Booking travel insurance to Rarotonga…
Booking travel insurance to Rarotonga with SCTI was so easy via the website.
Covered scootering around the island with a very low additional charge. I think the price for both of us was better than other Companies and given Southern Cross have been around a long time, I am confident they would be great to deal with if a claim was required.

So my husband broke his tooth in Bali
So my husband broke his tooth in Bali - I reported it straight away - I tried to do it online but it wouldn’t accept my policy number and then I heard back that the work needed to be done in Bali and not when we returned 2 days later in NZ! I won’t use your company again

Worth the Purchase
The policy gave me peace of mind that should we have to access the insurance, it covered all the incidents we considered could happen and that the process for claiming was clear and straightforward. I was also impressed that we received an email outlining the process just before we travelled, and an email when we completed our travel, and information we needed in the event we needed to make a claim. In addition, the cost of cover was fare and reasonable.

Policy 13791107 last year Waste of time and money
Policy 13791107 last year. Just getting around to writing this as looking at a policy for travel this year. During middle of travels got an alert that the policy had expired. communicating with SCTI about how to rectify the matter was a slow frustrating exercise in dealing with a quagmire of bureaucratic procedures. Not sure if I ever had a reply from a real human. The policy was a waste of time and money.
