Our team still responded to your queries and offered guidance to help as best we could.
If you’d like us to take another look at the unit, we can still arrange a diagnostic or repair service to get it back up and running. Please email help@scpautomotive.co.uk with your order details and we’ll be happy to assist further.
BMW F40…
Had my BMW F40 steering wheel wrapped in a alcantara cover. And one of their carbon steering wheel trims fitted at the same time. At the point of collection I was happy but after bringing it home and looking at it with more detail I’ve noticed imperfections with the cover and the trim.
The cover has ripples on one side only was told this is normal with it being alcantara but the other side is perfect. So I questioned the issue and was told it’s normal and they were clearly not interested in taking a second look at it or trying to make it better.
The carbon trim itself is not OEM fitment and looks awful again I understand it’s not a OEM part but should still fit the same for £195. Also they were not interested in taking a look at it or trying to put it right. Their point is oh well you was happy at collection well yes I was but as I’ve said I’ve now looked in more detail.
Most company’s after spending a considerable amount of money would help you out if you had issues clearly SCP don’t.
I have got frustrated with the company and lowered the politeness towards them but after 0 help I don’t care.
Wouldn’t bother with this company again look else where. Something that could have been resolved if they had the right attitude to take a look.
