Good pricing and user friendly…
While I didn't need to claim on my travels, I found getting the cover straight forward and simple, the price was competitive and inclusions were fair. Highly recommend traveling with travel insurance, I spent some time comparing others, and these guys came out ontop.

When my daughter and I got snowed-in in New York and our flight was delayed, I had no need to worry because I knew SCTI would look after us, and they did. Simple application process. Fair premiums and excess. Very helpful 24/7 emergency service. Simple claims process. Quick claims settlement. Very satisfied.

If I could give them a zero I would! When does a guided quarterzone injection classified as surgical? This process is costing less than the excess, we are on wellbeing 2. Seems very pointless having expensive health insurance.

Best choice and a win win.
Arranging travel insurance with Southern Cross was very quick and easy. After comparing two insurance providers, Southern Cross won out due to cost competitiveness, plus having a realistic car hire excess cover (the alternate policy would not fully cover the hire company excesses, despite it being a motor vehicle aligned member organisation). I was pleasantly surprised to discover all my pre-existing medical conditions were covered. So, my choice of cover was a win win, and even better that I had no need to make a claim.

Absolute arrogance & poor work
Southern Cross rejected the claim in total arrogance. I then had to complain. The claim was then accepted on review by Southern Cross. No apologies from Southern Cross for their poor work. What a shame.
