I can’t recommend this company highly enough. I’ve had two cars picked up and both collections went smoothly and on time. I was kept informed throughout the process by incredibly helpful staff on the phones. Very fast payments for both and even a follow up telephone call to ensure payments were received. Was quoted £500 for Audi A5 to scrap. Told them the cars alternator doesn't work and won't start. They still guaranteed £500. I ring back and say the car is ready to be picked up, this time I am speaking to a gentleman named Chris. He says they can only offer £350 as it doesn't start. Apparently the lack of alternator still meant the car could start hence the initial £500 evaluation. Clearly offer more to get you in the door then low-ball you hoping you can't be bothered going elsewhere. Just wasted load of my time so cheers Chris ❤️

Very impressed . Very efficient. A friendly and helpful company. The man who took my car was very friendly, and made me feel better as he told me the ‘tyres would be recycled in a children’s playground’ . Overall , I would highly recommend them!

Waited in twice for the 12-5 slot, nobody turned up. Each time I phoned they couldn't get in touch with the local agent who was doing the pick up. Ten hours of my life I won't get back.

I had my BMW estate picked up from my rear drive. The car had battery connections cut and steering wheel locked. Not to mention the flat tyres and rusted pads!!! Called and booked within seconds at the price guaranteed ( was very reasonable). The driver came and scratched his head for a few minutes and then spent half an hour manoeuvring within the confined space and managed to get it on to the back of his truck. This seemed an impossible task, given the tight angle and confined space. He did not complain once and kept me positive despite clearly having to work miracles. No damage to gates or walls and so a fantastic job. Further, I forgot to take my private reg off from the car and only realised this 2 days later. Called them and they asked me to pop in to their office and see if we could save it. They spent some time tracking the vehicle on their system and are now awaiting the V5 and will transfer it to my name when they receive it. Bloody amazing guys and nothing but kindness from them. Excellent service and I can't praise them enough. Can't understand why there are some here giving negative comments? They turned up when others didn't, paid me highest price and went overboard to pick up the car! So no complaints at all. Told friends and family about them and will use them again without hesitation.

I phoned about scrapping car ,didn't wait long before someone answered phone,good price given and helpful explanation on what to do ,time and date they pick the car up and money in my bank within a couple of hours .

Would give a 0 star rating if I could. Booked the day off, waiting in all day nobody came!
Rang the company they said they were still on way and definitely coming.
Another hour passed, rang again and the man said highly unlikely they would come at 6:30pm but he would chase it up.
Again never heard anything!
Avoid at all costs. Don't waste a day's wage waiting for these to show as they won't!

Booked in for collection, waited in all afternoon no show no calls nothing, rang up to chase collection and was greeted with THE WORST jingle known to man I rang up and was on hold for an accumulation of 53 minutes most times cut off at 15 mins the last time I gave up. Tried again this morning still no answer then discovered these reviews...got onto another company now with a better price

Was given a low ball price. Which they then upped to a reasonable level so I booked the appointment.
Never showed up. When I contacted them the next day they said they'd check and call back. They never called back but they booked me in for another day (they didn't ring me they just sent an email) and the quote had dropped in price! So I had to ring BACK and cancel but their "system couldn't find me". Shocking! I took the afternoon off work waiting for them. I do NOT recommend!

Called and agreed price and collection date for Friday , no one came out on Friday after I took the day off work for this also after calling the number provided for follow up information about when car will be collected today (Monday) they claimed that they had emailed me with a change off date however I had not received this email/message he is claiming was sent by global ardour regarding change off collection and last communication I had was with scrap local and the person on the phone who I spoke to was very condescending and rude making me cancel altogether and look elsewhere

I arranged a pick up for my car a couple of days ago and they never showed up. I called 3 times and each time they said they will call me back as high priority but no one called. I even emailed and didn’t get a response. I waited in all day and no one showed up. They haven’t called me since to let me know why or to rearrange another collection
